Hello, wanted to ask a quick question. I'm going to Windsor ON for a week this weekend and wanted to know what would be the lowest cost prepaid plan if any to call US?
I'm currently using prepaid Cricket which I doubt works in Canada.... Anyone else care to share ideas please do lol.
Thanks In Advanced!!

I want to know basically would it affect my potential future contract with T-Mobile if I didn't pay Sprint. I thought of leaving Sprint but can't afford to pay etf(on a family plan) I wanted to be with T-Mobile in the first place but they wouldn't accept me in the past because of inssuficient(don't judge me if I misspelled this) credit history. I never had a late payment with Sprint. Could someone please let me know if this could set me back with T-Mobile

Hello fellow xda members! I will be visiting Montreal in September and I was wondering if anyone could help me out: I am currently using a Straight Talk prepaid SIM with my International galaxy nexus, and it will not work once I cross the border. Since I'm only going for one weekend, I don't want to buy an entire month's worth of service from a Canadian prepaid. Does anyone know of a cheap alternative? Thanks in advance.

I'm currently I'm Verizon and debating on jumping ship to a prepaid service. Can anyone make any suggestions on which one and anything other info?
Thanks!
EDIT: Also anyone had any luck with the ThunderBolt on and of these?

I've heard that Page Plus uses the VZW network so you'd at least have good coverage. Other than that, I don't know.
There are instructions here on how to do it:

Page plus will work but you won't be able to get 4G. I believe there are currently no prepaid phone companies that can use Verizons 4g.

You could just get your Thunderbolt flashed to Verizon prepaid unlimited everything for $50 a month.
You can't get 4g, only 3g but it's unlimited and only $50 a month, what else can a person ask for
I just heard about this Net10 service from a friend today about their cellphone plans. I looked it up online to see what they have to offer and from the looks and price wise, much cheaper then Verizon. My wife and I spend about 150 a month for 2 phones unlimited data still. We love having good service but that price is beginning to be a bit to much for us right now. So i was wondering, if there is anyone using Net10 that could let me know how service is, the pros and cons. As of now, it looks like a good deal to me and wouldn't mind taking that route. It also says you can use your own phone. It has to be GSM unlocked and wont use Verizon or Sprint phones unless like i said, its unlocked. So that's pretty sweet....any input and/or advice about Net10 would be great. Thanks

If you're willing to do a bit of work, you can get unlimited everything through T-Mobile for $30 (or less) per month. See these threads for more information. There certainly are more threads here on XDA, never mind other websites.

Oh, and I have no idea about Net10

Whats going on guys?
So with me finally breaking off my family plan with my mom, im getting my own carrier and account. with that i'm planning on getting the M9. Currently i have Verizon, which i dont mind, however, ill be switching carriers i was thinking sprint because as of current deals by me, they will offer to pay the verizon cancellation fees. idk about AT&T if they will do the same, i was gonna price all 3 of them out. anywoot, my main question is this: How is the service with Sprint and AT&T? After i graduate High school, im enlisted with the military which means ill be traveling around a lot. i have no idea where ill be getting stationed at all, but i wanted to make sure i would have service. The M9 is going to be both a phone and a computer for me for a while and i dont want to have to rely on just Wifi. my other question was, if i get stationed out of the US, how would i still be able to use the phone besides wifi?
anyone?
I just switched to Verizon after 4 years with Sprint, it's like a whole new world. I'd never go back, the data is too slow

That's what I thought. I was on AT&T for a while and when I switched to Verizon it was much much faster.
How about Tmobile serviceand coverage?
this really isn't a device discussion....
That said, it really depends on your area.
