For those of you who wants the firmware for any samsung device follow the steps below. I've tested it and it works every time
HOW TO EXTRACT FACTORY FIRMWARE WITH KIES (For Return To stock .tar.md5 For Use In Odin)
This is a guide for extracting the factory firmware for your samsung device using Kies Upgrade.
You may ask , I don't have a firmware upgrade.... (5.) Just follow the guide
1. Make sure your phone is plugged in...
2. Open this folder: OS C: / Users / Your name / AppData / Local / Temp
3. Your user profile’s temporary folder will open. Keep it opened, as we’re going to need to copy a file from this location in a little while.
4. Launch Kies and wait for the phone to connect.
5. You’ll see an offer to upgrade firmware of your phone – click on the firmware upgrade button. If no Upgrade click on Tool's / Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation or Firmware Upgrade setting's.
6. A few windows will pop up with questions about backup, etc – answer the questions, making sure to do a backup, and let it proceed. A window will pop up saying “preparing files”, and then a window will pop up again, showing the download progress.
7 Pay attention to the download progress. When it reaches 100%, your phone will enter “Downloading Mode” and begin flashing. YOU MUST FOLLOW THE NEXT STEP AS SOON AS THE FLASH STARTS.
8. During the flash procedure, go to your Temporary folder and refresh its contents. You will see a file called tmpXXXX.tmp (the XXXX’s will be random numbers). This .tmp file is the encrypted ROM archive – ignore it, and look for a new folder created with a similar name (or else sort by date and find the newest folder), and open that instead. Inside you will see a .tar file. Right-click on that file, choose copy and paste it to desktop Don’t try to move the file (using “cut”, or dragging the icon to your desktop) – just copy & paste.
9. Your phone should complete the flash successfully.
You need to copy the firmware file from your temporary folder within the period that your phone is being flashed, as it gets deleted immediately after flashing is complete. I would estimate that you have around 2 – 3 minutes to complete step 8. so you just need to be paying attention when the flash begins.

does this method still work? if so dude u rock!! idk how to say TY enough!!!

Now extract the "original" file that you downloaded.
You will find a ".tar.md5" within the rar.
go here
you will find a windows driver for your phone depending on 32 or 64 bit. It says "vibrant", but they work, so install them.
Open ODIN and connect your phone to download mode.
(turn off phone, hold volume buttons, plug in computer connected usb cable while holding buttons)
put the .tar.md5 into the "PDA" section of ODIN.
Don't worry about any other options and checkboxes, and flash it.
(you may lose data)

I doubt it the files are for the sgs4g. The process might work if you have the proper files.

No Devs :(

Sorry to see that there are no devs, no ROMs for this model.
Is there any chance that somebody produce CWM/TWRP package of stock ROM?
(It's then easy to debloat and twea a little)...
Sorry I can't do it
Thanks anyways...
I have a stock ROM in an Odin flashable format and I don't think it's that hard to convert it to a format that works in TWRP or CWM. I don't want to upload it because it's really big but it's pretty easy to extract from Kies.
If you do a complete firmware reinstall from Kies (I did it by starting an emergency firmware recovery) then it will open a window with a loading indicator that takes a really long time. It takes a long time because it is downloading the stock ROM. If you look in your system temp folder while this is happening (try "cd %temp%" in a console window if you're not sure where that is) you'll see that there is a file with some randomly generated name in the root of the temp directory that keeps growing to over a gigabyte (just sort by size and it will be the file that keeps getting bigger and bigger). The file it's downloading is the ROM in an encrypted form. If you wait until it finishes downloading then it will decrypt the file as the same name but with .zip extension. As soon as the zip file appears you need to quickly copy it to another location before Kies deletes it. Now you have a stock ROM!
The hardest part of this whole process is actually getting kies to start the emergency recovery. I read that you can just do it from the tools menu but for me it did not work until I tried flashing something in Download mode and then intentionally yanked out the usb cable while it was downloading. This essential soft-bricks the device and puts it into emergency recovery mode which allows you to download the stock ROM via Kies.

