Samsung Skyrocket - Doing OTA updates with CWM and Stock ROM
Phone: i727 Samsung Skyrocket Galaxy S II
ROM: [UCMC1] ATT Official Stock ODEXED By Mohan_kr
Recovery - latest CWM.
Question2: How do I process AT&T OTA updates. Do I need a different recovery? Is there a way to do it using CWM?
Question: If Stock recovery is needed - how do I use it temoporarily to perform the update.
Question: How do I save the ATT ODEXED ROM as zip with the updates as a flashable ROM in case I want to try out a different ROM temporarily (e.g. CM 11.0)
Thank you.
First of all UCMC1 is last update for our Skyrocket. Then, you can't flash stock recovery temporarily(as after flashing stock recovery you again have to repeat odin process). And the answer to last question is that, every recovery has a backup option. Selecting it will help you backup your rom so you can easily restore it afterwards.

I already have CM10.1 installed
Hi,
I have flashed my phone with CM 10.1(Jelly Bean feel) . Do i need to flash the stock ROM back and then flash Triton Pegasus or I can directly flash this ROM without reverting back.
Sorry for the question, I am a newbie in this field.

no, you don't need to flash the stock one...you can directly flash the triton rom (but remember, do all wipes before to flash it). In addiction if you want to stay with gingerbread, you could install inspiration rom instead of triton rom. I installed both and inspiration rom seemed to me more stable. Anyway flash the rom you prefer

Hi ... i'm not an expert .... sorry if you found my question to be retarded ..... I have a F350L with Future V3.1 lollipop installed .... If I want to go back to stock Do i still need to modify the tot file ..... Since the Future V3.1 is based on F350L20b version my guess is that there shouldn't be a problem of crossDll ..... but i'm not an expert ,,,, looking forward to the expert opinion.

Are you running just a GPE ROM or did you convert your phone to full gpe?
I updated firmware to VZM 5.0.1 (S-Off) then fully wiped dalvik, data, etc.. and then finally flashed Digital High's LolliGPE rom. Will it still work? My preferred method will be flashing the zip via TWRP Recovery. Thanks!

Yea you will be fine to flash this hboot unfortunately it's via fastboot only. Have you ever used fastboot before?
I see. Good to know. Thanks tiger. As for fastboot, i have done simple commands before thanks to great tutorials here on XDA.
