After flashing FXP-cm-12-20150219-UNOFFICIAL-flamingo only head of the robot shows up and nothing more happens.
Maybe someone could write me an instruction or give a link to it.

Well, well, well
Previously, you should put FXP cm12 rom zip file in your external sdcard
1. You should first load your boot.img file via Flashtool in fastboot mode (blue led, to get it, turn off phone, connect it to pc while you are pressing simultaneously vol + slowly) before start flashing a FXP CM rom (you can extract it from the fxp cm12 zip file)
2. After you inject the boot.img file, wait for an ok message in flashtool, disconnect the phone, close flashtool, turn on phone and press vol + or - repeteadly, the purple led will turn, the telephone should vibrate and you will enter into cwm recovery, after that, do the reglamentary wipes (data/factory reset, cache partition, dalvik cache) before flash the new rom, now, choose the zip file from the external card, install it, wait until if finishes, do the three wipes again, and finish up exiting of cwm recovery
3. The telephone should start the installation of the cm12 rom and around after 3-5 minutes, your lollipop will be done!
4. If none of the above works, please download and install XperiFim, download the stock rom according to your E3 model (D2202/12/03/06/43) and flash it via flashtool using flash mode (mode when green led on, to get it, turn off phone and connect it to the pc pressing simultaneosly vol - slowly (keep in mind this because it may enter in cwm mode) and after get again the stock rom, repeat steps 1-3 doing it well this time.
I hope that my instructions help you a lot!!
If you are not so desperated, wait until 2nd half of the year or 2016, because Lollipop will not ship it soon for medium and low-end 2014 xperia devices. We have the choice of AOSPing and use CM12, but not nothing official at this moment (20-02-2015)

Do you even tried your fabulous method?
Do you even know that CM12 for E3 is corrupted, any variant of E3 are working with this rom (D2202, D2203....)
And No nothing will be done for Xperia E3 this device is came out in September 2014, there almost 7months and atm there is nothing working/relevant (You will say AOSP to me but... AOSP don't have camera and there are a lot of bugs on it, so its not relevant)
About CM 12 I forgot this idea since a while, why? because there are no developpers interrested on this device.
If you want a nice custom ROM, put your E3 to trash and buy Xperia M2 or Z3, this forum for E3 is dead, that's all !
Hi @Exerath
I suggested that method because it worked on my other xperia device when installed CM, so i thought that installing CM in every xperia device will be the same thing (obviously keeping in mind device, kernel and CM version). I didn't know about bootloop in E3 running a broken CM12 rom.
Also i wasnt aware about cm12 being unstable for any E3 variant (D22XX) and nothing about failing camera in AOSP.
And please forget that idea, my device is not for the trash. I don´t care if there´s no official or unofficial lollipop version . Early or soon, somebody will take care of our devices
I´m so happy with my E3 and i wanna try to help :'( :"-(

Dear friends i have flashed the FXP217 to my device and i wiped data and dalvik and partition before and after instalation
after rebooting my device i was shocked , white screen i was waiting and trying to get into boot but still white even after pink led
to get to the boot it give me blue led but still white screen, please any help.... fastboot not work too
if i let the device stay on white screen with green led
it's not dead, dead is when it won't even vibrate when you power it on.Remove battery, put it back after 5 seconds, and flash a new firmware with Flashtool. And when you install CM this time, DON'T WIPE anything after installing CM.
It's merely soft-bricked.
I suggest you to try to reflash CM10, you might want to flash 216 check if that one works.
Wipe your stuff BEFORE flashing the ROM itself.
+ Have you flashed the boot.img correctly?
Regard, Drago
Same happened with me too, heres the fix:

me too
just flash your FXP216 boot.img kernel via cmd fastboot
i did just exactly fuser1337 did, and it work fine
how to install boot.img in dead tipo?
i hv installed a boot.img with a renamed file of boot1.img. after that my tipo doesnt respond for anything. no vibration, no led at all....
what should i do?
Hi guys.
so here is what happened to start with:
i tried to to put CM 10 jelly bean on it. (Free xperia Project) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1997251
i followed all the instructions given in the how To', except for one
i overlooked on the kernel installation procedure(my bad ) and i directly went for the ROM and Gapps one.
i did all this through the latest Version of CWM, it successfully installed both, ROM and gapps.
but after that i tried to reboot, it didn't reboot
all it does is that, when i press the power button, it vibrates once, and if i constantly press on the vibrate button, it constantly Keeps on vibrating :/
without showing anything on the screen.. bricked i thought!
so to get out of it i started using Fastboot.exe using this as as a guide: http://forums.droidbeans.com/tutori...SESSID=af435aa8d3021e9723408b9fbec9d7d4#msg83 (part 3 onward). that didn't work as it had problems flashing cache and recovery (i think i made a huge error as it wont flash to cache and recovery anymore :/
so to get around it i I managed to get hold of the ftf. (Generic) I have flashed it using flashtoot but it still hangs on the Sony logo and does not much more.
so then I tried flashing FXP boot.img using fastboot and that went on ok and now I can get it into cwm recovery to flash cm10 rom onto it (with no errors) but it still hangs on the free xperia logo after wiping although it doesn't seem to want to wipe the cache. So I'm not sure where to go from here. stumped!
If it helps, when i start CWM Recovery It says something like E: can't retrieve / open recovery log a few times at the bottom of the screen And in fastboot I can't wipe or flash to recovery. at all. I now don't even know if that's the problem
I did the defeated thing and took it to the shop to see what they say and they want to send it away. But I will have to pay once they work out its my error, and im in no doubt it is. so I still have it, hoping i can sort it
if anyone can help i would be eternally grateful. the phone is only a month old and i cant really afford to replace it :'(

Update. I've found out from other page that it could be a problem with the kernel. I flashed it separately and it still hangs on Sony. I'm looking for a stock boot.img and I will try that.

