Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!

Good day, reas0n! thnx for your rom, it's one of the best roms ever! I have a few suggestion: what do you think about changing ro.sf.lcd_density=400 to 430? I think it's more comfortable, 400 is too small icons at app drawer; secondly, could you add network traffics at status bar? useful function, I think. and if you remove cm weather app, maybe it is necessary remove "show weather" string in status bar settings?
sorry for my English)

Suddenly a Q/A, wtf, XDA?
Whatever... About density, is it only about those icons at app drawer or also in overall?
About network traffic - good, I'll add to to my to-do list.
And about CM weather, I'll just try to make it disabled as default (I'll do the same with Doze).
Please write the new posts in main thread, dunno why this Q/A even exist, I don't want it.

Is there a software to dial down the system color saturation/contrast/curve etc?

Is there a software to dial down the system color saturation/contrast/curve etc? Thanks for any tip!
You mean changing the whole screen in real-time or just some specific backgrounds?
BTW you should ask these things in the dedicated Q&A forum .
Thread moved.
thanks for moving my thread. I was wondering where it should be.
My question is to change the system contrast/saturation etc once then leave it that way, not real time change. if there's not a software for this, I wonder if there's a registry tweak. thanks!
I don't think so, you can change the screen brightness, that's all .
that sucks. but, thanks.

How to Change Icons In Top Bar?

Hi Guy I'm New with Android OS I come from WinMo and I like to start make My device more nicer I think the first step for me to learn is How to skin or Change the Icons In Top Bar.can some of You Guys can point me to the Guide lines. The Images I post is from users mrnv45,JokerAce & myn here in XDA but like you see myn & mrnv45 match the top bar icons with his theme and applications Icons this is what I like to do but just one step at a time for now just the top bar Icons. Please all the info is really appreciated.
Many thanks Guys
well you may be new to android but with 129 posts you are obviously not new to these forums so you should know how to search. and this goes in the themes section, not software and hacking. and if you had searched that forum youd have found the answer...you should try it some time.
the images you are looking for are in framework-res.apk in res/drawable. just replace them with whatever you like, then sign and flash.
all the answers you need are in the Android themes section. try searching there before posting next time, as it is QUITE LIKELY that whatever your question is, it has already been answered there at LEAST once...

ListView Scrolling

I'm putting in code to allow color changes as user wants for background and some text items. I also have a custom array adapter.
When setting the background to say, BLUE, and when they hit the screen to scroll, the whole background goes BLACK while scrolling. This is particularly annoying when the text is BLACK as it disappears.
Do I need to set the background to the color selected in "onItemClick()"?
Thoughts?
TIA,
Roots

Yes. On each item click, you need to implement case switch methods. Similarly compared to basic language, on x= do this etc.....

Thanks Simon, I appreciated the link Works great!
@Mulcahyd "Yes. On each item click, you need to implement case switch methods. Similarly compared to basic language, on x= do this etc."
My question was about scrolling a custom list adapter and the color changing, not how to handle an on-click listener.

Here is the third item on page one of THIS forum, a sticky:
"[ATTN] : Read before posting - Any questions posted here will be MOVED or CLOSED"
So, I don't post questions or problems in "Development", and then, I don't post questions in "Android Software and Hacking General" or they'll be moved or closed?
I sent you a PM about this as it's very confusing.

[Q] Theme co-op thread idea...

This wasn't so much a question as an idea... but forgive me if this should be in the Q&A section.
My question, or idea, which is probably not new, is this:
Can a thread be made in the themes section for members to post their screens and then ask other members/devs/themers for their advice on what to add/remove and etc.?
Sort of a "WWXDAD" (What Would XDA Do?)
To elaborate. Let's say I switch my theme to Nex by kgill, and remove all my old widgets and icons to be left with a completely blank home screen. I would then post a screen shot (and lock screen) - blank - and ask "What would you guys do if this were your phone to theme?" With other members maybe linking, referencing, or even providing icons, widget settings, etc. for that persons set up. Maybe a brief tutorial on "how to make this look like that" (e.g. overlapping widgets and weather icons, etc.)
Idk. Just a thought I had. I still have a blank screen with just the forecast on it and have no idea what I want to do with the rest of the space. Instead of being selfish and asking for myself I figured something new could be started to help other people who have that same, um, themer's block.

[Q] AOKP8.2SE - No NavBar in ROM Control

Dear all,
since I'm new, I'm not allowed to post questions in this AOKP 8.2 SE thread.
At first of all: I really love this AOKP Ice Cold Sandwich
I have a question regarding the custom Navigation Bar feature for
AOKP 8.2 Ice Cold Sandwich Summer Edition
for HTC Desire HD.
I can't find the menu item Navigation Bar.
2nd Question is:
Where do I get these lovely weather widget and date wigdet?
I searched the market for a long time but didn't find these widgets.
Could anyone please tell me the names of the widgets and how to enable missing menu item Navigation Bar for HTC Desire HD?
I did a complete wipe before installing AOKP 8.2 SE.
Regards
t-liner

HRHR
That's a good approach, I dont't understand why this forum exists when I'm not allowed to post a new thread...
That does not make any sense in my opinion.
I got helped several times in this forum by reading instructions and following to instructions.
But posting seems to be preserved to the "gods".
OK - here I am - a new member, about to raise to god mode.
Honestly spoken - this is contra-productive - isn't it?
