This rom has same bugs pike in frapetti's rom? Or some additional, some fixed. Would be great have information about difference

Sound doesn't work sometimes as in the ringer doesn't work as well? Or just the media?

whats the difference between this Rom and Team Canjica

When i flashed the last preview (20141512) i had no mobile data and i cant even install an app because it says app not installed whyyyyy

Error recovery (status 1) how to fix?

i have this problem too...
but i've installed the latest build that i downloaded today.
the problem is i can not install apps from play store nor local apk's on the phone.
i tried to delete my google acount and set it again.
i also tried to clear the play store data and google services data and nothing helped.
what can i do to solve that?

How often you are going to update GearCM? What happens with the updates CM is offering if we already have your version.?

gapps not installing
Every thing worked great but am unable to install gapps, I get failure status 6, I can't install any apk.
I have cwm, tried flashing the minimal and full gapps linked in the main thread .both failed .
Am back to cm 11 sadly .

can someone tell me once and for all the CORRECT RECOVERY that can flash this rom without any error 7???
my S4 is GT-I9500 running Stock 4.4.2
I've tested bunch of Recoveries from Philz, to CWM To TWRP, none work, would app appreciate anyone giving me the right Recovery that can flash this rom.

Used TRWP 2.8.1.0 with full full wipes except internal SD and external SD with no issues

I appreciate the link. I couldn't find it on official TWRP Site. they does not seem to officially support GT-I9500.

Is it possible to use my Xbox 360 Cable Controller with an OTG Cable on CM 12.1 ?
It worked perfect on Stock and CM 11 but on 12.1 it doesnt work

It's surely better, the official one is 3 months old and it has the strict mode bug, which compromises the stability a lot

Yeah did it already, but better i ask instead of making any mistakes

Now I got strict status and every seconds a google play service error :/
But my controller works, thx for this.

I don't know which error did you get (i know it's not ROM related because i've never heard such issue), but this is probably due to a bad installation (bad gapps package or modified system image, deleted/disabled apk or any other change)

Yeah I already got it, i just had to flash the GApps again and for some reasons I dont know, I had to Install SuperSU again/root.

I don't know why you had to install SuperSU, it makes no sense, the ROM already has a built-in root that can be enabled in Settings/Developer settings

I know but I used this method since I first rooted my phone and for me its good.

The unofficial cm13 rom will be converted to an official rom after the dev finishes taking out the bugs.

Its about the same , but I heard it has deep sleep issues in older builds , so try it out as newer builds are out.

I tried installing the nightly version of CM13, but I keep getting a "google play services has stopped" error. I flashed gapps right after flashing too, and no dice. It's kinda frustrating

Install nightly 25 then install vía ota the nightly 26

CyanogenOS Camera Next for OP 3

I was searching for a good working camera on cm13. I used it earlier on my Zuk Z1 and OPO. This one works really well on CyanogenMod. I just spotted this one. All thank goes to @thecoolkid.

When i Flash the capps with Official cyanogenmod nothing happens and the apps are still not there.

they also didn't worked with unofficial for me. How did you flashed it? I just flashed it after rom in recovery and it didn't showed me any error but when i booted up the apps were still not there

Can't get any C-Apps either

The only thing I like in capps is the Camera and the Gallery. And hey, what was this thread all going about? The camera does work better, less noisse than snap camera.

i had given the phone for battery repair and there turned out to be a software issue as well and when i got it back it had this software installed, so now i want to sell it off so looking to update it to the latest before selling it or keeping it as a standby phone

Of course not!
You always need an unlocked bootloader and Twrp while flashing zips,this ain't nexus my frand.

No,but you won't get OTA's as cyanogen server shut down months ago!
So you must have to flash lineage os (in order to make the device not obsolete and he'll(buyer) get updates too and you just have to show him how to proceed with updates on TWRP and that if any issue arises,he should contact you))and then sell it,although,I didn't liked the idea of selling such a beauty like Oneplus One.

Lol i do love this phone i have 2 of them at home lol, well im selling it because i need a phone with nano sim card as my standby phone so removing this
Will try to sell it as is or root it if the seller wants it

Yes, considering the fact that there is redmi 4 available at 7k,very good enough.
Although,to make buyer more protective,you should sell your device with Nougat on it.
It doesn't take much time to unlock bootloader,flash twrp and flash any OTA supported nougat ROM,see my updated post above,I linked you a thread.

So i rooted it and it's on cyanogen os 12 5.0.2 now, so now i can't flash a nougat rom directly right ?
How would i know which firmware to flash, damn it's been ages flashing stuff on oneplus one

or can i just flash a cm13 snapshot and then flash a nougat rom ?

so i could flash the rom but gapps failed, using open gapps stock package, got an error saying
insufficient storage space available in system partition. you may want to use a smaller open gapps package or consider removing some apps using gapps-config

No need to flash Gapps now,we are just flashing cm13 snapshot to be on proper firmware.Then while flashing Nougat rom you can flash Gapps(opengapps.org -arm-7.1.x-pico/nano).
