hi guys, I've tried to install on my moto g cyanogenmod's last nightly which I've downloaded from the original cyanogenmod site, I've done everything as I've always done: wipe data, cache, dalvik, format system. Then flash cm11,gapps and pink kernel. But when I reboot the phone it won't boot and stuck on the cm11 logo, I've also wait 20 minute but notthing happen. I've also re installed the originale firmware just to be sure but there seems to be no way to make cm11 start. Could Someone help me? Thx
Which Moto G do you have?

The standard one, noto dual SIM, not the GPE edition, I've bought it on amazon uk
I usually try the following in this order
1. Download Rom again. You may have a bad download.
2. Change to a different recovery
3. Sometimes I'll try using the ADB sideboard command in TWRP.
Give those a try.

I've seen many cases where people have converted their Moto G into a Play Edition. However, those cases were always with the GSM unlocked version.
Is it possible to convert the Boost Mobile variant Moto G into a Play Edition?
In all of the guides, it says to flash the GPE modem, but wouldn't that break CDMA data?

Anyone?

Haven't tried it my self. There is some information in the mototool thread if you do some searching. Sounds like you have to flash the CDMA modem and the phone aspect of things might not work "out of the box".
Anyway worth a try, if your not relying on the phone.
I was going to do it, but then I realized that the stock boost ROM is working really well for me.

What would be the advantage of using the gpe version?

Different file system, COMPLETELY pure android (no Motorola or boost Mobile apps or services), and because the annoying profile updater repetitively comes up around twice an hour. GPE stock rom doesn't have any of that.

here is what i did with my new "boost" mobile phone.
Flashed the Boost 4.4.2 rom
flashed the Verizon 4.4.2 rom on top.
activated the phone and 3G with page plus
then i flashed CyanogenMod11 on top of verzion.
works so far, still get the page plus service.
not sure about 3g cuz i'm out of data.
if i can flash cm11, you can probably do GPE if they work the same way.
(unless it affects the radio partition)
but you can always flash it back

The main reason I am asking is because the stock gpe ROM is specifically designed for the sim unlocked gsm moto g.

if the GPE rom is anything like the pure stock AOSP android. then it will work.

In my view there is no real advantage switching to GPE. Moto G uses f2fs filesystem which is faster then ext4. At least many posts and reviews say that. The Moto G is nearly Stock android. If you are rooted, you can freeze unwanted system apps or even remove them. I havent't heard anything about a profile updater. Also you can make a cwm backup, add and remove apps on your pc and flash it again if you want a fresh installation with less apps.
I tried to fastboot flash the images, it booted, but it had no signal and MEID was equal to zero

I tried downgrading my Moto G Xt1033 from GPE 4.4.4 to Motorola stock 4.4.2 and the phone is stuck at "Bootloader unlocked screen" need :crying:
Well I had the same problem just one day ago and it's a bit tough. The good thing is that you can fix and install a custom rom (I chose PA 4.42 btw) when you try. The bad thing is that you can't downgrade to 4.4.2 or 4.4.3 right now. But read for urself
I guess the reason is that the partition layout has changed with 4.4.4
I hope I did help you a little bit,
