Hit the power button to wake phone up and a black screen with big blue letters said ENCRYPTION UNSUCESSESFUL followed by information basically saying that the encryption was interrupted and the data on the phone is not longer accessible. Then it says that you can resume using your phone after performing a factory reset and there is a place on the screen that says Reset Phone. Nothing happens when you tap this. I have soft booted using external keys and I hard booted using external keys and I have wiped data but still this screen comes up.. Is there any way to restore the phone so I can keep using it ??

My phone got crazy yesterday:
i don't know exactly when it started but when i start my phone up it says Media Scanning.
Then it says media scanned and then it goes like showing on the screenshot attached for hours, even after restarting.
I am not rooted and on gingerbread 2.3.5

I decided to restore the phone but when i want to do that it wants a samsung account password which i forgot.
I tried also hard reset with dialing *2767*3855#. phone tried to shut down but didnt do it can i restore another way?
I also saw a video on youtube for gs2 with said that i have to press vol up home and power when the phone is ON until it reboots to android system recovery. then do factory reset there.
But will it work on our phone without root ?
Please help my phone starts annoying me

Yes buddy. You can reboot your phone to Stock recovery (as you said you are not rooted and i hope u have not installed CWM). Switch off ur phone and switch on. When samsung logo appears, just press menu key+Volume up button. It will boot into recovery mode. From there you can wipe data/Factory reset your phone.

Hello,
I'm an Android noob. My uncle asked me to try and fix his Asus TF300T tablet. Not sure what happened but it will boot, when at password screen will lock up and reboot itself. If fast enough, am able to put in password but within a couple seconds will lock up and reboot itself. So it's stuck in a reboot loop. Am able to hold down volume and power to get to screen which has RCK, Android, and data wipe. When selecting RCK I get error. If at all possible, I would like to keep the data as it hasn't been backed up. Have tried a hard reset without any change. Not sure if it is bricked or not. It's not unlocked as far as I can tell and I'm not sure what version the OS is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What can I do now to make my phone work again?

I'm pretty good with computers, but I have never worked on cellphone ROM mods.
Please help me in details.

I did Hard Reset and I'm now able to see language selection screen, but it immediately turns off.
I'm also able to see Android is Updating screen occasionally but as soon as it goes to the language selection screen, it turns off itself.

I had boot loops in other devices and the only solutions I found on line was to Flash ROM from recovery.
how do you do that on my alcatel phone?
