hi there..
my phone has been stolen about 3 month ago and now it's been found.. phone is turn off ..
i plug the charger but no go.. no tun on.. nothing.. it seems it doesn't charge..
how much longer should i wait ? anything i can do to bring it to life?
please help me...
Well if it's not turning on and there's no indication of charging then your first move is to crack it open and make sure a battery is actually still inside.

Hello all! hopeing someone can help my fix my poor e650, the battery went flat overnight went to charge it and no orrange light tryed to turn it on it goes to the orrange flash screen vibrates and turns back off!!
Iv tryed a hard reset but nothink still getting the same! it still wont change! the laptop wont see it eaither as im guessing cos its not turnt on
please please plase hoping someone can help
Take out the battery and plug it in. The orange LED should be on for a couple of seconds, if that doesn't happen, then the device might be broken (use you warranty...)!

It does come on for a couple seconds?? what do i do now?
Then I guess it's just the battery. Get a cheap one from eBay and try it!

Ohh right that easy?? and to think i did a hard reset and probley lost all my stuff
It also does the orange light for a few secs with the battery in???
Got my new battery and doing the same ???? what eles could it be? was working fine! then battery went dead over night! and now i get just the orange screen then it goes off!
Alright well im new to this site so bare with me... I have an Rooted Htc Evo (if helps any) with no other type of ROMs( if helps any ha). I let my phone die completely while i was texting, now it wont turn back on. I cant do a Hard Reset (Volum down+power) because my phone does not response in any way. Oh and when I charge it the little Red led light at the top wont come on! My Question is.. Has anybody else ever had this Problem and if so Please, Please HELP...!!
Another thing, i dont want to take it to sprint because i heard you can get in trouble for having a rooted fone or sum like that! Ive tried taking battery out+ letting it sit for about 3hrs without it... battery in the freezer... hard reset ( but does not respond in any way... letting it charge ( evn without the little light on, and i know theres nothing wrong with the charger or the little port to the phone)

Yea man, I am in the same boat as you right now. Phone has been working awesome for the year that I had it. This morning I downloaded peggle from the amazon app store, started the app, shot one ball and the phone powered off.
No dice on the power lights. No booting. The closest I can get is the white screen that says HTC Evo on it. It flashes on for a split second and then dies out again.
I am assuming the phone is bricked? Probably headed to Best Buy tonight to have it swapped out. I have my insurance through them.

yesterday my 8x suddenly Died out of nowhere.. Battery was about 70%.. want to have a look at it and nothing happend. Tried all combos of keys ( Vol down+Power etc) but nothing happend. When i connect the charger the charging LED stays off. Wanna know if someone had the same issue and how to fix it,if possible.. seems that the device is bricked,but dont know...

same problem It's completely dead. Won't turn on at all, I've tried all the key combinations.
Charge light doesn't even turn on... Does someone know what to do? Is it even possible to flash with it not able to turn on?

dont think there is anything to do. have sent it back to provider.. Flash is impossible cause u dont get any reaction when u connect.

I had this same problem with my device already TWICE..... in two weeks. I bought my phone, installed what i need.... in first week phone got dead overnite.... no charging light, no reset, nothing.... I put in on warranty repair.... after it came back the statement said that what I said did not appear so they reflashed it to newer ROM only....how I don't know when the phone was completely dead... I again installed all I need a next week after happened the same!!!! At evening phone was charged full and at morning it was dead. So second time i put it on warranty repair and they said that is my problem, that I should not install any another apps from MS store !!!! I mean what the F**K, I buy overexpensive phone and I should use it without additional apps from MS store??? then I need only Nokia from 1990 and I'll be set to phone and write sms My 8X is still in repair so we will see what will happen next time.... but to say truth, I'm fed up with this phone already...

over two days the battery ran down prematurely and then refused to charge no charge light phone dead. htc less than helpful now begins the nightmare with Kogan support

I searched for died 8X Phones. I have the same problem TWICE with my HTC 8X.
The firstdevice is ran 6 weeks, then the repair center has replaced my phone with a brand new one. After 2 weeks exactly the same problem (no function, no loading, no reset, no connection) with the second one
Have anyone an idea which function or app the phone lets crashing?
I woke up this morning to my HTC 8X being powered down when I know it had at least 45% battery. When I tried to power the device back on it would not come back on. I contacted HTC and they told me to press camera button+vol down+power for fifteen seconds and when the device vibrates to let go of the power button but keep the camera+vol down buttons pressed, when I attempted this nothing happend so the HTC representative on the phone advised me to just send it in for repair. I've owned the phone for a little over a month and a half, was on the latest firmware, and had the phone protected with full body invisible shield and HTC doubleshot case.

Since about the last month every time my battery dies completely it takes for ever (at least a couple of hours) before I can turn it back on.
When I plug it into the charger the orange light that is supposed to come on when it charges doesnt come on.
I have unlocked the bootloader and am running the Viper One S rom with CWM.
Do you guys think this is a software problem or is it the Hardware ?

Ya the phone just don't like running out of power and you lucky something worse hasn't happened.
I Have been using the H950 AT&T since almost a year now .3 months back the phone stopped to boot up or was in an boot loop .It worked only when plugged in .So I replaced the battery And it worked fine.
But from last week the phone has been dead completely .If I plug it in it sometimes shows an battery with a question mark inside a triangle other wise it's always lights off.
Any idea what the problem could be ? Battery or motherboard .I am currently outside US so warranty Is waste .any one with same issue ?any solution ?Please help .

The battery is dead i guess..
Open up ur phone and remove the battery and charge it externally...
May be it will revive our else it is motherboard/power ic problem
