My tablet is stuck in a bootloop and since I had never connected it to the PC before I haven't turned on "USB Debugging Mode" .
Is there any way that I can connect my tablet to the PC without this option being selected so that I can try a factory reset.
Also it is an unbranded tablet so none of the shortcuts (eg. hold power button and vol+ ) work.
Any help is appreciated thanks.
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately there's really not much we can do when it comes to unbranded devices such as this, there's just no information available for them which makes them pretty much impossible to troubleshoot. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Good luck!
All I know is that its a Chinese tablet KV78PH-21. Is that of any help to you?
Unfortunately not, like I said there's really nothing that we can do to help you unfortunately. Sorry, and good luck with your phone.
Thread closed, thanks.

Firstly, sorry for my poor English.
I don't know what led to this problem...Because I can connect my phone last night. However, when I wake up this morning. I cannot syn my phone with the computer anymore, by all means.(I have searched the internet and couldn't get a workable solution.)
I think the problem may lie in my HD mini as I can connect my P4550 to it.
Need your help, thank u!
Welcome to forums
have you tried to uninstall/install the active sync/WMDC app on your computer?
You can also try to soft reset or hard reset your device
Hope it helps,
Hello, I own an Acer E210 and the screen has stopped working. I recently reset the phone not realising that I would have to touch the Android to continue and now I can't because the touch won't work. Would like if you guys could help me out with this. I don't mind doing anything with the phone which makes it work. Rooting and everything is alright. But the again I don't have an account to download anything from Google play because I reset my phone.
Thanks
Ankur

I'd suggest enabling adb debugging if possible and hooking up a screen-casting program of some sort, which would let you use your computer's mouse to simulate touching the screen. or if you have access to a USB on-the-go cable, that would be even easier. if you're not sure what that is, just type "USB on-the-go cable" into google search.
Hope that helps, best of luck.
Ok, I've been at this for two days now. I'm trying to get an S4 to display on a computer screen so it can still be used until the owner can afford a repair.
The screen isn't cracked, but the LCD and Digitizer are completely broken. The phone still functions when connected via USB.
- side note, my phone is currently in the same condition but before it went down I had it rooted and put into debugging mode. I was able to accomplish this feat without an issue, from my phone.
Okay, so the phone I'm currently trying to get this to work on:
1. Isn't rooted
2. Screen is black and no touch response
3. Not in developer mode, not set for debugging
4. Computer can recognize phone via USB
5. Able to still install apps from the goggle play store via the website
Goal: get it to be able to mirror/display on a computer
I've seen posts on the internet stating everything from impossible to no it's possible but we won't give you the details.
These things are basically handheld computers, even without it being "rooted" i should be able to access it in some way from a computer to put it in debugging mode even if i have to program it in myself. Which is why "impossible" is something I cannot swallow.
Any tips, advice or a point in the right direction here would be appreciated. Thank you.
-currently im trying out this Mobile Go program even with the phone not in debugging.
-I feel like there has to be a way to force the phone into debug mode even if you cannot physically use the touch screen or see anything.

Hello there.
I bought a fake Lenovo S820T phone from aliexpress and i was really positively impressed by this phone. The only drawback was that this phone ROM had malware in it that was installing strange apps, displayed strange full screen ads from time to time and was doing strange things like opening browser and browsing for random stuff and also was connecting to internet by it self on data connection.
Few days ago Android blocked and i had to restart the phone after which i can only see several messages "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped." after the Android starts and the whole screen is black... nothing except when i hold the power button i can see the "Power off" and "Reboot" menu... I tried to do a factory reset but this doesnt fix anything, after the factory reset and after the phone reboots its the same black screen and the error messages... I found the ROM so that I can reinstall it using the MTK droid tools but I cant connect to the phone since i had the phone set on "charge only" from the usb options... btw its 4.4.2 android version.
Can anyone tell me how can I connect the phone so that i can use the mtk droid tools to reinstall the rom on it or if i can do anything else to restore the phone?
Thanks in advance and best wishes.

Today, with my Samsung Tab A, I have accidentally gotten my tab on bootloop. Although I was expecting it soon, as it is rooted, and I've been doing some crazy operations. Unfortunately, the device does not turn off, but if I do a reset, by pressing all of the buttons, it restarts the device and continues the bootloop. I try to put it in recover mode and safety mode, but after pressing the correct buttons, nothing happens, as it does not turn off. It does not connect to a laptop, or any other means. It is so awkward as well, as I had 100% charge.
Is there anyway how I can recover my device? Or should I just take it to a shop to try to get it fixed. Or just end up buying another device - which is my last resort.
Thank you for reading, any response is very appreciated.

Greetings and welcome to xda, if you can't get it to connect to the pc then I don't know of any other way to rescue it. If factory reset doesn't work and you cant connect to the pc to use odin or kies/smart switch then I think you will need to take it to a service centre
Good Luck
