Hi there! Does anyone knows whether a screen hang/freezes would affect the phone performance?
And what about apps (games/doc, basically high ram, cpu, graphics usage) :
1-when it hangs and you could get to task manager and force stop app
2-When it hangs you need to click & click lock button
3-When it hangs you need to restart device (with the option menu able to pop out during screen hangs)
4-When it hangs and you can't do ANYTHING about it (which means what left is to take off battery)

Hi all,
I have an apps idea but I am not a developer and thus will really love if a developer will try to do it for the communities.
It's to check when is your phone ready to be use after a reboot.
Often the time, I must look at my widget continuously to know if the phone has gotten stable to use after a reboot or not. So, I guess this would be a nice addition.
The idea is that the apps should start very early in the boot up process and monitors the CPU usage continuously.
If the CPU usage is less than 10% (or any other value) for 10 seconds (or longer), then the apps will prompt the user, either by a toaster, or via notification, or via sound/vibrate etc.
After the user learns that, the apps will shut down itself and no longer takes up any memory or juice.
What do you all think?
I had the same idea, and solved it with this tiny and handy application : CPU Notify
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.beemer.cpunotify&feature=search_result
It is loaded at boot time, and you can observe that the CPU is at 100%. When it goes down to botton (green) steadily, the phone is ready.
I keep this application constantly since it is very small and battery friendly. It shows your phone activity like task manager in tray icon in Windows world.
Hi,
From last few weeks, I am getting random lag in my phone. Everything just moves in frames. I checked CPU load using android system info and found that service 'com.motorola.blur.service.main' consumes 100% CPU usage (also it shows 2 processes running for same). Also, some times service 'android.process.acore' too shows CPU usage as 100% (but phone does not lags at that time).
Any solution for that?
Another strange issue I am facing is that whenever I connect my phone to laptop/desktop in media mode and the phone is unlocked, random clicks starts happening itself (like bluetooth is turned on, data turned off, random shortcut on home screen gets clicked)
I have JB leak1 installed and phone is unrooted.
Thanks,
Deepak Anand.
Hi guys, I'm running stock 4.4.3 and franco r53, and have run into an issue.
When I am listening to music, and access snapchat or something like a audio piece on whatsapp, it freezes, and even exiting takes some time. After killing the apps that have stopped, audio on the device is also soundless. A quick check at system monitor shows CPU at 100% load and cores are locked to maximum frequency. Also when powering down it hangs at the black screen after "system is shutting down"
Does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks
Heyo everybody.
Just wanted to notice again what's the problem of my power consumption. On most (new) games with this "beast" my screen kinda blinks and gets the darker and starts lagging. Maybee it's the problem of Ram.
Mobile phone manager shows 2,3 avalaible of ram
Cpu x / cpu z etc. Shows 1,3 avalaible of ram.
And phone by itself says that it has 4gb ram capacity.
So it's just 30% avalaible of ram.
The phone is slow. What could i do for that?
Thanks.
It all depends on how your phone is setup.
Apps that connect automatically to net, auto updates, apps that automatically run at startup screen brightness etc etc and apps running at the time..

So what should i do?
It happens intermittently and has happened for the almost 2 years since I bought it. It has been a minor annoyance which gets annoying in certain scenarios. I have waited for a update to hopefully fix it and have tried removing or changing setting of suspected culprits. However to no success. My device has had a factory reset 3 times and this still happened during a fresh install. No third party apps should be accountable.
During regular use:
1. Screen will turn off and the device will lock
2. After about 2 seconds I will be able to turn the screen on which will display the lock screen.
3. The lock screen will be blank with my wallpaper, the lock screen widgets (time, date, text, shortcuts.) Will eventually load in within 5 seconds, this could be instant or delayed up to 5 seconds.
4. I will finally be able to unlock the device where I'll be greeted with an empty home screen. The launcher however will restart. All of the UI elements will slowly load back, including the notification bar.
5. After about 5-10 seconds. My device will become functional and up to speed as usual. Apps may have lost their memory/recent data. (Eg: YouTube restarts to home menu, chrome page will have to reload.)
To me it sounds like a memory overload. Perhaps an app is causing a memory leak? RAM is faulty or succumbing to SEU's due to poor quality materials. Battery or power regulator fault causing voltage surge or sag resulting in MIUI crashing.
I'm really not sure
I have been looking for the issue online every now and then. However I cannot find anything.
Anyone else had this issue? Anyone know better than me and have an idea?
I very much like this device and this is the only issue I'm having so far.
