You don't have the correct firmware installed. To go from KitKat to Lollipop you need to flash the Lollipop form and modem first.
Lollipop firmware:

Lollipop modem:

And if you want to go back to KitKat again you must flash the KitKat firmware/modem.
KitKat firmware:

If you actual read the install instructions in the ROM thread it does state that you need the firmware update.

Right now my recovery is set to 6.0.1.2. I cannot use this because I am on a kexec rom at the moment. How do I revert back to 6.0.1.0?
Need to know because if my phone were to reboot I have to restore my stock rom, then restore beans build 8.

use CWM recovery to flash....may be kernel issue
remove getprop lines from updater-script
Hello folks!
Finally I got it working.
I only need someone with 4.3 and unlocked BL to confirm it boots to android. CWM is working. It's because I have KitKat on my M2 so someone just check if there are no issues with booting on JB.

And here I also would like to explain why I can't make KitKat kernel with CWM at the moment.
To make kernel I need dt.img which can be created only from kernel source. When I extract dt.img from stock kernel it just doesn't work. So I have to wait for Sony to release KitKat kernel for M2.

Hello everyone!
I have H06-L12
With stable 807 android 6.0
When I go into the updater app, I can't find the local update option any more.
And when I try to do the three buttons method, it just failed no matter what file I use.

And help?
What is the easiest way to get to most up to date version rom?
My end goal is to get KangVip rom
Thanks in advance.

Edit - Solved!
I've used KingRoot to give me root access.
used HonorTuner to get the bootloader code easily.
added TWRP via SRK tool.
lastly installed KangVip rom throw the recovery.
super easy.
Dear users,
i have strange crash problem after upgrading my official rom on Lenovo S580 phone. The phone crashed while updating on the newest version of stock firmware, and now the device boots only into the recovery mode. I have never used a custom ROM on this phone. The last option on the picture that is below is something i have never seen before - it says "system partition check", and after i run it i get a report "system has been root". Does this mean that my phone is rooted? It is still under warranty so please advise me if my warranty covers this kind of problem. Thank you all in advance.
