Best way is to flash root supporting rom via SP Flashtools.

NEW RADIO FILE!
I flashed this radio file using THIS tutorial, it improved my 4G network, and somehow improved Gps.. somehow. Remember, Worked in Latvia, if you live in different country this might worse your results so you better do the backup first.
you just need to replace Imei at the end of the file, because using different Imei is illegal in some countries...

Good News, i recently flashed elephone P6000 preloader and lk.bin and it didn't brick, and even more good news that it booted lollipop http://bbs.elephone.hk/thread-2443-1-1.html but camera is not working. well the phone thinks that front camera is now back camera. So after all this it means that you can do firmware upgrade from Elephone P6000 and flash roms from it.

Hi bro,
First thanks for the tip off about the working touch in recovery It's very much appreciated :highfive:
Ok so as I understand your stock rom is 4.4.4 KK with no "L" update available from Just5
So you have flashed the Stock P6000 "L" Rom and all works except the camera seems to be switched front to back and vice versa
I assume you have tried the obvious like trying another camera app from play store?
Try flash back your stock lk.bin or flash the "L" version lk.bin if you didn't already do that then see if that makes any difference
I am sure I spotted some camera stuff in the config of the lk.bin
I could be wrong though as I have seen so much code lately things tend to blend into each other

1)You're welcome bro
2)Yap stock KK rom , still no one knows about L update for Blaster, maybe when Ota for P6000 comes out there might be update to L for Blaster, but as i said it's a big question mark. (source Just5 Support)
3)I personally have flashed Flyme os(v4.v5,v6( i think)) Stock P6000 8.3 rom (Full flash and format, Including preloader, lk, custom and so on.) and then update to 8.4 via Ota( which seems to stopped working right at the moment( network connection error) And then Android L( also full flash and format, Including preloader, lk, custom and so on.) Beta 2 and Beta 3.
I wish that it would be like that, atleast both cameras would be working, ( alright let me explain, right now only front camera is working, it can take shots with 6mp, and for example if i would like to take picture of my head, it would be upside down, and in many diffrent colours. the worst thing is that you cant even switch to back camera( thats why i think that phone thinks that my front camera is now my back camera, and my back camera is now my front camera, which isnt selectable) i hope i didnt confuse you even more, because at 3pm and 0 hours of sleep, thinking and typing is not the thing you want to think about
4)Yap i tryed many different cameras, no luck
5)intresting so do flash but this time instead of using p6000 lk.bin i use stock lk.bin, hmm revolutionary idea ( as i said i did Firmware upgrade with all the p6000 sp flashtool files (including Preloader. lk.bin, custom.img and so on.)
Tryed The revolutionary idea kinda failed, phone still booted, but camera styed the same.
Wait There has been Miui Ported for p6000? its my favorite rom, and of course has some big bugs, but still waiting with my fingers crossed

Hmmm
Even the Elephone as Stock has big problems with the camera mine too
Can you try it with the Auto Rotation OFF and see if that improves things a little
I think we may need to wait for Elephone to fix things in the stock rom first before we try track down your issue.
Once fixed we may be able to decompile the camera apk and remap the camera's :fingers-crossed:

You do know that the camera issue is only for Android L, right?
Yeah if we compare Just5 and Elephone stock cameras somehow Just5 won the round, i dont know why but camera on Just5 stock takes better pictures than Elephone stock. but still
My galaxy ace 5mp camera takes better pictures than on both phone stock roms, on phones with 13 mp back and even 5mp front camera,
And btw whats with the chineese apps in Beta 3?

Hi,
Yes I know. :good:
I have not flashed L at all so I can't comment on it really but I know the Russians are complaining about the camera on beta 3
My KK camera quality is rubbish as you say
Again I think it will be drivers issues like for our touch so lets wait for all the bugs to get sorted then look at your problem if it still remains that is.

Actually There is a camera patch from Just5 Blaster made by z0rgent its posted in 4pda forums. but yeah kinda new Soc and it might take time till all the bugs are gone.

Just to chime in I captured the OTA download address's and both are 404 now.
The camera fix from z0rgent is 1 lib and the blaster kernel (what can't that kernel do).
For the blaster camera; I would suggest comparing some libs against the P6000 but if works fine on Flyme etc ...
With beta3 the Chinese apps took me all of 5 minutes to disable; I didn't expect them at all - with Flyme sure, but not a beta L. Perhaps it indicates the intended us of /custom; individual apps for various networks (similar to the three version of Flyme; but simpler as those are three full ROMs).
Just had a thought... couldn't we house gapps in /custom - I think it's big enough - with L at least.

