According to someone over on the OnePlus forums, regarding the OTA coming out in the next few days.

And therein lies the problem. I'm on TWRP.
Can anyone confirm or deny that I'm royally screwed unless I change recovery?
If I do need to change recovery, where do I obtain the stock recovery? I can't seem to find it.
Also, I'm rooted, unlocked, running xposed, running busybox, and all that jazz. Would that be a problem?
EDIT: I think I've found the original recovery [here, I extracted it from the 11S zip]. Still, I'd like somebody to confirm whether or not I actually need to flash it, or if I'm fine on TWRP.

There is the OTA zip file on a famous blog that you can flash trough recovery, stock or custom as it is signed.
If you don't know what blog is, call the cops. :highfive:

he certainly has.. and i think that this might some build prop trickery/workaround to get 5.0 to work on the d850. that's my assumption..
Its a kit kat ROM just version 5.0 of rom

LRX21M isn't 4.4.4 or kitkat. js
i downloaded the file and extracted this. haven't flashed it yet because i don't know enough about it. but from my previous experience I've seen newer version builds labeled in the build prop as a previous version in order to get the software to boot. again js.
EDIT:it's NOT lollipop. i flashed it.

LRX21M is the build id on the build.prop.
For the folks that have flashed and are using this, how is it running? I've tried the other ports but have gone back to liquid for the time being.
Xposed not working kept me off of carbon, haven't heard much about the PA port.
Yeah appreciate you posting these but due to issues on roms that actually have continual development ongoing im hesitant to flash any of these

I'd suggest wiping the device and flashing the 44S fastboot images, that'll give you the latest official firmware.

Hi,
As Timmaaa suggested wipe the device and install CM11 again. You can check the information about **unofficial build** of CM12 in HERE . daleski75 is doing unofficial build for CM12 and he is releasing daily fixes. If you like to stay with CM12 make a post in that thread about this issue. I am sure he will get back to you.

He needs to identify whether he's actually running daleski's build of CM12 before making a comment in that thread though, there are multiple unofficial builds of CM12 available, not just his.

Somehow I couldn´t wipe the phone and reinstall
Anyhow, I googled CM 12-20141214 version and it seemed to be same as daleski75 unofficial previous version. Installed the latest one and now everything seems to work fine!

Twrp is the only recovery we have .... How would it be flashed any other way besides flashtool....You must be doing sowmthign a little off. Check your md5.... Full wipes....good luck

Ive been flashing for years, I dont know what im doing wrong, should i full wipe, (System, Dalvik, Cache, and Factory ) then flash the ROM, or is there something im missing.
Like Step By Step what should I do because none of the roms i flashed lollipop wise work.

Go to advanced wipe and wipe it all but not external SD. Keep your ROM on it and flash from there with your gapps. Update to latest twrp... Doesn't make sense that everyone else is booting up an running fine ...

If your not using twrp 2.8.2.0 from (androiduser001001100) then try it and full wipe. Let me know

Edit: got to the homescreen but basically is useless...mosy of the apps dont work, is it a kernal thing

You need to look at return to stock thread. Sometimes you need to go all the way back to the beginning. **** gets mixed up and then its never the same after.

Does qremote work with this ROM? That's probably the only thing keeping me on kitkat right now. I've tried ported apks for cm12 but the manufacturer list is always blank.

is there a way to get my moto 360 running on this ROM?
I have a lg g3 running v5.31 and my moto 360 keeps flashing connected disconnected getting absolutely no notifications.

I saw a thread for Lineage OS even for the Nexus 4. When does it come to our Pixel Device? Isn't the support for this device not as great for the Nexus Phones?
Starting out slower here, there are challenges with the new dual boot and some other additional things. Plus I am sure they already pretty much had all the other phones done.

I am anxiously awaiting LinageOS as well. I am a long time CM user and hopefully some there is enough similarity to keep me entertained. Well I have not used CM in about 2 years but thats because I've been using Blackberry. Man BB10 is pretty awesome but the lack of app support kills it. I loved the hub and that everything was a swipe rather than a push to click style.
I might try a DU rom or the Pure Nexus rom just because I think its going to be awhile for LinageOS to get a rom going on the pixel.
Nice to see there is a build up for XL users hopefully sailfish will get some love too?

I would totally do that, but since I'm really more a user than a developer ( i can barely unlock my bootloader and install a custom recovery, haha) i have no clue how to do that.
so..
Has anybody built this rom in the meantime?

Even if I see almost everywhere that marlin and sailfish are almost the same with only 1 difference (screen size), I can't find any working build. There were a few (like the one from invisiblek), but none of them was working. I guess the XL is much more popular (just like the opposite of my earlier thoughts). ? Until we get some dev support, we still have the Hexa ROM, which based on Lineage and works pretty well (even if the dev also does not own the device). ?
Sailfish builds resumed yesterday. Look in the XL thread.

It's in the XL forum and it's called lineage os
i am looking into getting sailfish (although i probably wont), but i can try and build lineage for it, for you to see if anyone wants to see if it works.
edit- seeing as a few of you have thanked this, i imagine you would want it, previously i had troubles, but im trying again.
i think i saw elsewhere, that there are already official builds, but ill carry on, i find this stuff fun!
edit- i can make the kernel, i can also build recovery (although no file is made ), but there is always an error to do with dependencies, probably because half the stuff is in marlin rather than sailfish, but im not good enough to know how to fix it, and i dont really have the time to enquire, but otherwise, you can probably find builds elsewhere.
