[Q] Errors after updating CM12 nightly (cm-12-20150301-NIGHTLY-taoshan) - Sony Xperia L

Hi,
I had CM11 latest nightly when i received CM12 nightly. I downloaded and updated my phone from within CM11.
Now, I and receiving "Unfortunately, ... has stopped [Report] [OK] " error constantly on Email, Google Play and different services.
Please suggest something to get me out of this.

Probably because you dirty flashed it. Try it with clean install. And download gapps for 5.0.2

Ah, I posted about this not too long ago, and it seems no one read my guide. I faced the same issue you did, and by this method mentioned in my guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/guide-to-running-android-lollipop-t3041413 I got through it.

[Q] Help with Droid Incredible CM10.2. I'm really confused.

I have a Droid Incredible which I've been running CM7.2 nightly on since the last official one pushed out. This works great. I understand the principle of flashing the ROM, then flashing GAPPS.
Today, I've been trying to install CM10.2 with (Pons build, and yes I realize some things are broken), but I keep getting the following error after installation:
"Unfortunately, com.google.process.gapps has stopped"
None of the Google services (Play) seem to work. Is this expected behavior?
I have searched the forums, I have read all the stickies, I've googled myself to death over the last few hours.
This is the ROM I used:
cm-10.2-20131116-UNOFFICIAL-inc.zip
This is the GAPPS I used:
gapps-jb-20121111-PONS-signed.zip
I also tried this GAPPS:
gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
Thank you!

google play services causing problems on 4.4

I have tried cyanogen 11, and Lungo, and on both of those 4.4 ROMs I get an error after installing google play services. As soon as I install those, my keyboard reports an error, or my call app mallfunctions. Sometimes the whole rom crashes.
Could someone please pinpoint the problem for me, as I have tried latest TWRP and CWR recoveries to install the ROMs, cleaned every part of the phone before installing, and nothing seems to fix this problem.
ATTM, I'm on Lungo, and it worked perfectly till I updated google play with this crap.
Have you installed the current gapps for cm11? I think that could be the problem.
If the rom is 4.4.3 you need 4.4.3 gapps

[Q] Failed installing CM12

Hello all
I have XT1032 (GPE), and I had CM11 on it (nightly from 1106, I believe).
Today I downloaded the latest CM12 nightly (0115), and tried installing it from TWRP. The installation failed (I keep getting "Error executing updater-binary"), and I remained with no system partition.
I tried many guides and tips (the most promising one was this), but nothing seemed to work.
If I understand correctly, there is some problem in installing CM12 over 4.4.4 (from CM11).
I somehow managed to get to stock 4.4.4, but I'd much prefer to get back to CM11. However, all the download links on CM website don't seem to work over a week back, or something. Is there some other mirror with CM11 I can use, in the meantime? Maybe someone in here has a relatively recent CM11 zip file he can send me?
And what about a real solution to the problem? Is there a way to install CM12 on my stock 4.4.4? Am I the only one who got this error?
Thank you for your help.

m8 + CM12 nightly = setup wizard loop

I have installed more than one CM12 nightly on my m8 and I get to the point where I put in my Google account credentials and the setup wizard crashes. I then start over and it crashes at the same point. Has anyone seen this before? I have tried every version that is still available on the download page and they all do the same thing.
Can you skip adding your Google acct without the crash?
It's possible that the nightly build is broken - have you tried any other builds? Also, did you remember to install gapps as well?
the setup wizard is part of gapps so that's part of the problem.
I solved it by installing the CM11 milestone and setting it up then installing the Cm12 nightly. That bypassed the hokey CM12 setup wizard. I led myself out of the woods!

Nope. I tried that, too. See my previous reply for the solution.

Go to the m8 section and select stable category.

Unfortunately, Google App has stopped

Hey guys,
a few days ago and out of nowhere (haven't changed anything) my Google app stopped working. Everytime I only start the app or press on the search bar the app doesn't even show up - it just gives me the crash dialog. I tried different GApps and even clean flashed my ROM (Exodus 5.0 based on CM12). A friend of mine is getting the same error on CM12 nightlies. So it's not ROM related (but maybe CM12?). Have you guys got any suggestions?
Cheers
How did you solve the issue
