Phone just doesn't turn off by itself unless you got a problem with ur battery
Try turning on ur phone while it is connected to charger
If it turns on then its a battery problem
Which led blinks when charer is connected

If you did not not do any crazy stuff to your phone then its better to take it to a service centre now unless you want to take the risk of re flashing firmware by whshua flash tool

Solution
First install PC Companion on your PC...
Then open PC Companion and Click on Support Zone and let it download some files..
Then next Click on Repair button...
Then after it will show some procedure like press volume up button and at the same time connect your phone to PC..
This time it will recognize your phone...and it will download the latest firmware and will flash it for you..
Be patient while it downloads....
Hope I was able to help you.

I'm trying to picture this in my head so humor me and try this.
Unplug USB cable from phone and PC.
Plug USB cable into PC ONLY.
Take battery out of your phone (by the way, your phone will go into download mode without the battery in. I've done it).
While holding down both volume buttons, plug USB cable into your phone. Continue holding. Eventually you should see the download mode confirmation where it says volume up to continue and volume down to cancel.
Release both volume buttons.
Put your battery back in
Press volume up to continue to download mode.
If you follow these steps and the phone goes into a black screen with a phone, a right arrow and a PC, that is the "I'm messed up so you need to fix me now" download mode, but it is download mode nonetheless and Odin will recognize that mode.
Let me know how that turns out.

Looks like maybe a few things
1. Battery may be completely Dead, leave it plugged in for awhile and see if your able to do anything.
2. When doing recovery are you releasing the buttons when the Samsung logo shows? Same with download mode, also looked like you may have been holding the power when trying DL mode.

Watched your video. I don't have headphones at work today so I have no sound but I get the gist of what you're doing. I noticed at the very end you were only using one finger to hold down both the volume up AND the volume down keys. Is it possible that your finger is slipping off and only one is being pressed by the time you plugged in your USB cable? The phone is reacting as if both buttons are not being held down at the same time. Again, just an observation
The important part is that you need to hold down both volume buttons at the same time while you plug in the USB cable. Also it's worth mentioning that the only buttons you're supposed to be holding are the volume buttons. So do not hold the power button at any point during the process of putting it into download mode. The phone didn't react as if you were holding the power button but I wanted to mention it anyway.
Tried your advises and nothing happens... ((

Bricked and can't restore, red light!

Hi there, I've been working on unbrick a Xperia L that died last week.
Before:
-Battery works "perfect".
-Not rooted, never touched like that.
Problem:
-Red blinking light if push power putton.
-Red light fied if charging (wall, computer, portable battery...).
-Nothing in screen, ambolutely dead.
Tried:
- Change usb cable(s), power adapter(s) Charging hours.
-Reset: Vol+ & power button, (Also vol-) All combinations, with/out cable, with/out battery...in wall, computer...
-PC Companion doesn't recognize it, Ive tried to connect with vol- pushed and computer detect mobile but install a generic usb driver (tried to update with xperia adb from flashtool, but I can't).
-(strange things): Connect to power adapter with power button pushed for 1 hour...
Anyone can help me?
Have you tried with different battery? When the red light is blinking that means battery is low.

You should reinstall your firmware using Sony PC companion. Download it and it will give you instructions how to repair your phone. Make sure you have all the necessary drivers installed. this is official and simple method to repair your phone
Secondly , you can alternatively use FLASHTOOL.
If you still have questions, quote for a reply

my phone is still bricked. when using flashtool in flashmode, connected to the PC, it repeats the following message:
INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
INFO - Device disconnected
Device connected with USB debugging off
For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
INFO - Device disconnected
and the led light is red on, then off, then on ....
if i try to connect it to the power adapter, the led light is red with fast blink. And I try to use another power adapter (iphone's ), the red light is on, continuously for about 20 minutes, then off, at this time ,if i try to reconnect to the power adapter, the led is still off. after try power button or vol+ button, then the led is back again , but with the same status.
is there anything I can do with my z3? I'm desperate...
thanks a lot !!

turn off your device.
Hold power+volume up button and then connect your device via a USB. If however, the device disconnects, you should keep holding the power button and do not leave it.
Lastly, upgrade your drivers from flashtool folder!

you mean inserting the microusb connected with power adapter using vol+button? I tried ,but the led light still fast blinking in red.
I thought maybe the fast blinking means the phone cannot charge in.

Do this , Make sure you load all the files in flashtool and it is waiting for the device.
When it is waiting to flash, hold down power+volume key and connect it. Connecting before means, you will have to hold it for a long time
If it doesnot work, your drivers are outdated which as i suggested upgrade from flashtool folder

no;
when NOT connected: press power + vol+. After that you get two vibrations from the device, this means the device is off.
after that, hold ONLY vol+, and connect it to your PC, with Flashtool waiting for the device using flashmode.
the device will never vibrate, no response at all!
I went to customer service yesterday, they said my device is completely no response to any test and need to change the mainboard....how could a basically flash(just flash 5.0.1 with bootloader never unlocked) will result in such a disaster?! I cannot understand!!

So last night, i left my phone to charge after reaching 5%. When I woke up, my phone won't start and it won't charge either. The LED indicator was not lighting when it is plugged.
I tried every trick:
1. Pressed down the power button in different lengths.
2. No. 1 but with the volume down key
3. Pressed down the yellow button on the sim card tray
4. Tested 5 different charger heads and different wires
5. Tried connecting to 2 different laptops to see if my phone will be recognized
I work close by a Sony Center so I was planning on passing by after work. I was already having a really bad day and my phone is not under warranty. Throughout the morning, I'd randomly check the power button if it will finally work. FORTUNATELY, during lunch, the LED indicator finally lit up! The batt was drained so I had to charge it and wait a few minutes before turning it on. Finally it's on. I don't know what the eff happened or if it is really resolved.

Hi, i hope i can help you.
Hold the Power and the Volume down button. When the Phone is starting and the touch buttons are blinking DO NOT let go the buttons until the screen turns black. Now let go the buttons and press them again immedeatly (up to 15 seconds) until the screen turns on again. Now you should be in fastboot/hboot.
If you need further help, I'm around.
Good luck

So you tried the procedure with plugged and unplugged battery and non of the hardware buttons is responding?
If so, and the computer doesn't recognize the device in any way, you need someone smarter than me. I'm sorry.
My next tip would be to disassemble the device and check for hardware problems.
I hope you find a solution
