***How to Root & Un-Root LG Esteem Optimus MS910 GingerBread 2.3.4 Metro PCS Easy***

The Exploit was released from UnRevoke & AlphaRev and Original XDA Thread. For many Android Devices that are mostly on Cellular carriers like Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon etc; But have not Rooted a Metro PCS device before until the opportunity presented itself.
I had asked ?'s and one them here at this LOCATION and reason for me to start this new thread.
The Guys at AndroidInvasion Send Credit's to UnRevoke & AlphaRev and used the Exploit to attain another easy root method called "One Click Root!"
I don't have too much experience with "Metro" Android Devices But willing to find out, the goal here, "Gain Root access and Tethering through 4G."
I first searched XDA and nothing on this model, asked questions and was told there is no forum for this model as of yet I will be honest and just say "It's Just Unpopular model?" So this lead me too post this thread since there is nothing on XDA, credits given above already.

***How to Root***
The website has a good host for downloads and your able to get both files needed from the link below.
1. Download Drivers and Install on your machine
2. I download the "windows" method since I am using XP(Supports 32 and 64Bit same file)
3. Extract and Run.bat file, done!
For Linux and Mac user's are still under construction the last time I was there, but could be wrong. If site files, links are broken mirrors down below.

***How to UnRoot***
If you wish to unroot your phone because you want to take into a MetroStore for repair or for whatever reason. On your phone settings go to Privacy and select Factory Data Reset. After doing this your phone will reset to factory state and will no longer be rooted.
Your Warranty has now been restored!

I remember doing one a while back with no problem but know i have this problem...

Firmware might be new as you stated, are you on the same as the info on the screen shot?

this worked perfect on my lg esteem version zvb.. if u have a zvc version you will have to downgrade it to root it . make sure u extract the root program to a folder on your desktop and then run the program

Will use it later this week and feedback. I would fancy some advanced partitioning options automatically setting it for ICS or GB as well as recovery features to avoid completely the cwm routine... Just wishful thinking, you asked for ideas

Can't install. It comes ins a *.01 extension and it just crashes m Winrar. What am i doing wrong?
Edit: Ah, 7zip! I must know it, but, by the way, is this the right tool for those who want to unbrick their Zte that had a Bad Cyanogenmod 7 flashing? A friend gave me his bricked one expecting i can fix it.

thnx after unzipping the file i run the exe file but nothing happened flash recovery, reboot the phone, reboot into recovery, etc..................

I did not know that there was an AAHK2 out there right now! Would you allow me to possibly implement it into my Toolkit for future versions? It appears to be even simpler than my method. :fingers-crossed:

Thanks for this software but I am having the DHD and its already rooted with s-off, but my problem is I have s-off RL . And I want to get rid of the RL so that I have s-off only. How do I go about it??.

Method 1 (Revolutionary) should allow you to attain S-OFF without the wire trick.

The following post will guide you into successfully rooting the HP 7 Voicetab
Since there is a lot of confusion in HP's models .... Check if you own this exact model See attachments

Before we go ahead with the rooting procedure :
1. Please make necessary backups.
2. This works on the HP 7 Voicetab 1351ra .

3. This guide is not the only way to root the device. But it's the only one till date and the easiest.
4. I have tried and have successfully rooted the device .
5. I am not to blame if you screw up and kill your device.
Please read up on pros , con's and risks of rooting before doing this.
Steps
1. Enable USB debugging . (If u don't know what this is then u probably shouldn't be doing this )
2. Download the attachment.(Note that I am not the developer of this app)
3. Install the apk.
4. Google will warn you of the risks (Read it) and proceed .
5. Open the app and press on the Green Button . (See attachment 2)
6. Wait till u get a Green Tick . (See attachment 1)
Done
You should now have a new app called Kinguser which basically acts as a Superuser .
Proof :
If u want sdcard write permissions install KitKat sdfix from Play Store.

Bingo now the newer version of KingRoot app did the job..

My hp7 voicetab had screenlock problem. Usb debugging not checked and no data connection. I've tried to enter recovery menu but it says no command. And tried fastboot and uart but not detect in adb devices. Please help. How to factory reset and driver please...
