So I installed a CM9 ROM and it has Titanium backup pre-installed as a system app, how do I TOTALLY remove it? I tried deleting it from /system/app. Where are the rest of it's files?
question...why are you trying to delete it?
And after deleting it from system/apps what other files are you taking about?

I just want to uninstall it. No specific reason.
What files? That's exactly what I'm asking

interesting. titanium is pretty much the only app with enough power to uninstall completely most other apps. its like what would you use to clean the inside of a bottle of bleach? different bleach? lol
also not sure what you mean by 'rest of its files'? delete it from system/app/ and then reboot.
Have you tried Links2SD, it also has super powers similar to Titanium Backup, and will allow you change it from a system app to an user app, and then to uninstall it.

Have you read that you are answering a post from july? There is no need to revive such an old thread to increase your post count.
Actually. This is still an issue. I'll try that app. Thanks a lot

First go into Super User and revoke access. Then I would re-grant it to see if it works. Then uninstall app and re-install.

Just about to say this, at first i had alot of problems with rom toolbox and then i noticed the first time i opened it i declined superuser access and it was blocked.
Nope. Everything ok with superuser rights. Just keep mucking around. Using the system apks now and doing everything directly instead of using the app.
Getting angry with it. Lol

Systemui from neoV ( blue statusbar)
I had to sideload a Korean music app (Melon / 멜론) because it's not downloadable outside Korea, per it's link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iloen.melon&hl=en
Anyway, I read that if you sideload an app that is on the Play Store with it's correct app name, it will automatically attach to your account. However, I do not find this to be the case, as I have had it for some weeks now and there is a newer version out but I don't see it on My Apps in Play Store, and if I access it's direct page through the app with that link, there is a giant black bar that basically says "F U BUDDY, NO DICE" covering where the "update / uninstall" buttons normally are.
My question is - has it just not attached because it's not allowed in the USA? Or... if I buy Titanium Backup Pro and try to attach it that way, will the updates start working (since I already have the app installed) ?
I'm just curious because I already have an account with Melon and can technically use the app but would prefer not to have to keep sideloading updates.
I tried using some VPN application to connect through Japan (I know this is not the same as Korea ) after stopping Play Store and wiping it's data and cache, and turning off mobile data (wiped everything while in Airplane mode) but that didn't make a difference.
Thanks in advance!
I decided to buy Titanium Backup Pro and try force-attaching it. Still doesn't show up in Play Store and if I get it's link open externally still has the black bar over the area where update / open / uninstall should be

Hi, I can't uninstall apps on my Moto G, and by uninstall apps I mean any app, not only mods, also the apps I downloaded from Google Play, when I try to uninstall an app the phone reboots but it doesn't uninstall it.
I have this custom ROM installed:

I don't know what I have to do. Please, help me
That is probably a bug from the rom, but you can unnistal the app using root explorer, just delete the app's apk.

It also happened to me with PA RC1 and that was the only way. Install root explorer, go to data->app, delete the apk from the app you want to uninstall and after this reboot phone and the app is no longer there.

Did u maybe patched whatsapp+ with lucky patcher? If yes and you just uninstalled whatsapp+, then a special file remained which is causing this problem (i think it is called odex file)
Problem can be fixed by deleting this file through lucky patcher i think.
Hope that will help
