ARHD kernels

can someone give me a link to the best kernel to use with ARHD rom with good battery life and performance
kernels
Anyone? Any kernel suggestions and why?
I can't link any kernels for you but I can tell you they're pretty easy to find on this forum. Try looking in the dedicated ARHD ROM thread, it lists a couple of kernels. I myself have good battery life and performance with the Faux123.
ARHD comes already with 3 kernel choices while flashing. Stock, sebastians and faux.
I use Faux underclocked to 1.08GHz. Great performance and really good battery life!
Phil
I found Faux's or Sebastian's good with ARHD.
Faux & Sebastian
Do some research on the forums...
Then, try faux or SebastianFM. I prefer faux, because it's really stable and improves the battery life. But try to read other threads, and opinion about these two.

Do you prefer battery or performance?
Why do you need links if ARHD comes with stock kernel and also with other 2 custom kernels? (Faux and Sebastian)
Faux - Battery
SebastianFM - Performance, more like stock with improvements

[Q] best kernel for nexus s

hello..ive come from lg g2x forum..there we dont have more of the options for roms and kernels...and coming here is like getting lost in the wolrd of roms and kernels
i know these kind of topics are never appreciated but some pointer wud be much appreciated...
need just smoothness and speed...thats it..dont care about battery..also i thought nexus s has project butter implemented but it isnt that smooth..
anyway some help please ...
what android version?
oops sorry... cm10.1
Try Marmite for smoothness and stability, or Trinity, but i'm not sure that your phone can handle it (no voltage settings!)..
Marmite is probably the best choice
Marmite is the way to go bro~
It is better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for what you are not
If you are looking for project butter, try some of the 4.1.2 ROMs. The 4.2 ROMs are still maturing and aren't that smooth on Nexus S.
Marmite latest version is a good kernel.
Sent from my Nexus S
Matr1x kernel overclocked to 1.32 is smooth and stable
thalamus kernel is smooth and snappy, really stable, but less features
The majority of these forums seem to prefer marmite, but I only tried up to 7.1.3, before switching back to matr1x, so I couldn't tell you.
I really think it depends on the rom you are planning to run. Each kernel works/reacts differently with each rom. Usually if you read through the threads for a specific rom you can get a good indication of which kernel works best for it and which setting in each kernel give the best performance. JMHO
which kernel...
which one works better with my nexus s (jellybam 5.1.0)
matr1x vs cm10 vs marmite

I personally prefer Marmite, it works really smooth on my Nexus S, especially when using Jellybean!
AW: [Q] best kernel for nexus s
As you can see everybody preferes a different kernel! I rly like matr1x!
I suggest you try out yourself wich one is best for you! Also try different settings! I use row io scheduler and smartass v2 governor...
i tried almost latest, stable, weekly and nightly roms (like jellyshot final, rbj, gamerz rom,cm10.1 stable, hellybean, slimbean, xenonhd, carbon, PA, thinking bridge, miui, avatar and jellybam
with the different cfs, bfs, vodoo, non vodoo, stable and weekly kernels (like air kernel, matr1x, trinity, devil kernel, marmite, zxenz kernel vta2 kernel) and the best kernel for me (crespo) is marmite 2nd to the best is devil kernel.. and marmite 8.7 bigmem is working best in any rom..
now im testing the thinking bridge latest rom with these kernels.. XD
Not really kernel related, but since I am running marmite v8.7 bigmem, I just ran quadrant & I've only gotten a score of 2046. Other scores were 2033 & 1991, idk how others seem to get such high scores. I've just recently pretty much started fresh due to my phone having problems, so I am in the process of restoring some of my backed up apps.
Quadrant is crap, run antutub instead.

Aero kernel.
In every custom kernel, you can slow down the processor limit to longer the battery life.

kernel choice?

Hey guys I just got my one plus one two days ago. I am coming from
Nexus 5. I put mahdi ROM on because I heard on line it was one of the top ROMs.
My question is what kernel can I use to help improve battery but not loose too much
In performance.. Thanks in advance...
Best kernel for you is to find out by trying different ones. I tried both AK kernel and Franco kernel and they work good for me.

Rom/Kernel

I wonder which combination of rom and kernel do you guys recommend for strictly battery life!?
currently on cm13 with built in kernel. it's not bad but are there better options especially after tweaking the kernel?
greetings
Use what you think is best, every device reacts differently to a kernel. Flash the available options see what fits best for you.
I recommend fire kernel, my kernel (ruthless) or Optimus kernel.
Honestly, without significant tweaking, stock rom and kernel provide the best battery life.
