[Q] need help with this HOX. how do i get stock on this? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

i was able to nab a hox on kijiji for a pretty nice deal.
and after lots of reading i was able to get this thing rooted and put TWRP on it.
this came with CM10.1 on it already. i purchased an unlock code and the code did not work it gave some network unlock unsuccessful message.
anyways i was told i need to be on a stock sense rom for the code to work. thus my journey to find a TELUS stock rom for this thing and i have found nothing. i provided the picture of the fastboot screen below. it already has s-off whatever that means. and it is on hboot 1.11.
can someone point me in the right direction? thanks.
any help is appreciated.

Download a sense Rom from our development section drag it over any way you like to your phone wipe data flash Rom put unlock code and profit

can you recommend one that is as close to stock as possible?
also what is super cid and why would i need it? been reading a lot and coming from an s2 there is a whole lot more to getting these HTC's to play nice.

No need for any other modyfiying you have s off which is security off which means you can do anything with your phone... I recommend you try viper xl!

A bit to Newbie Here!

Hi Guys,
I am totally new to this Android stuff but I love it and would love to learn about it. I have just bought an HTC Magic (32A) which has a logo of TIM on it. It has firmware version 1.4 and the build number is 2.15.901.4.
What I want to do is upgrade my phone to the latest version of Android, and also have the Sense UI installed in it. But I do not know where to start or what to look for. Can somebody here, kindly, briefly describe how can I achieve my target or atleast point me in the right direction.
Regards,
Kamil Waheed

P.S you need to root it, flash the new radio, SPL and recovery and then flash a ROM of your choice which is for the new radio. (2.1 Sense ROMs for the new radio are better than those for the old one(3.22)
Thanks for your reply.
Yea, I know I should google it but googling didn't help a bit. I am a bit too confused right now.
I have found a few tutorials on how to root it.
After that, how to flash the new radio. Instead, I should ask, what is radio?
What is SPL and how to flash that?
What is recovery and how to flash that?
Which ROM should I flash to? Can you also give me a link to one?
I am sorry, but I know nothing about Android. A little more help would be appreciated.
It might help to read this first.

Ok. I know its not as high profile as the Evo3D or Sensation but it was released at a similar time and hopefully has similar exploits that I will test tomorrow. (or as soon as work allows).
Feel free to comment as I will add to the first post any new details.
Use any random rooting tool like superoneclick(usb) z4mod(phone) or gingerbreak(phone) if you have s-off

The Xtc clip now supported chacha.
Rooting is made easy for everyone then, just run any of the apps I mentioned above. Being S-OFF means the device is able to run custom recoveries as well. Could any s-off user contact me? I'll try compiling a recovery for you all to test.

[Q] Amaze with mytouch rooting to achieve s-off

Can we use the mytouch 4g method to achieve s-off on the Amaze? I noticed it had the same ph85.img and want sure if it could only be used to get s-off then flash stock radio back. Our would that basically downgrade your? This may be a stupid question and I tried to Google or CDs the answer first.
Sent on Amaze 4g rooted. S-on
I dont believe the amaze has a method to achieve s-off yet, check the link below

Thank you. I saw that thread and read through most of them. I apologize for all the spelling errors and broken English on the start of the post. My phones autocorrect kicks in a little much. If I knew I could unbrick my phone (just in case) I would try it. Really want to start getting into Dev'ing and really see what this phone can do.
If someone can give me or knows a walk through to get me back on track, them I will try it
no luck
I tried this method and it didn't work. it gives me permission denied, even after I chmod 777 free. Can't get that access into it, even after running visionary. worth a shot. Still waiting patiently for fuses method.

[Q] LG Optimus T P509 and loading a new kernel

I purchased an unlocked LG Optimus T P509 phone off eBay. Phone works fine as it was purchased. It has the stock ROM from T-Mobile and I was interested in loading a different ROM.
I'm attempting to load the kernel found in this thread but I'm having difficulty getting into recovery mode.
I'm aware of the steps leading up to recovery mode. Install z4root to root the phone, install a terminal emulator, and run the reboot recovery command. The problem I'm having happens after I type that command and the phone reboots.
I'm supposed to get this screen here:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But instead I get this:
The screen that I'm getting stays there for about 10 seconds, then the phone reboots itself again and loads right back up completely wiped to factory default.
What gives? I'm I completely stuck and can't do jack with this phone?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Alright, so I figured it out.
This phone has a two-step process to loading a cooked ROM from this place.
I'm compelled to post a write-up of my experience since the information in this forum is all over the place for this phone. Once I'm all finished playing with the phone, I'll work on it.
I ended up installing a stock ROM without overclocking abilities since I couldn't figure out what was the best route to go. Later on I'll tinker with it.
This place, as always, is a great source of information. Thanks again.

Splash Screen

I made a new splash screen for the htc one sv. It is the screen you see when you first turn on your phone now you can change it.
Just put it on the root of your sd card and boot into HBOOT it will find it and ask if you want to install it.
For awesome instructions and more info on how to do this check out old.splatterhand's guide here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2212152
WARNING!!!
As with any modifying of system files anything can go wrong!!! Make a FULL BACKUP before using this. It does work for me and have been using it for a month with no problems. But i hold no responsibility if your phone bricks from this, your doing it at your own risk. So please know what you are doing and if you need help ask before not after you bricked your phone.
Change the boring splash screen with this one.

Thank you. I looked thru your index that you made (very well laid out have it booked marked) but i did not see the the original splash screen listed anywhere. Maybe i over looked it. But maybe you can grab it from the phone, i would of but couldn't figure out how to, so i just overwritten mine, would be nice in case some one wants to reinstall it for warranty purposes. I looked for hours to find the ADB code to save it but couldn't so i gave up on it and just bit the bullet and overwritten it.
