Xperia M2 D2303 on K.K. 4.4.4
yeah, i can explain! ...you & mihailoZoric, stop polluting this forum!
I asked my question under Q&A section.... so whats wrong???
ok...you two, havent even unlocked your phones, asking all kinds of stupid questions about ROMs. Is SONY paying you for this? Now I know why this phone is named M2....Morons2

Come on, be at least a little constructive! If not then ...
If you previously unlocked bootloader you deleted DRM keys and that's why you have those key errors. No matter if you relocked it again you can't restore keys with a simple relock. The only way is to backup TA partition before you unlock bootloder and then relock it by restoring TA. If you didn't backup TA before unlocking, your DRM keys are gone forever.
The main problem with most users here is that they do lots of s**t to their phones not knowing about consequences. If you wanna use your phone as a toy just for playing, trying to mess something up, please read about things that can happen and then don't whine around asking too many stupid questions.
P.S. Google search is a mother...
i backed up my DRM keys
I also tried to resore...Restore worked but not DRM keys
i used Backup TA version 9.11

i was able to nab a hox on kijiji for a pretty nice deal.
and after lots of reading i was able to get this thing rooted and put TWRP on it.
this came with CM10.1 on it already. i purchased an unlock code and the code did not work it gave some network unlock unsuccessful message.
anyways i was told i need to be on a stock sense rom for the code to work. thus my journey to find a TELUS stock rom for this thing and i have found nothing. i provided the picture of the fastboot screen below. it already has s-off whatever that means. and it is on hboot 1.11.
can someone point me in the right direction? thanks.
any help is appreciated.

Download a sense Rom from our development section drag it over any way you like to your phone wipe data flash Rom put unlock code and profit
can you recommend one that is as close to stock as possible?
also what is super cid and why would i need it? been reading a lot and coming from an s2 there is a whole lot more to getting these HTC's to play nice.
No need for any other modyfiying you have s off which is security off which means you can do anything with your phone... I recommend you try viper xl!

But if you're looking for a very close to stock Rom I suggest clean Rom
Hi,
So a few weeks ago "VSCO cam" the well-Known picture editing apps for android devices stopped working on my CM11 Nexus4
I contacted support Thinking It was A problem with their Latest update.. But, After a few emails they asked If my device was rooted
I told them that I run CM11 which By default is Rooted and that was his reply:

So my questions is:
How is that even possible ? do the app scan the OS for root ?
and if that was the case, Is there a way to "fake-un root" the device or something ?
Are there any Apps you know that will not work on rooted device other than VSCO ?
PS : If this was the wrong forum I'm truly sorry I thought this thread fits here.
And i might want to add: is there a workaround or fix? I tried to unroot and reinstall and it still doesnt work. I also tried to reinstall backup via Titatium which was mentioned somewhere - didn't help... Neither did setting restrictions in privacy app management.I really like the editing tools and variety of filters (especially since they did cost money)
Customer service insists that it is their policy now... Can you maybe cloak the rooting status?
Ps: root cloak via xposed framework does not work...
Somehow it did work in the end... I dont even have root cloak any more and everything works fine. U just dont know why... ?
Before anyone says anything, I know, there's no 'counter' itself, but what I found it's quite similar.
For those who enjoy flashing their devices like me, I'd like to show you how all flashes we made are stored in the TA Partition. It doesn't matter if we have open or closed bootloader, they're all stored there.
Simply make a backup of your partition using a tool like BackupTA 9.11, open the TA.img with N++ and in line 700 and later if you have Unlocked BL, or line 1360 and later on Locked BL, and check the contents.

All flashes we made, via either flashtools or via PCCompanion, are stored there, with CDA contents, if we chose to erase UserData, the version we flashed, etc... So, just in case you just arrived here, and you need to send later your device to Sony to fix it, or repair it, I highly recommend you to root using whatever method you prefer, and then make a TA Bakcup before anything. I did it 1 year ago and this is how the TA looked in that time (quite clean):
Nice! Good job! Thats awesome!:highfive:
Are updates from PC Companion stored there? If not then it's flashtool thing

Click to collapse
I think so, because bootloader updates (EMMA) seems to be there, look at the Unknown lines...
In fact, I think that anytime we flash via S1 protocol, is stored there, as a log.
Hi all,
Scoured the forum for a while but, to be honest, I didn't even know how to search for my issue. Please feel free to redirect me to another thread.
Two problems.
1.
Tried to flash Cyanogen to my Xperia Z3. Unlocked bootloader and tried to do something [enter technical word, flash maybe] a root img file. This soft bricked my phone, took it to a shop, they said it's dead, bought another one. Is this salvageable? More details: Followed instructions here, got to "fastboot reboot", (flashed a cyanogen nightly) then phone only made it to the Sony screen on startup. Then followed these instructions to flash moonwalker but the result was a soft brick (try to turn it on, one lifeless vibration and nothing). Didn't root it beforehand (yep, idiot). I've heard you could flash an older ROM, but this leads me to the problem below.
2.
New phone. Looking to root it. Using flashtool and an ftf (D6603_23.0.A.2.93) downloaded here, but when selecting firmware, the file ftf appears to be empty. I imagine flashtool has undergone cosmetic surgery (update) as it appears to be different than other pictures, or perhaps I'm missing something glaringly obvious?
If anybody with a bit of free time has a moment to help me out, I'd be very grateful. Many thanks.

Not sure the image is working and not able to post external links. To explain it, the firmware appears (and is the correct model), but all other boxes (content, wipe etc.) are empty and the flash button is greyed out.
Hi, i recently got my xa screen shattered and i found another exactly same xa as mine but with signal problems (network not recognised and fails to make any calls, register to gsm)... becouse i bought it cheap and by the looks it's new XA i decided to revive it somehow, i tried to flash firmware newer and same version 33.2.A.4.70. Customization : RU but that didn't solve it. i then unlocked my bootloader, flashed boot and twrp recovery , booted in recovery and find out that some partitions is wiped. i believe this is the problem. im uploading pictures of partitions. can i somehow restore them? i mean i got 2 x fs3111 phones tho my shattered is with android 7 and locked bootloader, but if this is an issue i can solve and fix this phone i can downgrade to same version android 6, unlock, twrp it backup my partitions and restore it in phone that has wiped partitions, or maybe u can tell me better options? im uploading photos of wich partitions lost, take a look XX
AND i took its cover off and looks like it's new and no internal damage to components, i believe it's related to partitions somehow.... tho i'm not expert of android phones ... could that be? xx

Where are u from?, I believe the problem isnt with the partition, maybe the phone is reported by imei, so you have this particular problem, for now on, use the motherboard of your previous phone, to make it work.
