I've noticed that cyanogenmod has recently started doing nightlies (CM12) for xt925 again.
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=xt925&type=
Though I'm not sure what the difference between this and moto_msm8960_jbbl (which is what I'm on currently) is.
Would it be possible for me to flash this xt925 nightly rom? Or do I have to be on kkbl?
Thanks!

xt925 is for kitkat bootloader
xt925_jbbl is for jelly bean bootloader..
Unified builds for our xt925 are no longer supported by cyanogenmod.. They separated the devices again..
So, if you are using moto_msm8960_jbbl you must change your build to xt925_jbbl to be up to date..

So all I'll need to do is flash the xt925_jbbl and everything will be all good?

Hello, everyone. Can any one make a stock Rom for MZ 601 with a working 3g from (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1936534)?
sorry if i made it in the wrong thread.
The mz601 does not have stock 4.1.2... The latest stock for our device is 4.0.4
not stock but custom rom , you can choose :
TeamEOS
CodenameAndroid
CyanogenMod (cm10 experimental)
maybe you could check this it should be for mz601 but I've not tested it:

I am not asking for a official stock rom, but for custom rom near to the stock.
TeamEOS has made a rom using this 4.1.2 base but they add alot of stuffs which made it some how lagy.
I just want some one to add 3g to that rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...hp?t=1936534) if it is possible.

Thanks, that what I needed.
Hi Guys
Forgive my ignorance whats the difference from EOS3 roms to EOS4 roms
I have just flash my xoom to eos jz054k nightly 155, but would like the very latest stable 4.2.xx the one
that supports panoramic camera, and would to take advantage of using it on forthcoming holidays
looking in EOS4 roms there is lots of nightlys to choose from, would they flash over my EOS3 155 nightly
using TWRP recovery ??
You would have to install a 4.2 ROM on a CLEAN system. Meaning, you need to do a CWM Factory Data Reset prior to flashing the 4.2 ROM along with the correct Gapps.
jelly bean 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 rom
Hi Whats
The latest stable rom on 4.2.xx that I could flash on my xoom , and still have all hardware
working like keyboard etc..???

Unfortunately, you will have to search the threads for that answer. I've switched back to 4.1.2 a long time ago, as I don't particularly care for the JB 4.2.x OS. Sorry.
soo i have baked bean rom on my tab right now witch is a unoffical cm10.1 i think and i havent updated it in a long time so i think i should switch to cyangenmod. now i looked at cm10.2 on xda first and i noticed jb bootloaders that you would have to flash with odin, i dont know how to do this, for cm 10.1 should i just have to flash the stable zip and gapps??
I am running the stable release of CyanogenMod 10.1.2_p3100
I downloaded the .zip file and gapps for 4.2.2 and pasted both to my sdcard.
Then I went to CMW mode
cleared the cache, files of previous ROM
flashed the CM10.1.2 stable release for p3100 zip
after that again I flashed the gapps for 4.2.2 zip
and rebooted my device. Now my tab is running it perfectly.
Procedure is same, Be sure to download the correct zip for the correct model number (mine is p3100) and the gapps for 4.3 (because cm10.2 is running 4.3)
You can browse gapps by below link

If you're coming from Jellybean, there's no need to flash JB bootloaders prior to flashing CM 10.1 or 10.2.

ok thanks xD just recently I got my hands on a galaxy s cappy and in order to get gingerbread and up roms I had to flash gingerbread bootloaders, if I didn't it would screw up the phone so I thought this was the same way with my tab.

10.1 is JB that is why you don't need to flash the JB Booloader for flashing 10.2 which is also JB.
hello everybody! i 've got this problem on my rzr hd with cm11. when i plug the hdmi on tv my phone turns to landscape and the tv got signal but with black screen, on stock firmware works fine. this happening someone? any solution?
tanks for yours answers.
sorry for my english
I have the same issue with HDMI and CM11
The HDMI code is proprietary code owned by Motorola. They have not released the source for it, so CM11 HDMI will not work. Any ROM that is AOSP-based will not work as they are compiled straight from the AOSP source which does not have the HDMI code. Again, the HDMI code is owned by Motorola and they have not and will not release the source since it's not open-source code.
I have an XT925 on cm11 (M5) and HDMI is working without any issues.
Have you actually tried HDMI recently on stock firmware? Perhaps is the actual port that got screwed (been there).

I remember testing the HDMI when I first flash CM11 and it was working, but now it doesn't work anymore... maybe it's an issue triggered in some point between M5 and M6 (I'm currently running M6)
I have an xt926 that runs on the Liquidsmooth ROM (AOSP-based, KitKat version) and have no problems with HDMI. It worked on the Jelly Bean version of Liquidsmooth as well.

I don't remember if It ever worked on cm base, but I'll try if it works on cm10.2
it now works on the latest cm11 with the 3.4 kernel so when that comes to official it will work for every one

So, i have to wait to try
Ok I'm lost. I've been reading around for the past few hours & I've been out of the loop for too long to make sense of this.
I have scrosler's [ROM][1/27/14] - Stock Rooted Knoxless - VRUCML1 - Android 4.3. I have the unlocked bootloader because I have TWRP installed (right?). I did NOT take the OTA to get to 4.3.
With baseband VRUCML1 can I jump to any other ROMS still? Or what should/shouldn't I be looking for?
I'm thinking of trying CM11 or SlimKat
If you can list the version then that would be great. If you do have TWRP installed, yes your bootloader is unlocked and you can flash any Touchwiz rom up to 4.3 or any AOSP rom.

Darn, only up to 4.3...
Versions:
Android: 4.3
Baseband: I535VRUCML1
Build #: JSS15J.I535VRUCML1
TWRP: v2.6.3.1

I think you misinterpreted me. You can flash any AOSP rom that you want since you have TWRP installed. You're limited to 4.3 roms for Touchwiz. CM and SlimKat are ok.
Word of advice, if you're looking to use KitKat AOSP, the S3 has unified builds. One zip for multiple carriers. KitKat AOSP roms will be listed as "d2lte" when you search for recently updated downloads.

As you told you have custom recovery and unlocked bootloader...
I have tried many ROMs and personally will suggest you to go with cm11 .
Slim is also cool but cm has good features and gets updated quickly as there is a Professional team working on it.
Where as on slim if some one ports or adds some more stuff then u will get update which won't be ota ( cm will have some ota update )
Cm is cool ASOP is also cool.

Please thank me if I helped

THANKS SLIM!
Next time I'm dropping the $ on an unlocked phone so I don't have to "think" about what I can & can't do (Stupid Verizon).

You're welcome, always here to help out :good::good:
Also, I'm thinking the same as well in terms of an unlocked phone. Tired of worrying about which OTA is not for my phone or things like that.

This is actually a question I've had for a while. What sorts of things have OTA updates on CM? Does CM update "OTA" often or rarely? I used CM years ago on my OG Droid, but they didn't have updates back then. I keep hearing there are some kinds of updates on CM, but I can never find out what this really means... can you elaborate for me, please?

It depends actually if the developers will fix and update your device ... its on luck ... for example if the developer has the device and he will update for himself. Also it depends on device if it is capable of running the new android , means the hardware capablitity .... You can install cm11 as they are fast in fixing stuff and if you have some problem , xda will help you as cm is common on xda...
I had used cm11 on galaxy tab 2 and it worked like charm ... i was update ( android version v4.4.4 where as on stock they use v4.2 ) f***ing nice.... thanks to xda and cm.... love you all....
