Wrong imei and no service - General Questions and Answers

I have a wrong imei number on my samsung galaxy s3,
I know my imei number and i don't know how to change it.
I see my providers and if i select one, and than i want to call someone than it says:
not registred to a network or no service.

What happened to your phone that your imei is wrong? Did you install a custom rom recently?

yes i did and i've no .bak file, (i know it's stupid)i've now a 0049... imei number and i don't want to pay for stuff.

The Verizon 3g model but not being used with their service. I just use WiFi.

[Q] SIM Unlock SGH-T959V HELP!

Hi,
Can anyone please provide a detailed guide on how i can SIM unlock (So that i can use it on a different carrier than T-Mobile) an Galaxy S 4G (SGH-T959V). I heard there is a way to do it though without paying any money and waiting. I think it was like bootloader or finding an unlock code though a thing called blue box

Depends on when you got the phone, how you purchased it, and a whole lot of other random weird details.
But no, it's not just "unlocking is illegal now" because that would make things easy and mean lawyers can't make more money.

Problem with diag file (PG88DIAG.nbh)

Hello.
I have, a question: Is there anyone who would have the problem that I have? When I run the file (PG88DIAG.nbh) in bootloader of course, screen shows me a red font message " IMEI NotAllowed" and below my imei number. I search google but i can not find anything

No access points??

I have a unlocked and rooted note 5. With moar rom. I'm unable to put in apn's. No access point names. Only thing showing under mobile networks is network mode then lte/cdma and cdma. And data roaming. Any ideas??
You have to go to ##data# menu, then edit, then go to apn settings and edit apns in there.
