Xperia M2 D2303 changed to D2305 - Sony Xperia M2

Hi there. So, I just unlock bootloader, and then I wanted to install CM 12 (lollipop) on my phone. So, I tried to install recovery (CWM). OK, I installed recovery, and downloaded cm 12 unofficial for my xperia M2 which is D2303. OK, factory reset, clear dalvik cache and other things, than install zip. After some seconds, I can see error: this rom is for D2303, this device is D2305 (something like that). What is this???

Flash another kernel. Check omnirom or galaxyfreaks recovery.

[Q] Save My Xperia Neo V

i have an Sony Xperia Neo V , Officially Updated ICS 4.0.4
so i m starting to move with it....
i have rooted my device and its successfully rooted, then i tried to unlock bootloader, followed sony's official method.
at final command line "fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY" i got an error, it says Failed "your device already unlocked"
ok fine, so its unlocked...
i needed a CWM recovery, so i install and flash CWM via X-Parts from Play store and it works successfully...
i rebooted my devices into recovery and took an nandroid backup.
well everything goes well
then i got interest about cynagenmod officail custom Rom, i have downloaded cm-9.1.0-haida.zip and gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip for my xperia neo v. i choose that because it was only stable ROM from cynagenmod.
then cynagenMod instruction says that i have to flash from cm-9.1.0-haida.zip, so i did copy boot.img from zip and paste it into sdk and i flashed that via SDK.
the great mistake i have done
its flashed CWM Based recovery v6.1.0.2
My boot screen also changed from Sony, Xperia to Free Experia Project with that boot.img flash
after that i didnt took any nandroid backup, i thought i already have one via X-parts CWM
so i did follow instruction, wipe cache, wipe data/factory reset, delvic cache, battery and install cm-9.1.0-haida.zip from sd card, also gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
after installation done i rebooted my device and CM9.1.0 just ready to use, well i have setup everything and start using Cynagenmod Based ROM,
i didnt get much fun of it and i wanna go back to my stock ROM ics 4.0.4
i reboot into recovery and restore backup (created with x parts recovery), the restoration was successfull but after reboot Free Xperia Project boot window comes again and after few second my phone stucks in black screen.
that time i noticed my phone have now two CWM recovery, CWM v6.0.1.2 and X-parts Recovery.
then i tried another ROM called "Revolution_ics_hd_revolution[build_7].zip" it was also installed successfully, but my phone stuck again after Free Xperia Project Boot Screen, and X parts Recovery gone again with this installation.
i tried to flash Stock Rom MT11i_4.1.B.0.587.ftf and Stock kernel MT11i_4.1.B.0.587_kernel.ftf by Flashtool.
when i reboot into flashmod then altime it says : -
06/041/2014 14:41:30 - ERROR - Error in processHeader : 1 : Incorrect function.
06/041/2014 14:41:30 - ERROR - Error flashing. Aborted
i dont know what to do, i can only install and use CM9.1.0 haida now, no other ROMs, even i dont wanna go back to my stock boot screen, stock rom 4.0.4...
i guess somehow if i can remove that boot.img comes from cm-9.1.0-haida.zip, flash original sony boot screen then i could have back to my everything stock and original
is there any way? any tips...?
I wanna go back to my custom kernel, custom rom 4.0.4.....
Please help me....
You must insert loader.sin on firmware folder (flashtool)

Note: If you want not loose your apps and settings only wipe cache and dalvik in CWM before flashing the zip file.

Neither CM 12.1 nor Slimrom boot on D2303 (Xperia M2 LTE)

Hello,
I've tried to install both Roms unsuccessfully (can't post on the development thread because I haven't reached the 10 messages minimum). I use TWRP and they install pretty fast (after doing all wipes) but they get stuck in the boot logo. How can I solve it?
Thanks for your time
You first wiped everything then installed cyanogenmod right? You didn't wipe again after right? 'Cos you shouldn't wipe
only once and then install Cyanogen and restart

Mi 4C just boots to recovery, no matter what I flash

Hi everyone
I've bought a second hand Mi 4C. The original owner had installed TWRP and LineageOS on the device.
I wanted to go back to MIUI, so I used the existing TWRP to do the usual wipes and then flash:
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI4c_V8.1.3.0.LXKCNDI_v8-5.1.zip
The ROM seems to flash correctly, however after I reboot the device it just boots back into TWRP. Basically, there's no way to boot the device "normally", it always boots to recovery!
Thinking maybe the rom was at fault, I wiped again and flashed the latest LineageOS, since I knew that was working before.
However, I then discovered that even with LineageOS the problem remained: device always starts in recovery mode!!!
How can I solve this? I'm new to Xiaomi devices, so maybe I'm missing something. I've always had Nexus phones and I've never seen a problem like this in years of flashing custom roms.
I would point torwards locked bootloader.
Maybe the volume button is stuck?
Try to go in fastboot mode and execute this:
Code:
fastboot oem device-info
If "device unlocked: False " you have to unlock bootloader or follow this guide http://en.miui.com/thread-335614-1-1.html
Hi? Did you solve this problem? My phone also keeps booting in TWRP. What i did was, get to Fastboot and typed "fastboot continue" .
Got the same. Bootloader unlocked.
i have the same issue.
I had TWRP 3.0.3-0 with the Resurrection Remix ROM. After booting into recovery and make a factory default wipe, started to boot always in recovery (TWRP). Doesn't matter if I force to reboot into system. Tried to flash the latest version of RR and nothing changed. Flashed TWRP v3.0.2 and touch screen didn't work.
Then I decided to start from the beginning, flashing the stock libra_images_6.1.7_20151221.0000.11_5.1_cn, unlock the bootloader ( fastboot oem device-info gaves me "true" unlocked), flashed TWRP 3.0.3-0, and till this point all it worked flawlessly. When I flashed the latest RR, then started the boot loop into recovery.
Any idea? Thank you very much
Latest RR 5.8.2 by AndopaX and LineageOS by HnT build with new Miui N bootloader..
You need to change TWRP base Miui N also Fw Update from Miui N..
You will get bootloop when install that roms into old Miui LP bootloader..

Problem bootloader to install!

Can you help me please?
After the installation of CWM Recovery, my Xperia M2 5.1.1 Lololipop will always hang in the bootloader. Have already tried everything, but always the same problem. In the recovery mod I come, but reboot in system does not functize.

Seems like you have overwritten the Boot.img from your 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. You should flash Stock again and do the Steps again. Otherwise you can also flash a Custom ROM.
You can also try to flash another Recovery for example TWRP.