Well recently contacted Just5 support and yes they conformed that the will release Lollipop and its being tested, but the cant promise that it will updateable throught ota. in that case i will send it to repair centre to update and somehow will try to do full dump.
Labdien!
Šobrīd tiek strādāts pie Lollipop atjauninājuma un tas tiek rūpīgi testēts,pagaidām vēl nevaram apsolīt vai būs iespējams atjaunot ar OTA palīdzību.

Any news on lollipop update? Phone randomly shuts down, i hope that bug is covered.

Great phone, i have the V970 witch is the same on the outside, but totally different phone.
Yeah, the V970 (aka Grand X) has Tegra 2 chipset and less RAM (512MB.), the rest looks to be identical with the Grand X IN. Some people complain about the creaking back cover, but I havent noticed any problems with the construction. The edges are comfortably rounded, only the MicroUSB hole looks "low-cost" ZTE also promised Jelly Bean update which will fix the short touch buttons backlight. Intel was testing the JB update a few months ago, so it should be released in Q1 2013.
The application compatibility is ... almost the same as with an ARM chipset. Every app I've tryed is working fine, smooth and without lags, except Trial Xtreme 2 game which lagging like hell, video and audio too. Just a few minutes before I noticed some problems with Wifi internet, the connection looks stable, its not disconnecting, but the internet is working only for a few second in periods for example it works 3 sec. in 30sec. period. Strange. My wifi router signal is stable and strong, other devices are working fine. Yesterday and today I was on the same wifi too and without a single problem. Strange. Also once when I was copying a huge file from PC to phone via USB with MTP, the phone simply rebooted. I hope these bugs will be fixed in forthcoming FW update.

The V970 uses MTK6577 and 1gb ram. There is also Grand X Mimoza with the characteristics you wrote.
Overall, we have 3 phones that look exactly the same from the outside ( besides the sticker and the front camera on the IN), but totally different inside...
Anyway, this is Grand X IN topic, so i'll be shutting up now :silly:

WARNING(about custom ROMs):
As of now (23th December), at least in Polish version of Grand X In(4gb internal memory, no fmradio), there is no possibility to revert rom back to original one. If any of XDA users has any idea how to fix this problemm, please share. Also if you have noticed similair behaviour on other devices and there was a solution for it, please post it!
As far the following steps have been made:
installing Romanian/Norwegian/Hungarian versions of rom
restoring original recovery
changing build.prop to original one
editing build.prop and changing persist.service.adb.enable=1 to persist.service.adb.enable=0
It seems like device is not being correctly recognised while trying to switch back to original ROM(T-mobile PL version).
What I saw on some Hungarian forums, there is no problem with returning the original ROM. They also tryed combinating the Xolo X900s kernel and ROM with the GXINs kernel and ROM. X900s ROM was running good on stock kernel even if the resolution was different, also the BT/Wifi wasnt working.

Hi guys,

I'm really thinking about getting this device, but I'm waiting for some informations from xda developers - some custom roms etc. I have HTC HD2 for now, so I need device with a lot of customizations for example android 4.2
It's coming for me tomorrow ...can't wait!!!
Great Smartphone!
New good Android-Phone from ZTE for the good price. Great!
Unfortunately, I don't see any movement for this excellent phone from the developers in xda. Maybe they don't like the Intel processor?

Due to confusion and minor bugs that required some user input I have removed the TWRP version and replaced it with this SPFlashTool version.

This ROM is NOT a full Android upgrade so please make sure you are already on Android 6.0 (MM)

Sony id enabled (Allows you to install some Sony app's from the play store like keyboard)
Ported Sony Music Album and Video directly from my Sony C4 mt6752 device.
These are Just to name a few but has lots of other minor mods I have forgotten about.
Installing and things to Note:
MM TWRP is included in the ROM.
Please flash the entire ROM or I/we will not know whats causing the problems should there be any.
After the flash is complete boot to recovery ONLY and flash Magisk Latest Stable release HERE
First time boot takes 10 minutes so do not panic. As soon you see the boot animation go make a cup of coffee and wait.
It will boot guaranteed if you see the bootanimation. :fingers-crossed:
The reason it seems to take so long is that the boot animation continues until fully booted so you do not see the usual dialog box "updating app 1 of xxx" etc
Ensure you update Google Play Services via the playstore (Doing this First ensures smooth and uninterrupted updates of the other playstore apps)
Update all other app's listed in playstore/my apps
Note app's like trackid will only display in portrait as our device res is not officially supported.
Credit to HootanParsa for the Awesome file explorer his thread is HERE Please leave your thanks there too.
Ensure to check all app permission and choose the Pixel launcher as default.
See post #3 for instruction on hiding the SIM icon in the notifications bar.
Lastly But Most important please LEAVE SOME FEEDBACK
I know it will not be to everyone's tastes so feel free to mod add remove install what you like.

