[Q] Nandroid: backup modem partition - General Questions and Answers

Hi there,
I'm new to this forum, I have read a lot, thanx for the info for sa far!
My question is: I have a LG G2 an made a backup using Online Nandroid Backup (NORMAL BACKUP MODE).
When I browse the backup, there's a modem partition (3 MB).
If I try to make a backup using SELECTIVE BACKUP MODE, I can choose what partitions to backup. But there's no option to backup the modem partition.
How can I make a single nandroid backup of this partition?
(I tried to make a nandroid backup of the EFS partition, but that was empty)
Thank you in advance!
Regards Erik

[Q] EFS backup

Hello, i performed an EFS folder backup using EFS Professional. My question is, why it needs Busybox to work? I must have Busybox installed if i need to restore the EFS folder? I'm on 4.2 stock and rooted.
PS: the backup went ok, no errors. There is anothe better way to backup EFS on gt-i9105P?
PS2: Restoring a nandroid backup, also restore the EFS folder?
there is very little chance that your efs folder will be blown up .. now that you have a backup , you need not need to worry .. while flashing roms and wiping dat , and restoring roms via cwm backup and restore you only need to restore the rom and not the efs folder backup .. if in case , you do not find your imei no. or your efs folder and stuff , you can at any given time restore it manually .. correct me if i am wrong but that is how it works . all the best and Happy Flashing

[Q] [Help] How to restore Nandroid backup on encrypted phone?

I have Online Nandroid Backup and TWRP 2.8.0.0 installed on my OnePlus One (CM 11S 25R). The phone is encrypted, and I have made daily nandroid backups. Now I need to do a full restore from one of those backups, but when I boot into recovery, TWRP doesn't find the backups and doesn't recognize internal storage (it says 0 MB). So it seems TWRP can't recognize my encrypted partitions. How can I restore my full nandroid backup?
Do I need to do it from a computer somehow? Do I need to wipe something first?
I am a newbie.
Thanks

TWRP questions that I haven't been able to find

Hello all, I had some TWRP questions that I have not been able to find the answer to because of the way that the question is worded, many other answers are coming up.
1) Can you restore a TWRP Nandroid backup to a device which has no external storage? Can you partition through TWRP and make a separate storage so you can put files there to restore and flash?
2) When creating a Nandroid backup, I usually select everything to be safe. What do you really actually need?
3) When restoring a Nandroid backup, what do you need to get back to the point when you took the backup? System, and Data? Or System Image? Or all 3? etc...
4) I have been trying for the last hour to restore my phone, but after the Nandroid Restore it is stuck in a boot loop, why could this be happening? I have all required restoration files from my Nandroid backup.