Hi,
I am new to this site and fairly new to rooting and stuff and need assistance with my Sony Xperia S (LT26i). If i am not in the right pace for this please point me in the right direction. I have installed a custom rom and custom recovery which let me upgrade from 4.1.2 to 4.3 which was working fine then when I flashed a different custom rom after that to get 4.4.1 I lost access to my custom recovery. The main issue is that I need help with changing the custom rom I have installed, for some reason I can no longer boot into TWRP or CWM (using power + vol up), the phone simply boots normally and skips the whole process therefore I cannot flash anything. I have looked for hours over the net on how to get into recovery but could not find a solution.
I also assumed that when installing custom recovery and custom roms that you would need to be rooted but when I check with Root Checker it says that I am not. So any assistance would be great

Here is 4.0.4
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_d8uWGbkaetLThpYzEwZUh5aTg/edit
steps:
how to install the newest Android 4.0.4 for Sony XPERIA S LT26i
a) first of all, check your firmware version (if you already have the newest one, you do not need this tutorial)
b) download and install latest Flashtool from here (mirrors Google Drive or Mega)
c) download also latest Android 4.0.4 (mirror) for Sony XPERIA S LT26i
d) paste the ftf file downloaded in step c) to folder „Firmware“ included in the XPERIA Flashtool
e) open the XPERIA Flashtool, click on flash and choose downloaded firmware, than click ok. Important - if you do not want to delete any data of your phone, just uncheck flashing userdata.sin file. All data will remain in your phone, but sometimes it can cause additional troubles. So it is better (and I recommend that) to do the backup of your personal data, than proceed with clean instalation and then restore your personal data.
f) turn off your phone and when Flashtool shows pop up window, connect phone to PC with holding volume down button
g) after few minutes all is done and your phone gets the new firmware
Here you got 3 ways to update good luck
http://androidteen.com/xperia-s-lt26i-update-to-android-4-1-2-jelly-bean-official-firmware-6-2-b-1-96/
Ok so I successfully downloaded the firmware file but I got an error when using the flash tool, I have attached the log if you can maybe help me out with what went wrong.

The clue's in the error message - you don't have the required drivers installed.
There's a directory named "drivers" under the main flashtool dir. Run flashtool-drivers.exe and install the appropriate drivers. I think "Common Drivers Viskan Board" is the one you need. I ended up installing all of them to get it to flash (which took ages).
Ok so I got it to work, all I had to do was hold down the vulumn down button for like an extra 5 seconds while it began to flash
Thanks for the help, I appreciate it

Hello again
So I have successfully rooted the device and installed TWRP but as before I cannot seem to get into the recovery mode, when I boot the phone with "power and vol +" it doesn't boot into recovery but instead there is a quick glimpse of what I think is the recovery mode (I cant actually see it but something happens for a split second) but it flashes past way too fast then goes to the normal Sony logo and continues booting normally. I have tried this like at least 20 times in the last 2 weeks and have researched other ways to boot into recovery but I can't seem to find anyone with an answer. Do you know what could fix this? Or is there a way to boot into recovery using a computer?

The recovery you're booting to is not a custom recovery ,anyway I'll giude to installing I'll give some useful links.
First if all you need to unlock your bootloader go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/xperia-l-how-to-flash-tool-unlocking-t2337955
You may run in a bootloop (the phone stuck at bootanimation)
Just flash the stock ftf via flashtool .
Now go here and take the first method , it will guide how to install CM12
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63769485&postcount=2
Remember that the first may take sometime so don't pullout the batterybattery.
Good luck:highfive:

Are you sure that your bootloader is unlocked?
Anyway try to flash the stock ftf ,download the suitable one here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/sony-xperia-l-flashable-ftfs-locked-t2560642
I flashed my Taoshan using this instructions :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-14-alpha-1-t3469162
So I downloaded all and place it on my sd card. Then turn off phone and boot into TWRP recovery.Factory reseted phone and 1st flashed rom.It says 2 times unknown command at the end but it says successful. Then flashed gapps for 7.1 and it says error code 70.So I know that I need to find smaller pack of gapps but I would do that later. Then I flash these all addons and fixes. If I remember correctly only 1 addon did not install. When I want to boot my phone to system it just vibrates and nothing on screen.Only black screen and if I only hold power button it vibrates every 5 seconds.Cant go to recovery or anything.I get my phone working back by connecting it with pc and sony companion program.Anyone know where I made mystake or any alternative roms to flash ? Also I cannot flash twrp on phone but I will success once.
