An app compiled for Android 7 and higher never works on Android 6 and lower.

I need Rooting mobile (Huawei,...), Update to Android 8 or above system and Install developer xda (sim number) app

Hi forum XDA.
Nice to meet you.
Please. I want to install this app "SIM Number Setter"*, but I don't know what steps to take, how to do it. And what would be the best choice. Example, if is possible a Custom Rom or temporary live system as it happens to based Linux PC systems on PC.
* https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/app-xposed-sim-number-setter.4400131/ (author says that this one works to Android 8.0 Rooted or above).
I have available the mobile phone Huawei Y7 (2017) TRT-LX3 Android 7.0, and an oldie Samsung Galaxy S Duos Android 4.0.4.
After Rooting mobile I need Updating its Android system to 8.0 or above version.
Then I have to install Xposed o Lsposed module, and to install "SIM Number Setter" afterwards.
Regards.
