Unfortunately it was a private test by IEF n me, so its still not available to the public yet, but I think that will change pretty soon.
But at least you know now that it will be supported soon.

Yes and no. As soon as you decide to flash a stock RUU that has a HBOOT update in it, this hacked HBOOT will be overwritten.
You do have the option to remove the HBOOT update from the rom.zip inside the RUU. Since your phone no longer checks signatures, you could easily do that.
Also, you then still have the option to flash custom recovery, or different kernels using the fastboot functions described above (fastboot flash, et al)."

HBOOT is downgrade protected. You will be required to flash a 'downgrader hboot'
(to be released at a later time), and RUU, which will make it stock S-ON.

The exploits used are undisclosed at this time.

The enterprising folks over at XDA-Devs have managed to make the life with your HTC handset a bit easier, outing v3 of the HTC Super Tool. The software is supposed to root, S-off, and unlock the bootloader on many popular HTC devices, like the HTC Sensation 4G or the EVO 3D.
The developer FRIGID says that theoretically it should work with all HTC handsets, as their firmware structure is similar. You need a few driver and software downloads, as well as well-charged battery, of course, as in all such cases, but other than that, the instructions in the source link are pretty straighforward.

In other words, there is an update for the stock roms from TMO. I am rooted with H_boot at 18. will this software help me update and keep root?
and, I see someone has updated and lost root on re-boot. does this mean its a teathered root? Meaning me need to boot with our computers in order to keep root alive?

I have rooted my old Wildfire two days ago with Revolutionary: http://revolutionary.io/
If your HBOOT is 1.01.0001 it must work...

thx, I might wanna try it again with revolutionary, few months ago I tried several things which didn't work for me.
But Revolutionary will only give me root, not s-off, right?
It gives S-OFF, too.

It is base on WWE INTERNATIONAL BASE. I've test it on International, but should also go on all Carriers but i'dont test it.
FOR NOW USE IT ON INTERNATIONAL VERSION.

Tomorrow i can add sprint support And Others carrierd, FOR NOW USE WITH INTERNATIONAL DEVICE.

Hi. i cant get into TWRP. After cell reboot all i can see is dead droid icon and no command.
This is nice utility to unlock bootloader in few mins. It helped me a lot. So simple and handy.

Only thing that worked was unlocking bootloader, but after that nothing. Installing TWRP failed, error message said something about a size missmatch. Help?

Is there anyone that can confirm for me that this does in fact work on the cricket version of the moto e (xt1527)? Only reason I ask again is I was under the impression that the bootloader isn't unlockable.
I tried on my moto e but says bootloader cannot be unlocked which I have the xt830c and i seen its unlockable

WinDroid Toolkit v3.0 has been released! It's a huge update with a material redesign, major recode and support for 43 new devices!

You can download the new update here.
All versions before v3.0 will not have their files updated anymore since I've moved from hosting on BasketBuild to Amazon S3. Please update to v3.0 to ensure you're getting the latest recovery and root files!
