Even With 5.0.2 i am still having old issue of streaming music in the car. The audio still skips. Any suggestion for that ? Expect that Cm12 5.0.2 is running smother than before.

Can you update using CM updater?
I can't, every time I update, it does reboot, but the version of the rom is the same. I have to manually install downloaded zip using recovery.

CWM is not the same. CM Recovery is the new recovery developed by Cyanogen.

It works with CM recovery and also with TWRP. Is CM12 no more compatible with CWM or there is just a problem with my device?
On their wiki page the CWM recovery is still the reccomended one: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_hammerhead

CWM is outdated since Jelly Bean and this wiki page too
TWRP remains the more powerful and updated recovery for Android.

Sounds are very low with the last update. Notifications, messaging and charging sound, very very low. Nightly 10/02

Give more details... Maybe it's caused by the new bootloader.

signature verification issues
When I attempt to flash this rom onto my p905v using any version of odin (I have tried 3.04, 3.07, and 3.09) I am getting this error:
secure magiccode check fail.
I also tried install this using adb sideload and I am getting a signature verification error when I do that. Did anyone run into a similar issue with this device? Thanks I really appreciate any help.

It seems like you're using a different Odin than the one that made the hash, most likely older. However, just take the .md5 string away from the filename and flash it as .tar instead. Unlress, of course, your file is from an obscure source.
Thank you
I am using Odin 3.09

[Completed] CM13 Comparing TZ Version, assert failed Error 7 while Installing latest Nightly

Hi, noob to CM13. Currently have cm-13.0-20160604-NIGHTLY-Z00T running on my Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551KL). I have been trying to update to a newer build with no success, any build newer than 6/14 fails, and 6/14 itself is horribly unstable. The error message from the log file is as follows:
Comparing TZ version TZ.BF.3.0.C3-00025 to TZ.BF.3.0.R2-00064script aborted: assert failed:, asus.verify_trustzone("TZ.BF.3.0.C3-00025") == "1"
Comparing TZ version TZ.BF.3.0.C3-00025 to TZ.BF.3.0.R2-00064
assert failed: asus.verify_trustzone("TZ.BF.3.0.C3-00025") == "1"
Updater process ended with ERROR: 7
I:Legacy property environment disabled.
Error installing zip file '/data/media/0/cmupdater/cm-13.0-20160704-NIGHTLY-Z00T.zip
By the way, I am using TWRP to update.
From my google searches, other people have claimed this is an outdated firmware problem, but I couldn't find anything on how to update my firmware.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

AOSP Binaries for Nougat (7.0) posted. AOSP possible?

Sony uploaded the binaries for multiple Xperia devices, among others the Z3: http://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/list-of-devices-and-resources/
The build instructions can be found here: http://developer.sonymobile.com/ope...uild-aosp-nougat-for-unlocked-xperia-devices/
Does this mean, we can build AOSP now? I'd like to try out myself, but I won't have access to my PC for a couple of days. Has anyone else tried building and flashing it?
Edit: The Nougat binaries seem to point to the Marshmallow ones. Is this right? Pinging @jerpelea.

I think that the good binaries, if you read, you can see that behind "Download AOSP Nougat (Android 7.0) binaries" it read please download Android 6.0.1.
Dumping insights as I try to build it myself.
If you get the error "unknown target -j", try setting the number of parallel processes via environment variable:
Code:
export MAKEFLAGS='-j8'
If you get Out of memory crashes with jack, try the tip from https://android.googlesource.com/platform/prebuilts/sdk/+/master/tools/README-jack-server.md:
Code:
jack-admin stop-server
export ANDROID_JACK_VM_ARGS="-Xmx4g -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -XX:+TieredCompilation"
Built the Rom, tried flashing it via fastboot which failed with "FAILED (remote: size too large)" and the phone was stuck on the Sony logo. I finally managed to boot into flash mode and reflash N Preview 4.
Next, I added
Code:
BOARD_SYSTEMIMAGE_PARTITION_SIZE := 2143289344
to the BoardConfig.mk in /device/sony/leo and built again. Now I was able to flash system.img.

It's stable, but RIL and camera are mostly broken. The issues are discussed here: https://github.com/sonyxperiadev/camera/pull/20#issuecomment-244609398
Four days ago, Sony Developers posted the ZIP of Android 7.1 binaries for Xperia X devices. Knowing that X and Z devices shared the ZIP of Android 6.0.1 binaries, it will be possible to use this on our Z3 device? This is the link: http://developer.sonymobile.com/dow...oftware-binaries-for-aosp-nougat-android-7-1/
if there is interest I can make a build with GApps pre installed?
Would it be possible to build android 8.0 now for this?? Via the oreo build instructions?? https://developer.sonymobile.com/op...-build-aosp-oreo-for-unlocked-xperia-devices/
Edit: well just noticed kernel 4.4, so guess not, sad

[GUIDE] [VIDEO] Properly Install Custom ROMs on Mi A1 !!

I've seen lot's of folks getting messed up while flashing ROMs on the Mi A1, probably because of the A/B partitioning system (maybe) so, I've made a video on how to flash custom ROMs on Mi A1!! You can watch it here! :good:

Thank you!
Works fine if you have TWRP already installed ...
But coming from Stock there is no TWRP.
Maybe you can add the missing parts (unlock bootloader, install TWRP ...)