How I unbricked my Prestigio PAP5300DUO

I read "All the Internet" and there is no other place explaining in english except here for this particular phone so I think one more point of view is not hurting anyone.
You may want first to see the link of stefano2626 then go back. He assumes you have no trouble with the drivers. I posted 2 links with drivers below so you wont need to search it along with the original Firmware & uptate from Prestigio site in case you need it in future but all the files you need for now are in the stefano2626's link which posted below .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541009
I downloaded the first link and uncompressed it in "system_recovery" folder on Desktop like stefano2626 said on the link.
After installing all the drivers (because i wasnt sure if/which will work) i wrote 'adb devices' to see if it reads my phone and then typed "adb reboot bootloader" The phone restarted but instead in recovery it "stuck" on boot image - thats WHAT YOU WANT -then hit the "install-system-windows.bat' from the uncompressed folder from the link of stefano2626 (which posted below). The display will flash in white for 1-2 sec then go dark, dont worry wait and dont touch anything. The phone will start showing you what its doing and after its finished will start normally. Then update it from settings/about phone/system updates trough internet because it will be the older version (firmware). Thats it.
optional: To be easier type CMD in search go to directory and copy it ,not the shortcut but the file "cmd.exe", then paste it in the uncompressed folder from the link and start it from there. That way it will start from the folder & you wont type as much.
I applied these links I found in my "quest" - download them in a folder somewhere in your harddrive in case you need them in the future. Restart Windows if doesn't recognize the drivers. You can uninstall them, restart & install the drivers again. After restart & before install you may wanna clean your registry.
Im not sure if it is relevant or not thats why I should mention it. I pasted update.zip from the original prestigio Firmware v1.0.16 in the uncomressed "system_recovery" folder and then I hit "install-system-windows.bat'
p.s. I would like to see more content for this phone. Its not so popular but in Europe and Russia there is a significant part Prestigio owners.

[FIX] Get latest Android 7.0 release without locking the bootloader

Hi,
Since the 20170425 release of Android 7.0 tends to lock the bootloader on this phone, I thought it would be interesting to share the files that can boot it without locking your bootloader.
The preloader and lk are from previous release of Android 7.0.
Instructions:
Download this ROM: https://www.needrom.com/download/doogee-y6-7-0-2/
Download the fix: https://mega.nz/#!9MMzyZpC!W2mkaAEKxrYL0uWVnNXxS8ao31AShoAgxNBFIJhD438
Extract both files with WinRAR or 7zip
Go to the extracted ROM folder and delete these files: preloader_hct6750_66_n.bin , lk.bin
Copy everything from the extracted DOOGEE-Y6_Nougat-FW folder.
Paste them in the extracted ROM folder and replace the existing ones! Make sure that you replaced the existing files!
Open SP Flash Tools and load the scatter file.
Choose "Firmware upgrade" and click "Download".
Power off your phone
Connect it to the phone with USB cable.
Flashing process will start.
Wait till the end. You'll see a big green button saying "OK".
Disconnect your phone power it on.
Done.
Click to collapse
Big thank you for the fix... BUT
Much appreciate the hard work you have done on this nice phone, kudos
BUT yeah there is always one eh
You accidentally left out the remark to delete the "ik-verified.bin" file, which must be deleted as per your post on needrom.
Hope you don't mind I put that in a comment on here.
ANYHOO Thanks a bundle again (I wish I was a rich man, then I would donate you a bundle)

How to upgrade Firmware from Italian TIM Carrier to Customized Official Italian FW

Hello Everyone!
I am not an expert, but I'd to know, if I can change my actual Firmware "Italian TIM Carrier " to an Official Italian NO Carrier.
It's possibile to follow any guide or link here ?
Actually I have Firmware Nougat 47.0.A.7.137/R15A and i would to updgrade to Oreo 47.1.A.5.51/R2B
If someone could help me, I will thanks in advance.!!
Just download Oreo Italian customized firmware with Xperifirm (you can search for it with Google and download the application). This program would download first the desired firmware and then extract it. Search on xda forum for Newflasher application by munjeni, just download zip and extract it in the same folder where you have downloaded and extracted oreo firmware. Delete all .ta files present in folder and user.sin if you don't want to have corrupted data when turning on your phone after flashing it. Make a backup of your important data and staff present on phone first. Charge your phone completely, when ready, shut it down completely. Hold volume down button and connect phone to pc with his own USB cable. Run newflasher.exe and follow instructions prompted in Windows ms-dos prompt window, it would search for phone and than start flashing. Beware for your PC to not shutting down before is all completed. When flashing is over, turn on your phone and let it setting for a while. If you have any problems can use Sony pc companion application to reset it completely
Good job and pay little attention to what you would do
If not completely sure of what you are going to do just stop and ask. It's better than having a bricked device
Take a look here, that's the guide I followed for flashing my xzp first time :

Good to know it's all fine
Um... So, apparently he did not "delete all .ta files present in folder and user.sin", and all went well. So, is it necessary to "delete all .ta files present in folder and user.sin" or not? And if it is, whey are these files even included into the download?
