You just need firmware. And to flash unsigned firmware you need to be s-off.

Actually I tried both m8sd and m8sw. Both can only 3G. Maybe because I could only use m8sd radio.
it's full lollipop 5.0.2 based on m8d(China telecom dualsim version) official lollipop ota 4.25.1402.6. some drivers from m8sd India test release. the lollipop kernel is finished already a month ago, just wait firmware and some drivers.

now aftr upgrading to lollipop. I wanna remove all those stock apps wich don't at all. help me to use titanium backup. I installed titanium backup whn I uninstall ny app nd restart mi fone. all those apps I uninstalld come back.

Do I have to copy all extrated folders and files into ExternalSD/TWRP/BACKUPS/"YOUR_TWRP_ID"/2014-09-20--23-57-56 KOT49H release-keys?? Or only files that are at the folder TWRP 1.21.401.3??
In the folder there should only be the files from the backup

The recovery cant write the files in the folder. I stopped on step 3 because i cant advance here

0PAIMG.zip inst installing on my phone. When i do fastboot reboot, the phone quickly scans my sdcard for an image but doesnt install. I have put the file on root of my card. Is there any way to verify if the zip file is Ok?

Fixed my issue. The problem was cuz i was using 16GB card, I used a 4GB card and now its updating. thanks. But i still dont get the part where we have to flash m8sw_2.33.401.3_EU_firmware.zip when a new OTA comes. Why do we need to do this? and do we need to do it everytime an OTA comes?

First flash kitkat dem cm12 latest now dual sim fixed on cm12
is that true? i mean cm12 does not have any bugs? 100% bug free?? i mean no bugs at all? wifi connectivity or sim card 2 calling, video recording etc etc have been fixed? all are working???? if so then plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz tell me the procedure how to flash that cm12 STEP BY STEP ..... post me the link to download the required rom and everything.. plzzzzzzzzzzz bro...

E8 don't have IR, so remove Peel Smart Remote.
And, any way to make /system writable?
I manually setup APN and my s-on m8sx now working with this rom properly. Its strange.

I flashed it on customised stock with factory wipe and then it just start well.

Yes its start and working, but mobile connection settings menu is from sprint, so i am kinda lucky. Calls, SMS, 3G/LTE(not shure but i've seen it in status bar) working. Other stuff too.

Well I only support the sprint e8, so any issues on other variants is on you... if I owed that variant I'd gladly support it.

Well I don't see them on xda, so either 1 he can't access xda due to his region or .... 2 he kanged developers work and don't want it to be on xda.
