Currently on CM11s with Multirom installed and installed cm12 as secondary but keeps rebooting into recovery when I try to reboot in CM12 !
Any solutions ?
Latest multirom,recovery !
I had the same thing happen to me. I think it had to do with not having the correct kernel. Cm12 needs the AK kernel (I think). I saw posts like this ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/multirom-cm12-t3020328) but didn't fully understand how to get it to work.

I had the latest version of CM11 on my Opo 64 GB, was also using Multirom and Miui 4.10.24.
Tried to install the 4.10.31 version, but i did it wrong (i did not go into TWRP, then Multirom, add zip and install, but i just selected install rom and flashed the 4.10.31 zip file).
Now, the main CM11 OS is lost, i cannot boot into it, and i cannot also boot into MIUI.
So, how can i get my CM11 back?
I tried flashing the official version but it gives me error while trying to install it through TWRP.
Also if i reboot the phone and try to choose the MIUI it says
"error, kexec-hardboot support is required to boot this rom.
install kernel with kexec-hardboot support to your internal rom.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes I can, managed to install MIUI only, latest version.
I also installed Multirom again (on MIUI) and it downloaded cm11s kernel).
Ok managed to go back to my old miui os, now I have 2 miui os and no cm11, also downloaded the Franco kernel 30. How can i check if the cm11 that i had before is still there, if not how can i install it again without screwing my already working miui?
update:
After some tests, this is what's happening.
I believe I have no CM11S on my phone, that is gone!
I have the MIUI V5 running, but when i flash the franco kernel, the phone is stuck on boot (1+1 logo), i have to flash the kernel_kexec_bacon_cm11s to make it boot in MIUI (working).
So, now i have a working rom that works through Mutlirom and I cannot flash a working CM11S rom on the phone.
Any help would be great guys!
Hi. I'm on CM12 now. And it has Cm recovery. Cm recovery is a crap so i wanna running twrp on this. How can i find a twrp?
Edit:I learned a lot of things since than i have posted this.
Hey, just flash fotakernel for z3, you can find it on androplus kernel thread
Correct me if i am wrong. But doesnt he need to flash the kernel again every Nightly? And does a kernel from another developer make sense in a Nightly Test for CM12?
Does anyone know a really Solution or this without a third party kernel?
TWRP FOTAkernel has nothing to do with the kernel itself. The FOTAkernel partition is solely for recovery (at least the way its used by us). The kernel by CM won't get overwritten when flashing this, plus the FOTAkernel recovery will survive flashing CM nightlys (or any other ROM) as far as I know.
Can somebody confirm it is working with CM12 and Z3? In the Description there is a warning to install it on custom ROMs.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3028846
If you're talking about this one, then you misread it. It's for custom ROMs only. Don't confuse it with AndroPlus kernel. Just flash the one I linked with the terminal way described in the thread. I can confirm it working on CM12.
EDIT: This thread has a good description of FOTAkernel as well, so read it if you want to know more about it
Hi All,
I have XT1033 Dual Sim (Currently running CM12 Official Build - Latest Nightly).
I tried to install Android 5.1 based roms like (Team UB rome and unofficial build of CM12.1). I alo flashed the Gapps (Android 5.1) I used Philz recovery to flash the same.
Flashing was successful. But when I come to the setup part then i got error "com.android.phone has stopped working" at language selection page.
After that i come to the wi-fi selection page. There i selected skip and i got error "Setup has stopped working". and it again redirect me to language selection page. I get stuck in the loop.
Could anyone please help me to resolve this issue on XT1033 Dual sim device.
Hmmm... Strange. You see did you have trouble flashing CM12? If you didn't, try a different recovery (providing you know how to install)
Sam.

I tried both Philz and TWRP recovery. Both of them giving me the mentioned error after flashing and the booting of ROM
Did anyone try installing android 5.1 rom based on CM12.1 in XT1033 Dual Sim.
If yes, could you please provide me the recovery.img file you are using for this.
Is this problem because of i am at CM12 and then trying flashing CM12.1 ROM.
Do i need to go back to Stock 5.0.2 and then try to install CM12.1 rom.
I have build from source CM12 and when I flashed the ROM it is in an infinite loop in the GOOGLE logo. I have done everything correctly.
I installed a CM12.1 build and there is no problem.
Flashed factory images of 5.0, 5.02 an 5.1.1 and then flashed my build but still it is in loop. No problem when I flash a CM12.1 build.
Can you point out what I did wrong ?

If you built from source with no modifications, it should work fine provided that you are installing it on top of the same version of Android. That means if CM12 is 5.0.2 you probably have to install it on top of a fresh install of stock 5.0.2 or some 5.0.2 ROM.
You should also wipe data and dalvik (you probably did seeing as you claim to have done everything correctly).
