Hello there.
I've recently acquired a Huawei Honor 3x Pro G750-T20 and am thinking of hacking this device by means of reading posts created here, on XDA for my device.
Problem is, the thread for this particular model has in total less that 10 posts in 2 threads.
I figure that maybe, just maybe only a handful of people own this device in this world.
I've been going through a lot of guides here and on the net but there is none specifically for my device.
Also I've been looking at other models of the same brand and I found that the initial process before rooting is Unlocking the bootloader.
Now for this there are many guides.
And almost all Huawei phones(different models included) has the bootloader unlocked in this same manner.
Again, the problem I am facing is the exact model drivers for which I have searched, searched and searched but have not found till now. Not even available at the official website.
There were several recommendations to use PDAnet drivers which claimed as usable with my HUAWEI Honor 3x Pro G750-T20.
There is a possibility of bricking the phone if used different model drivers I hear.
I've also received the official bootloader Unlocking code from Huawei 3 weeks ago but until today I have not been successful.
Because my knowledge on computers is not superb I am facing a few glitches.
You see, I've downloaded adb drivers and the pdanet free application to my PC.
In command prompt:
adb.exe devices - it reads my device.
fastboot.device - it reads MT6592
But when I go to:
fastboot reboot bootloader - it becomes device not found.
Then when I type this:
fastboot. exe oem unlock xxxxxxxxxxxxx
(Official Huawei Unlocking bootloader 16 code)
it says - remote unknown command
Anyone reading this please give pointers
on what I am doing wrong.

Also right now is because it's late you won't break your device by installing the wrong drivers on your computer. And one of the best things to get the correct ADB drivers is to install pdanet. You got your unlock code your fast food command seems proper so I'll have to look into it more tomorrow when I have time. Welcome to Club huawei

There's also a program I recommend from huawei website called Hisuite. Install that on any Windows PC it should detect your phone and install the correct drivers it's also good for backing up stuff taking screenshots installingand uninstalling applications.

Here are some screenshots. And thank you for the welcome note.
Maybe you can find what is wrong by looking at them.

First things first perhaps as simple solution.... have you tried a different USB cable?
Sent from my HUAWEI Y536A1 using XDA Free mobile app
Come to think of it, actually no. But I am using the USB cable that came with the device. I will give it a try an report back as soon as I get back home.
Out shopping.
I've tried using all USB cables lying around the house still the same result.

Okay, i cant root with SuperOneClick, its my computer. Its SUPER SLOW and CANNOT do anything without freezing. I installed the LG drivers in safe mode (because it would never install in regular) and decided to try to root in safe mode and when it freezes for a bit (at any point), in Task Manager, it says "Not Responding"
Ive unblocked the files and even ran it in admin and yet it still fails and YES, my SD is unmounted and i have USB Debugging on. Here is my system specs:

Thanks!

Do you know how to use adb?

I heard some have used gingerbreak.. Cannot confirm.. But it's an apk you install then run.. Might be worth a shot..
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA Premium App
Look for a app called gingerbreak in the mkt I think. I had the same problem I figured it was cause I was using vista. If you can't find it email me from your phone and I can send you the apk. [email protected]

with those specs and it running super slow, i think you have bigger problems than root. that pc should be fast and smooth. forget about your phone and format that pc lol.
and this post would have been better placed here, as you didn't develop anything. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1039985
For starters you are posting in he wrong area plz read the rules. Also learn to use ADB. Mods plz move

I can't install any software on a computer that has a direct connection t the internet... a copy of the driver only t odownload would be immensely helpful.... if oly someone could extract it from the PC companion download...
strange the way it's not listed on http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/
What driver that you want? Get http://adbdriver.com/ this driver first. Then the pc can detect and install the drivers when youre using update service.
Thanks! That's way better than trying to use anything from Sony.
Reason for install is I'm trying to root 4.0.4. I think this is the best to use:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2186368
Going offtopic now so I'll have to post to a different thread but mentioning it anyway...
I'm having trouble because:
- I only have WinXP for the rooting tools in a virtual VMWare machine, otherwise running linux
- I only have 80mb of bandwidth left
Got superoneclick and various other files from a netcafe...
I've got the driver working now and the device is recognised by adb devices on linux and WindowVM... but running Z_Xperia root just freezes. Superoneclickroot also doesn't seem to go further than a few commands. Got to go these routes because the bootloader is locked (unlocked: no)

Mtp drivers? You have to install windows media player 11 to get past that.
You just want root? I know youre on low bandwidth, but easy way is at least use unlockroot, srs root, eroot.exe. These 3 will work.

A new rooting tool has been released which allows you to root any android device called cydia impactor. It is a one click rootin tool.
Website URL- http://www.cydiaimpactor.com/
Info
Cydia Impactor is a GUI tool for working with Android devices. It has features already, but is still very much a work-in-progress.
Right now, its key feature is an end-to-end exploit of the Android "Master Key" vulnerability, allowing a user to obtain root access on many Android devices (including Glass and TV).

Can you describe the steps please ?
Cant get it to work with Panasonic Eluga DL1. Device seems vunerable to exploit (appscanner bug 8219321 and 9695860). And device is connected with adb-driver (can reboot device trough Cydia Impactor) but when waiting to complete gives error message:
/data/local/tmpimpactor-7[3]: /data/local/impactor-5: Operation not permitted
Any suggestions??

This post said the Their method is applicable to all of the Samsung machine locks BL.
They are already do this, and will not share the way..
It is said that ,the G935A,G935T,G935P,G935V cross bootloader flash Chinese Version ,and support ALL band(gam, cdma, wcdma ,tdscdma, lte) ,all carrier, all
country..
And I get a S7 EDGE G935V, It unlock and flashed, following the picture
I think there are three possible ways to achieve this effect.
1.、use odin flash the eng kernel, and root. then use Z3X or other box to change the Bootloader Recognized identifier
2、Making a special data line, to achieve strong brush the other version of the firmware. (The other phone use this way..)
3、Modify other editions Samsung firmware identifier,To achieve the bypass bootloader to flash the other version.
【I think this is the highest probability】
There are many experts in the forum, I'm sure you'll find interesting
I hope someone can share the way when he successful

I am very pleased to see so many reply.
I see the reply ,and generally do some answer.
1、The phone is T-mobile,It seems that it flash the Version Version frist
2、After flash Chinese version, the bootloader is still locked
This is really strange, the S7 and S7 EDGE ,US version in the US no one cracks, but it cracked in China and they started to do Paid services..
In ShenZhen ,they flash a phone ,charge $ 20

Hello. I just wanted to restore my nexus 5 and i used NRT for it. I pressed restore and after that it startet booting. Now the phone turned on and it wrote: optimalizing (starting apps) 2 of 2. After that it restarted again. I know i was stuck in bootlomp. My pc is not working properly and 90% of images i downloaded were corrupted. In flashing in hashcheck it wrote missmatch. There is photo that i dont know if it is ok but i will post it anyway.

Now i want you guys ask you. i have here a friends notebook but there is not installed the nexus 5 driver and in NRT it doesnt recognize my phone even in bootloader mode so i cant restore it. What can i do here? Can i do something with the drivers to be my phone conected with NRT? Or do you guys have any other better fix for it? Thanks a lot for tour replies!
There is a guide to how install the drivers in NRT. Idk where exactly. Just have look. As I remember it right it should work without have your N5 connected.
