Hi guys, I bought a display with touch already created to replace on my nexus 4. But this time (I've broken three times) the touch does not work the right way.
The touch works, but I need to connect phone with another touch (which broke) and then with your smartphone on trade for this new I bought. This way it works. But if I shut down or restart the phone, the touch stops working, as if not recognized after reboot.
What can I do to solve this problem? Update drivers? Any suggestions?
Note: I do not want to have to buy another screen and touch.

Here is a thread about similar issues: [Q] Nexus 4 touchscreen and Battery Issues.
Sounds like a hardware issue.
Maybe best to give it to a service center for repair.
But you can register on xda and ask in the [HELP THREAD] nexus4 Ask any question..
Maybe there are experienced users having the same device like you, who can provide more specific help in this case.
Good luck !

Then it should be still under warranty. Take it back to the shop where you got it.
you better go and exchange it
Hello all,
Today I received my Nexus S, it was a demo model but it looked perfectly fine and I got it cheap.
Now while installing the phone it was doing some weird stuff but I thought well, maybe I'm touching the softkeys. But now sometimes the phone behaves like there are all types of softkeys being touched without touching the phone at all. The phone also vibrates like the softkeys are being touched.
Maybe someone knows this issue and knows how to resolve it?
The phone is still running 2.3
Thanks in advance
Can be closed, send the Phone to retailer and it has been replaced with a new one.
Still dont know what the problem was but I'm satisfied with the solution.
The digitizer is messed up

Hi guys!
The sound started playing 2-3 days ago everytime i power my screen on.
The sound in question
Its not the lockscreen, i dont remember to install any new apk.
The issue is also linked with the infrared sensor not working properly. When im calling someone the screen flashes near my ear (the screen is not black)
Do you know whats causing it?
Many thanks!

Hello everyone,
I had a problem on my Huawei g510, it started with random clicks on the screen and then blind line in the middle of the screen, after.. I broke the touch screen and now I decided to change it, thinking that all the problems would be fixed.
So I took it to a store and they fixed it for me, what I found out is another blind line in the bottom of the screen which made me think that this is not a touchscreen problem.
So what do you guys think ? what is it and can it be fixed ?
I tried several ROMS and Kernels seems not like a software issue.

Hello, so i had my OnePlus one for a while and just recently i dropped it lucky the screen didn't crack and opens up just fine but the touch stopped working is there a fix for this? And how do i go about it.. I'm currently in Egypt so there isn't really any replacements and anyone who knows much about this device to be able to repair it at a decent price. I would like to fix it on my own, and i honestly hope its just a wire unplugged or something..
Thanks.

If you're screen stopped working after dropping it, it is most likely damaged. Dropping it will not cause any rom to malfunction and stop touch from working. It may be a loose connection, or if you got the device used from somewhere, the screen may have once been replaced and the replacement may not be as good as the original (which by no means was perfect either).
It happened to me. Open your opo, disconnect and then reconnect the screen.