@bigrammy I'm sure it's on your to-do list, but how about, in the first post or placeholder posts, links to
- TWRP
- Original MM ROM
- Individual mods and/or guides to customisations/tweaks
Otherwise i guess they run the risk of getting swallowed up in the thread...Not that that has ever happened
Cheers

Hi chris5s,
Yes good point & I have been mulling this over since I started this dedicated MM 6.0 thread.
I really don't want to be dragged into the world of noobs and SPFlashtool, driver installation, flashing, etc as they will swear blacks white and whites black regardless of how well it's all explained. So I will put up the links along with a strong warning that I/we will not expand on SPflashTool drivers etc etc for installation of the Original MM ROM and TWRP recovery.
All the Best.
Edit: All Done anything I missed let me know.
@bigrammy Excellent work on the thread.
Since I don't have this tablet anymore, my information are probably not updated. This is an amazing device, and I enjoyed every bit of it. It's still running strong with my younger brother.
I shall put a link to this thread in mine so that people can come here for most current information.
Great job on the new thread, looks great and should streamline the process of the noobs and experienced alike find what they need and point them in the right direction. Great tutorial. The reason Android will keep growing is because of people like ones that have been involved with the dev work on this tablet, and all the projects here on XDA..
I was just comparing my A10-70F running 6.0.1 with my mother's which is on stock 5.0.1 and found that my screen was distinctly dull and grey in comparison. After removing f.lux and checking all the display and battery settings were the same I was stumped.
That was until I discovered that the brightness slider setting does absolutely nothing on mine!
Does it work for everyone else?
@mr-br working fine here :good:
@mr-br People with non-working brightness sliders on this tablet usually have enabled auto-brightness somehow, which does not work, as the tablet doesn't have an ambient light sensor. If you disable auto-brightness (for which you might need an app, as there are no controls for it in the standard settings app), then the brightness slider should work again.
Yes tx I found this seems to be a generic issue with this tablet. Found the app via a thread on the lenovo forum.
"I just installed the App "Best Display Brightness Level" from "Top10Labs" out of the GPlay-Store, then start it and uncheck the "Auto Brightness" tick Smiley Happy After that, i can use the built in brightness slider, even after uninstall the app Smiley Happy"
My screen still has rather a blue cast though ...

To which ROM do you refer??
If you mean the Stock then pretty much everyone I guess.
If you mean my custom stock then nobody has even bothered to report anything back at all.
I am pretty sure it would be just fine but until a few report back to it's OK I cant offer any Guarantees.
If your use to SPFlashTool then restoring the tablet would not be an issue anyway.
Yes, I do mean the stock Lenovo 5.0.1. Another question would be on your custom ROM 6.0, are there any issues for Tab2 A10-70F? As I have observed, you and others in Europe have the L version, which is not available to us in the US. Also, thank you for your hard work and guidance for the device, it is appreciated.

Most of us and me included are on the "F" version I think..
It is just that the L firmware also works on our F versions.
Maybe I should make it clear that my ROM is the WiFi version only as I stripped some of the RIL parts out of the ROM
Good news! I look forward to flashing your ROM and getting 6.0 on my tablet. Thank you for your patience in addressing my concerns and questions.

@LastStandingDroid hi there fellow. It seems theres been an update for this ROM but due to the boot.img patch on it, i cant apply it on UMIDIGI kernel. Can you somehow help adapt it ?
Here goes the link for the update:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzM6V55mbzNcSWFtNzRZNVVuVzg/view?usp=sharing
It says that it improves the display responsivness (probably solves the navbar ghost touch bug) and improves dual camera quality. Will be biting my nails for an answer. jk
UPDATE:
Imanaged to apply the patch with the gemini pro boot.img but as expected the display lags a lot. In other hand, i noticed that the camera is better but still worst than MM
hello guys , i tried to install gemini nougat like you say, replace kernel umz by mu z pro nothing to do at each reboot im on noa bootlook. I format i tried another time, nothing. Always. For information i install with twrp. A solution ?

