Hello, with this being my first post, I just wanted to say I just picked up the HTC One M8 on Verizon a couple of days ago and I am loving it! (I came from an Iphone 4s.) I used to have windows phone back when "Mango" was just coming out. I was told i should switch to Iphone at the time so i did......big mistake. So I am back and was just wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks I should know, thanks!

hey i have a brand new hd2 i been using for 4 days i love the phone everything about it is great..but im just used to android more...me working all the time i cant really sit and get into the phone.....if anyone is intrested i can send it back and get a brand new one that hasn't been open just as long as the nexus is in perfect condition and has everything with it......thanks

Okay, so I'm eligible for an upgrade from T-Mobile tomorrow, and can choose any phone I want, and I am wondering which one would be best for me. Obviously, I'm looking for some sort of smartphone but I'm wondering what you guys think. With my last purchase, I found out how quickly I got outdated (yeah, G1) without root. So, what do you guys think?
(I've had my eyes on the G2 for a while. Opinions on it?)

if ever i have posted in the wrong thread, please advice and transfer.
Here is my dilemma,
I bought this iphone 4s clone, i think taiwan made(thats what the seller told me). been looking around the internet for how many months now on how to know what ROM i need to upgrade my iphone 4s clone but to no avail.
here are some description on this iphone clone that i have.
i attached the pics that came from my phone using the moborobo screenshot.
i already rooted the phone, installed CWM recovery and so far, this is the only things that i am capable of doing,
i have no idea what ROM to upgrade to since i dont have any idea what specific iphone clone this is.
So if ever someone can help me, i would gladly appreciate it. thanks again!
i also tried ROMS that came from goophone y5 = no joy.
ROM from mayiandjay = still didnt work
I don't think you can do anything abkut it. 2 Ghz Cpu? 320 x 480 resolution and Android 5.1.1? That's weird

I have the same phone. I cant root it. I tried all methods i know. How did you root your phone?

I bought the HTC One yesterday, I got a good deal cut price of £210 I'm in the UK (London). I previously had the Nexus 4, but I wanted something better looking, this phone certainly fits the bill. I posted on the suggest device thread before, most recommended the HTC One a week ago.
Today, I'm reading some threads in the HTC One section and it looks scary the amount of problems all kinds people are experiencing.
What is the root of all these problems? Is it to do with custom ROMs? I'm a simple user, I've never used anything but default/STOCK what the phone comes with.
The phone is still brand new. Should I sell it next week, get my money back and buy a Nexus 5?
If I don't update to 4.4.2 will it be safe to use?
Please advise, asap, thanks.
I'm referring to posts like cracking sounds with the speaker, loud speaker turning on by itself, purple tint on camera.

If you don't mod your phone, it's unlikely you'll run into any of the problems people here talk about. Get the Nexus 5 if you want it, but don't sell the One just because people have a lot of problems with it. It's a really great device and you just bought it so not really worth it.

Hey everyone, was hoping to get some honest advice on a phone choice. Currently I have a galaxy s4, I've had it for about 8 months now and just don't like having it anymore. I un-rooted it (after having some trouble) and upgraded to lollipop from 4.4.2. I'm still bleh about it. Don't like touchwiz at all, got sick of it back when I had an s2. So I'm looking to get a new phone in a week or two and can't decide on what to get. There's not too much to choose from, I have AT&T as my carrier so any of the droid phones are out of the question. Anyways, was just hoping someone could help me out. Thanks.
