You could try stump. However, make sure you back-up your ROM first.

I recently reinstalled the factory stock ice cream sandwich onto my Verizon galaxy s3. After this, I rooted it and tried to install a custom recovery. However, it would not install it. I tried installing the recovery from goomanager and the one from cyanogenmod (both previously installed on different occasions). Neither would install. I then installed voodoo rootkeeper so I could update my phone to jellybean 4.1.2. As I was going through the updates, rootkeeper was able to restore my root until the last update. Now when I try to restore my root it says "root su restored" but it does not restore the root. I am also no longer able to obtain root from scratch. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Hey I have a D800 but the software is D80020u. Its on 4.4.2. I use IO root and successfully rooted my device. But when ever I try to install Clockworkmod 6.0.4.4. and reboot into recovery it just stock wipes my entire phone. It never switch to Clockwork Recovery.

Use AutoRec. It will downgrade your bootloader to be able to flash recovery.
Same issue here
Flashing it back to jellybean worked for me! Thank you again Xda !

i know my question sounds weird, actually all i did was root my mobile then installed custom recovery on it and then installed custom rom (that was Xperia HD) then i wanted to go to a new custom ROM (that was LG G3), i installed helium to backup my apps data, after i flashed and rebooted my mobile, i installed helium to restore but i did not asked for any SU permissions and switched on unrooted method, btw superuser was already installed but it wasn't giving me superuser permissions on any app, i kinda worried and downloaded root checker and guess what it said, "your device has not root access" :/ then i tried to root my mobile again but the real question is that now which root setup should i look up to download to root? i mean for the older stock rom i had or for lg g3? FYI, LG G3 ROM is running perfect.
Sir,
For wich device you want to point? Xperia or LG?
Thanks

Impossible without lose warranty. Bootloader must be unlocked.

I have a Samsung Galaxy J700p (boost Mobile) on software version J700PVPS1AQD1 that I rooted using CF Auto Root. I want to install TWRP recovery, but I don't know if being already rooted changes anything. All the guides I see show only how to install TWRP and root at the same time through Odin. I want to be extra cautious about this, I don't want to have to re-flash the stock ROM again.
