Guide: ASOP Status Bar/Pulldown on touchwiz! No Root! - Galaxy Tab 4 Themes and Apps

Note this is not my app! I'm just sharing!
Guide: How to get ASOP status bar on touchwiz? Kinda works Thought I might share!
1. Download this app from the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thirstystar.colorstatusbar
2. Enable the notification bar service and done!
So far it works on nontouchwiz apps so yeah. Its pretty cool though. On certain apps like the settings menu, it shows the stock touchwiz nonfiction pulldown. This is the only bug as this app works without root.
So far it works fine on my Tab S 10.5. Haven't tested it for any tab 4s but it should work on all tablets.

Good to know I was looking around the Google play store because I was bored and found that app. Definitely way better than touchwiz!

It is. I have I running on my S5 as well. Thanks again for the find.

Sorry, I don't like AOSP look. I have the status bar well themed through Xposed modules. I've installed, then uninstalled the app...
But I understand that, if you're not root and you like AOSP look, that's a good option!:good:

this is awesome!! man
we can fully edit the apk or customize it to make it look like lollipop... see this pic

[Launcher2 Mod]Hold app over deletezone to uninstall.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfhY9EBoPeA
This is another Launcher2 mod that I made. I took most of the code from Anderweb, but just made it compatible 2.1. Above is a video of it in action.
Here is an update.zip link
http://kmobs.scepterr.info/signed-Launcher2Deletezone.zip
It is only compatible with 5.0.6+ and does not work in conjunction with HelixLauncher
Awesome, very useful
Any chance you'll be making one for Helix Launcher 2?
i just tested it and it is already part of helix launcher 2!
Great, will test it right now...
Edit: Perfect!..works, a great addition to make things even more simple - great job !!!
Nice mod! #kmobsblurrycam FTW!
Thanks persiansown, works great. Any plans to enable this for desktop icon deletes?
Here is a transparent icon morph for this.

Also does not work in conjunction with the NexTheme goodies launcher for 5.0.6.
NVM, included already¿

Wow, I remember thinking about this a few days ago. I didn't know it was part of Launcher 2 already Thanks for this, although for me it's not as fast and "letting go" over the trash can doesn't prompt me to uninstall. I have to keep holding it over the trash can until it vibrates and then it'll prompt me to uninstall.
Nice Mod, works nice. Any chance of fixing the kmobs blurry cam. Check your acpu file

Nice! No plans for desktop icons just yet because I feel that could cause issues since you delete icons from your desktop much more often than your app tray
wooooow I just thinking how to do it without change the original Launcher
thanks man
hi persiansown,
is this mod dead, or any chance to get this for 5071 ??

[MMS Theme][CM9-AOKP-CM10]Mixer Transparent SMS/MMS with Animation [11/17/12]

Well one of the things I hate most is the ugly white in the MMS.apk..Of all the silly options like weather in pulldown etc thats included in CM9/AOKP I was hoping we could at least get a black background option but I guess its more important to see what temp it is outside or to toggle your swagger on/off.
So if you're tired of the ugly white MMS.apk thats clearly neglected then I have the mod for you. This is a transparent modded MMS.apk that is build off travp624's new Mms.apk which combines the best of cm9 and AOKP.
I hope you enjoy this..Just flash the zip in recovery or manually push the apk.
Thanks Section
killabyte at Rootzwiki for his guide because without it I wouldn't have been able to do it.
travp624 at rootzwiki for his new MMS base to use..He did a great job of combinging the best options of cm9 and AOKP.

My skill hasnt quite reached that level but I would hopefully love to make black/trans background as options in settings.
sounds great I´m waiting
Thank u!
Sweet! You are the man.
Unfortunately, I'm on a Skyrocket and the most recent AOKP build at the moment is b37. Figured I would try it anyways and neither pushing it manually or flashing the zip would work. I'm guessing there will be an update for my ROM here very shortly and I will try again.
btw, do you happen to know why it is that no one seems to be able to make the dialer or contacts transparent on CM9/AOKP? I've been trying to figure out how do to this for awhile and it seems like the only mention of this that I come across is in your Mixer ICS thread about how it's not possible yet. Do you happen to know what the issue is by any chance?
Okay, I'm on a b38 build of AOKP and this app is still refusing to install. Any ideas why that might be?
This is the ROM I'm currently on:

Awesome mod, works great on todays cm9 build.
Thanks

Hey, nice job.
I just tried to instal/push, but it gets black background, instead of nice themed.
But I need to ask if you can modify that app, to enable inserting new lines in an SMS?

