Dear users,
i have strange crash problem after upgrading my official rom on Lenovo S580 phone. The phone crashed while updating on the newest version of stock firmware, and now the device boots only into the recovery mode. I have never used a custom ROM on this phone. The last option on the picture that is below is something i have never seen before - it says "system partition check", and after i run it i get a report "system has been root". Does this mean that my phone is rooted? It is still under warranty so please advise me if my warranty covers this kind of problem. Thank you all in advance.

Hi,
I rooted my HTC Sensation a few weeks ago as described here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300.
(I also wrote SuperCID).
I then tried an OTA Upgrade from my Carrier. The Phone rebooted and now it shows this screen:

Would be very much appreciated, i'm kind of breaking a sweat right now
Problem solved itself, took the Battery out, replaced it and it booted.
Update isn't installed.

You are using a custom recovery, that is why the update can't install you need stock recovery.
Do step 1-12 here:

I have accidently used this Acer 730HD repair tool on it, i thought there would be options but it just does everything automatically
so I believe my Non-HD 730 is now flashed with some rooted 730HD rom , now i managed to find the stock rom off Acer support site,
but after some research i'm still not sure how to flash it back,
the problem is, ithe tablet still able to enter recovery but I'm guessing it is in a resolution my non-hd doesn't support or something, so i cannot see what options are what

Hi ! I have a OnePlus 8 IN2015 with bootloader unlocked but not rooted , I understand the official TWRP recently added support for this device (instant noodle)
My question is can I just hit download TWRP and follow the instructions and be done straight from the phone ? Do I need magisk first ?
Also when I click the drop down menu to search for a device it says failed to connect to the server ?

Pleae help me how to solve this issue
This is a carrier version, so bootloader cannot be unlocked and there is no workaround.
I made the same mistake of purchasing the phone from a reseller and ended up with a locked bootloader. What's worse is that the battery has expanded with a few months and the back panel is coming off.
First and last time I ever purchase a phone from a reseller.
