Hey guys!
I've swapped my old Xperia Z3(due to the issue with the USB Flap) with a new one. The new one lets you wake it up by pressing either the Volume up, volume down or power button. But it does only do that if it is connected to my magnet connector. This is not normal is it?!

Back when I had my Nexus One, I had to use trackball wake since my power button broke. Reports of power buttons breaking were rampant. However, I haven't heard reports of the Sensation's power button breaking. So is using volume wake even necessary on this device?
some people have problem with the power button failing sometimes.. others just like to use the vol. buttons . i dont use it
I use the volume wake because I find it more convenient. And even though there have been no reports of the power button breaking, it seems on the fragile side ;D
The power button on my Z3 is practicaully dead. If the phone turns off it takes a good 10 minutes of trying to get the power button to work. Is there a way i can remap it so i can turn it on from completely off using another button? Or is there some trick I can do with a USB cable to force it to boot? Thanks

You can put an invisible power button on your status bar or navbar but I'd want my button fixed.
Does that require a root? But yeah if the phone dies I'm screwed anyone knows how to remove the button
Dear All,
My OPO has issue with its power button. Few months earlier the power button has gone almost half portion of it towards inside the device. I could see the power button quiet a bigger part outside the device panel. First it reduced to half and now the power button has completely gone inside and now power button and opo side panel are all on the same level.
Has anyone got into this issue? Should i replace the button?
Note: Power button still works when i press with my nail strongly.

Try reattaching the back styleswap cover.
Hello, I have a question about the volume control button Do you have this button a bit more reluctant? There is no characteristic click like a finishing button for the phone ?
No issues on my device. All buttons press the same with the same pressure and all click fine. If yours is being stubborn I would grab that warranty replacement ASAP.
