Is there anyway to get the pull down notification screen on the lock screen if you have pin/pattern enabled?
I loved how iOS handled this, where you can see Notification Center in the lock screen but once you select a notification, you then have to unlock the device to go any further. Can this be done on Android?
BTW, I tried DashClock but it's very buggy on the N5 and does not do what I need. The pull down notification screen would work perfectly.
No this is not possible.

Thanks for the response, I guess the all mighty Andorid is not he customizable beast I was hoping it would be
Well you could just use the slide lock screen. Its not secure but the notification bar will be available.
Also there may be lock screen widgets that can show info you may be looking for like email, twitter, etc.

Wait till XPosed is compatible with KK and you will get that feature.
Once xposed comes to 4.4 (soon), then so much more customization will be possible, including what you want to do.
Hi, I recently noticed the the toggles on the status bar have moved. My toggle for air plane mode and mobile data have moved places and I have no idea why???
Is this normal, please see attachment (mobile data toggle in the middle is original placement)
Thanks

Is this CyanogenMod? Then you can rearrange your toggles in settings menu.
OP just tried "invert colors" function from accessibility menu and that appeared in pull down menu

You don't have to worry about anything. That's normal, because statusbar toggles on Lollipop somehow work on this way. With time (if you wan't touch it) invert toggle will disappear.
You added a toggle and that shifted all the others one place to the right. Nothing strange here.
Doesn't matter How beautiful is the UI of Lollipop , There Are Certain Things Which You Will Feel Uncomfortable With .
Here Are A Few Con's Which I Feel Uncomfortable With .
1. Two Controls To Unlock Screen ;
First You Need To Push The LockScreen cLock ; Then To Unlock Security Pattern or Pin If You Enabled It ..
Uncomfortable !!! Isn't It ?
2. Two Controls To Come Out Of Quick Setting Toggles Even If There Are No Active Notifications .
First A Swipe Up , Which Brings you Back To Notification Panel ; Then A Touch Or A Swipe Up Again To Close Notification Panel.
Disgusting .. Isn't it ?
3. Whenever You Want To Get Rid Of Non Clearable Notification , Holding It Will Not Bring Up The App Info PopUp .. Instead It Gets You To Notification Settings Of That Particular App ; Which Means You Cannot Force Stop The App Which Shows Non Clearable Notification And Imagine You Have No idea Which Part Of System It Belongs To, Then It Stays Forever. Which Can Only Be Hidden And Not Stopped .
Weird .. Isn't It ?

If that's all you got to complain I'd say they did a fairly good job on it.

It was said that lots of apps and games did not work on Lollipop while they worked well on KitKat or Jelly Bean.
I wonder if it is real.
None of it is real man.
We are all really using old star tac phones!! Mass hallucination...

Of course they do well ..
But the quick setting thing is what bothers me .
Two swipes to pull down is okay ..
But two swipe ups to close ; cannot agree to it

I think they are working on UX part too in recent builds, they fixed a lot of problems which were reported previously, and hope these will also be.

Hey explain why is the resolution of the camera reduced by 0.1 pixel on both ends? In other words why is the resolution 4.9 not 5.0 on back and 1.9 not 2.4 in front?
Hey guys,
The powersaving on notification in the slide down & notification bar.
Is there any way to remove it ?
I'm that type of person that doesn't want 10 notification logo's across the top of my screen.
Plus, I run power saving all day, every day and I don't need to be reminded of it haha
any help would be appreciated, thanks

Screenshot of the buttons menu?
My navbar disappeared also, along with the status bar. Didn't uninstall or install anything. It just happened out of nowhere one day. Tried everything to get it back but no joy. Thankfully I had a nandroid backup, so just reflashed and all was ok.
