Would like to use Manual Camera and other apps that use Lollypop's Camera2 API, on my Samsung Galaxy Core LTE which is currently stuck at Android 4.4.2 with no Lollypop update coming.
Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Google Camera doesn't make use of the camera2 API yet.
You can try the L camera beta if you like (on github)
Hi All,
I wanted to know that Lollipop Supports Camera2 API which provides advanced support like Manual Focus , ISO and RAW Support
However , after upgrade to Lollipop , I don't see this Feature Enabled
Q 1 : What is the issue.
Q2 : Can we Unlock, Enable this feature by Rooting Phone or patching some file etc ???
I'm also interested in this, I did the test with the Manual camera app and it didn't pass the test (5.1.1)... Hope they get it right with Android M.
Anyone with the 6.0 beta could could check that? Thanks!

Hello! So, my android is running 4.4.4 (kitkat). I want to install some apps but they require android 6.0 or higher. Is there anyway i can install and run them? Like rooting it or something? (Its a samsung tab 4 7.0 lte) (sm-t239)
You have to upgrade to Android 6+ so the apps in question are compatible.
look for apk file on google that can do the trick
