[Q] I need to root my D6643 - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I got mine D6643 with the build 23.0.A.106. Anyone knows how can I proceed with this root?

you can use the D6603 ftf file to root your D6643. I did it with mine, and when I created the pre-rooted package with PRFCreator, I created it with a proper D6643 firmware.

supposedly this windows-only utility can root miro/tipo/j regardless of the firmware.
i managed to root my girlfriend's miro which has the newest firmware without downgrading.

Whats the issue with following those instructions. You are basically flashing a completely stock ROM to your phone, just an older one that is able to be rooted...

I rooted my device using KingRoot on 5.1.1, installed NUT's dual recovery, flashed SuperSU and deleted KingRoot