It is now an option in the settings menu for the app in CM9. It's under "soft keyboard type."
I made an hdpi version of this based on the new CM9 Mms.apk but I'll wait until MrDSL gives the okay to post it or let him post it.
Is this compatible for DXLP9? because i install it thru root explorer and my stock sms is gone.

I just installed this on the latest CM9 and it works and looks great! It looks a LOT better than the stock CM9 one. It's just a shame the vibration pattern option is missing nice work though.

next version will have that option back..hopefully tonight.
Great Work !
Maybe possible some variants like 20% transparent only or stock line partitions instead of bubbles but in subtle dark form (grey-blue ics style) ...
Would love to have those ... even if it means donating
Another edit I recommend is to move the bubble arrow (pointing to the avatar) from bottom to top ... reason being for large messages or bubbles the arrow move down (away from avatar) and doesnt really give that feel ... if on top, they will always point to the avatar irrespective of message size !!
thanks MrDSL for this messaging transparent. i have been use your mixer theme too, downloaded it from playstore... nice theme also.! :good:

Themer App FINALLY *Officially* Compatible - 27 Aug 2014

I thought I'd share with everyone that the app/home replacement named THEMER is finally LG G3 Compatible as of today.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycolorscreen.themer&hl=en
If you aren't familiar, all you do is install the app, chose from one of over a hundred themes you like, and apply it. Widgets, backgrounds, everything on yours will look just like the pictures in the app gallery.
I've been using it for quite some time on my Nexus 5, and was happy to find out it worked fine on the G3 via restore from TIBU when I upgraded.
Doesn't work for me, can't get no themes. Says it's officially supported but says me phone isn't compatible.

You have to be using a stock/oem DPI and navigation bar height. If you change either, it won't work well if at all.
I updated this morning and it is working fine for me still. Perhaps uninstall and reinstall?
Good news! Long time waiting! Works perfect here.

I had this problem are you using G3 tweakbox? if so go into it then the themes section then navigation bar and turn the switch to make it go to stock again, then reboot. This fixed it for me.

Ah, silly me. I changed the dpi back to stock but didn't think about the nav bar height. Thanks fellas ☺
I changed the dpi to stock with app settings module and still doesn't work hmmmm
So I changed the entire system dpi... But I couldn't get the nav bar transparent so
Once everything is back to stock you'll probably have to reboot

Can't I force it somehow to work on modified DPI and navbar? Stock is just too big. I suppose I could set a custom DPI for the launcher only via App settings (the xposed module), but can I do the same for the navbar somehow?
This is awesome! Thanks for the heads up! Going to take some getting used to not using the knock to unlock lol
Edit: hmm knock still works!

Nope.
Actually, the only other way to get it to work I read about in their subforums here. You have to change the DPI and Navbar in a manner that still gives you a supported resolution in the end. I don't have any problems with the stock nav bar, though I've got mine themed. some of the themed navbars have small buttons on them.
If you can install the app, you should be able to look at themes, you just can't use the Browse Themes/Trending/newest/Most Popular sections, When you apply others, they may not look right since your resolution is off. I don't think they plugged this loophole yet.

Don't know what the issue is. DPI has to be stock, status bar needs to be stock size and so does nav bar. If they all are, it should work fine.
If they are, and it isn't, you should post in their forums.

Well in the browse section it points out that I have the wrong resolution, it doesn't do it at the categories, but they don't show anything. What's the stock navbar height? 48p?

What I used to do on my old phone is set it to stock, download the theme and set it, then change my phone to how I liked it. Most of the time that worked just fine, pain in the ass I know but worth a go if you want themer.

Thanks Sir for ur feedback stay connected i'll update it
Thanks sir Update it coming with some GUI modifications
Lightweight I like it!
It is stable enough to use.
And here is the ideas for improvement:
1. App search. Because list can be long for some users.
2. Place for messaging and phone apps like any other launchers. If I had to call someone emergency it won't be cool if I can't find phone app
