Hey there,
I am trying to go back to stock firmware on my N8010 on which I flashed N8000 firmware. How can I do this? I have tried downloading the stock kitkat firmware but Odin keeps giving me a NAND write start fail. I am now trying to download a different version of the firmware but it's taking me 3 hours because of these rip off sites like Sammobile and rapidfile which give you 100 kB/s download speed unless you pay.
I have tried fully wiping the thing but that hasn't proven successful either.
Short answer is no. Long answer is in another thread
I'm in the same boat and haven't found a way

Need more info, exact model number firmware you were on, firmware file you were tryimg to flash, did you check, or uncheck anything in Odin? Download mode is good, you should be OK.
How do you know its softbrick? Bootloop, hang at logo? Which one?, as much data as possible will get you fixed faster.
I had same problem. You need a PIT file for p6200 and use it in odin together with the newest firmware from sammobile.com.
It works for me.

I have limited knowledge on flashing, but as far as I know, If u r using a 'PIT' file, be sure to check on 'Repartition' Option in Odin (while flashing). If u Flash wid ONLY a md5 file, ensure that 'Re Partition' box is unchecked while flashing. May be u kept Repartition checked while you were not using a PIT file or vice versa.
If that is d case, try flashing again by following a correct process.
I see, that we have nothing normal here, just Q&A with persons, so I decided to do guide if you have soft bricked phone or you want go from JB to GB or other questions.
Question: I somehow bricked my phone
Answer: If you can boot your phone and see bootloop (Samsung and device name), everything is fine. You just need to go to download mode (hold volume down + home button + power about 4-5 seconds), download Odin 3.07 and Russian FirmWare. Flash Russian FirmWare (just CODE_GT-I8160_I8160XXLK6... file) with Odin PDA and your device is alive again.
Question: I have JB, but I want GB back.
Answer: Easy. Download Russian FirmWare, flash with Odin 3.07. Find your wanted GB FirmWare version in SamMobile.com and flash it with Odin 3.07 again. You have GB once again.
Question: I have GB and I want JB. Which version to install?
Answer: It seems ME7 is best version, but you can still try MF1 or any other.
If you have any other questions, please ask and I will help in this thread.

Sorry, I don't have P version and I can't test and tell that. I have regular I8160.
To put it simply, no matter what happen (I mean bootloop, caused by anything), the only solution is to flash that Russian Firmware and Flash the Firmware of your choice (either GB or JB), right?
Many, many thanks for this. After bircking my Ace 2 and trying all kinds of ways of reflashing the stock ROM this is the only thing that worked. So, you've saved my phone - and me some expense.
Now, however, I have a new issue. The Russian version won't update, so I would like to revert to a UK stock ROM with JB 4.2.2. Given my recent epxerience thohgh, I am wary of trying to flash anything again. Any advice on a "safe" way to do this?

Which version of odin are you using? You don't have a mac do you?
Download the actual firmware for your phone from the official Samsung website. sammobile.com. Don't be downloading stock firmware from file hosts, or dropbox. You need to register for free on the official sammobile.com and then attempt to download your firmware. The firmware is a large file, so make sure to have good WiF/data connection. And yes, make sure you're using the latest version of Odin. Good luck!
Please Help
Before posting this thread i had tried to search several links from the Forum and all was dead. I know its an old device but i still keep till now.
My N8000 is currently stuck at the samsung logo, im using AndroidRevolution v21 and High on Android recovery. Well had used it for a year before it went bricked.
I can still access the recovery and download mode so i assume my motherboard not busted yet.
Can someone please help providing a way or a link to original GT-N8000 stock Recovery and Stock ROM ? Or maybe a link to the bootloader and modem and the PIT file as well. I want to try to flash it using ODIN. Oh and im from 4.4.2 before
Thank you

Have you tried sammobile or samsung-updates ??
Thank you for the reply, i had try sammobile.com, but somehow i need to get a premium membership by paying. So i cant download from there. Any advice ?
Got it guys. I download the firmware from here http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N8000 , hope it helps
I have been trying to find a solution for the last 2 days and I have had no luck. Sorry if this has been posted.
I flashed Marshmallow ROM a few weeks ago, but could not get the MMS working on it. So I decided to try a different ROM and hopefully that would fix it. I used the Insanity Rom. It didn't help, in fact, it made it worse because I couldn't get any data to work only wifi. So I figured I would go back to a lollipop ROM. This is where the problems began.
I flashed the ROM, it went into a boot loop. After reading more, from what I read is that once you have Marshmallow Sprint doesn't like to you to go back. I hope that makes sense. So I figured the best route would be to go back to stock and start over. And the problems continue.
I downloaded Odin, went to Sam Mobile and got the file to flash. Went into download mode, hooked it up to Odin, and it failed, tried again, failed. I get an error "Get Pit for Mapping". I have read that you need to be very careful with flashing Pit files so I have been trying for find information on how to do it. I did find a thread with the Pit file for the S5 g900p and another thread that said to use PIT Magic v1.3.10 - Samsung PIT Creator, Editor, Analyzer! But the thread was from 2012.
Long story - Short. How do I fix this Pit for Mapping error?
Thanks in advance for your help.
before you mess with the pit, try different md5's, different cables and different computers. Also what md5 file are you using? I 99.9% of the time recommend 5.0 OK4. If youre using PCA, it can be kinda picky