Patches made for a specific device can't be applied on a phone with same soc since boot will differ. But it actually sounds like that improvement didn't do much? Best way to actually find if it's working as intended is to find full firmware of new update. If exist. But it sounds like you updated properly so it shouldn't be an issue?
What happen if you revert to stock umi z boot will display still be laggy?

If i revert back to umidigi boot.img, the device just gets on a bootloop. Its like if it is only ok to use one or another boot.img at raw system install. I cant give you a better feedback on this update since the display is way too laggy with ulefone boot.img. Its like with this one, the refresh rate applyed is above what the screen suports and does like some sort of agressive frameskip with some blur effect during it

Developers Please! please! please! Help us..The rom(lineage 14.1 & resurrection 5.8.5) provided for lyf wind1(ls 5010) has so many bugs. when turning on flashlight and playing video blue screen appears like blinking and front camera and video recording is not working. Another problem is music pauses when screen goes lock. so developer please provide a stable rom. I know how to port MTK roms, but i don't know proper guide for porting SD roms. I have tried a lot but it doesn't works. so please give a stable rom or tell bug fixing guide. Another thing I request to XDA that please provide a porting guide for SD410 MSM8916 including miui porting and nougat roms.
Lyf Wind 3
Since wind 1 and wind 3 does not have very dissimilarity since then wind 1 ROMs are not working on wind 3.
Please suggest me a device that is similar to lyf wind 3.
Please help me.
Thanks!
If anyone still wants the resurrection remix rom for lyf wind 1, then i have ported and fixed a few bugs.
[Bugs fixed :]
-volte calling is working fine
-removed the annoying notification "Device is HD capable"
-fixed video recording now it works
-fixed audio codecs
[Bugs still not fixed ]
-front camera doesnt work
-calls are disabled after a boot you will have to reboot again to enable it (even soft restart works)
And i am using this rom as my daily driver everything works fine except the front camera. Its been about 1 year now since i started using this rom.
If anyone wants it then i can upload the ported ROM
Its the same version of rr rom given in the post.
Please brother
I want this rom. Please upload it as fast as you can.I will be very thankful.

Stable LingeagOS requires stable stock firmware (at best, kernel sources).
Doogee fails to provide either! Nougat update for the Y6 (16+2) was too bad. Fortunately they fixed part of that problem.
I have been working on RR 5.8.4 based on kernel 3.18.35 (nougat kernel) for Doogee Y6. It boots, has sound, fingerprint, sdcard and camera working. But bluetooth and wifi wouldn't switch on (SELinux related issue).
I don't have a BL5000 and I dropped all LOS (based) projects for Y6.

Do you have anything on Y6 left on GitHub?
I may drop the BL5000 soon if Doogee don't atleast release the official stock Rom by themselves. The one available is stock Rom backup which works fine.
BL5000 Android 7 is stable and it came with Android 7 out of the box. It was interesting to know that they implement partition A/B in most of the BL5000 partition.

Not quite sure that OUKITEL K6000 Plus has 7.1.1. It came with Android 7.0 and still runs that.
FYI, OUKITEL K6000 Plus and DOOGEE Y6 Nougat software was compiled by the same software group (HCT Group).
Build device is: hct6750_66_n. That's why it was easy to boot K6000 Plus kernel on the Y6 after injecting its drivers (LCM, especially). So, if the K6000 Plus gets Android 7.1.x, the Y6 will have it too (or I will port it). Still is it that DOOGEE did a good job with Nougat upgrade for the Y6 compared to Y6 MAX/3D that still runs Android 6.0.

It works with the selfie flash. You can choose either the back or front (selfie) flash NOT BOTH at the same time.
There's also plenty of customization. Just try it
thanks alot will surely do..

Guys i am having difficulty Rooting my Doogee BL5000, i am getting to unlock the bootloader and installing TWRP but the phone wont boot after that, i keep having to Flash the firmware and try rooting again multiple times since i end up with the same difficulty
Actually it seems that after installing Twrp an rebooting, the OS is no longer Recnogised by the phone, also when i open TWPR its Asking for password, i entered the correct phone password and password fails, i think its having error and making TWRP not being able to Decrypt the Data... plz help... i really want this phone rooted

Use this method to root the phone: https://www.needrom.com/download/twrp-3-1-1-bl5000/
My BL5000 is currently rooted and everything is working ok.
Just after installing TWRP, you have to install SuperSU without rebooting the phone into Android: Boot into TWRP again, install SuperSU and then you can reboot your phone into Android.
The data partition asking for a password is solved formating that partition (bad solution, I know )
Wow.. didnt expect such quick response.... Thanks alot dude.. will try an give my feedback.. fingers crossed..
