how i get recovery mod in galaxy sl?
volume up in my phone please help me+ powerbutton+ome button but it is not working

Power Off the phone first. Then :
For Recovery : VOL UP + OK (HOME) + POWER
For Download : VOL DOWN + OK (HOME) + POWER

you got your words jumbled up there
when you have your phone off, hold the vol up + home buttons, then press and hold the power button along with the other two. when the phone vibrates and the first screen display shows, let go of the power button and keep holding the vol up + home buttons. what happens?

no it doesn't work on my mobile it shows default popup screen

Hold both the Volume up and Volume down, the Home (middle button) and then the power button.

you cannot hold both up and down at the same time. they have different functions as seen in the post by arindam.

yes, assuming you follow my instructions, the first "default popup screen" will show as normally happens, stating that the phone is an sgs i9003, etc. that is what happens at the same time the phone vibrates to let you know it successfully started booting and to let go of the power button. so let it go and keep holding the vol up + home (ok) buttons! then what happens?

I think he is confused !!
I think he facing the same problem with me !!
I think he means when press volume up +home key+power
then the recovery mode is an original from android which is show on my device as Adroid recovery : so that there is no Choose ZIP from sdcard and other commands which is importand to flash new rom version.
In fact i need it show me the Clockworkmode recovery :
so I have to root my device first then you will get clockworkmode automaticly, right ?

No. there is nothing automatic with root. If you want the CWM Recovery, then you have to flash the CWM or the cf-root (universal or for your FW).

[Q] my phone won't respond

Hello falks..
my HTC one x phone won't respond ..
this happened when I maybe disabled one of the system features by the Carot app ..
Now when I open the phone, I get a BLANK screen .. and I can't access any of the phone features .. and when I press the power button, it just restart and the same thing happen again and again.
I couldn't upgrade the system through my computer, because when I plug it, it says CHARGE only ! and I can't change it.

Can you get into TWRP?
Hold the power button for ~10-15 seconds (lights should start flashing) and hold down volume down.
You can let go of power when you see the HTC screen, but not volume down

What ROM were you on? I suggest reflashing the ROM.
don't forget to flash the boot.img, then the ROM

[Q] stuck in black screen after update TWRP2.6.3.4

i just update my recovery from 2.6.3.1 to 2.6.3.4
but after its flashed
i turn my phone to recovery
its stuck with black screen
i press power buttom and try to connect with usb
its not response
what should i do now :crying:
(or just wait until no power ?)

Hello, did you find the solution, I have the same problem with the same phone

Driving me nuts!!!

Ok i unlocked my metro stylo4 and have been trying to root for the past few days...followinf the instructions on rooting with magisk, ive downloaded the apk and im supposed to install in recovery mode but my phone wont go into recovery now...all it will do is factory reset. Im holding down vol and power at same time then releasing and pressing power again when lg logo appears...what happened??

youe phone vibrate when booting up? release pressing power when it vibrate and keep holding VOL+ you don't need to wait for the logo

I did that and it brought me ton fastboot mode where i couldnt do anything and had to hard restart ...im bout to just give up...this apparently isnt for me

LG Stylo™ 4 | Metro by T-Mobile​ it is not VOL+ ... you should be pressing VOL- for recovery mode

Doesnt do that on mine..if i continually hold both buttons it constantly restarts my phone
