Use ADB for simcard problem ? - General Topics

Two days ago the SIM card slot (both) didn't work.
Both slots (gsm and gsm + WCDMA) can't read any type of sim (different company)
I would like know if is possible use ADB for check/scan if SIM card reader works
I didn't found any hardware's damage on it.
So , the problem is probably in the software
I hope in your help
Regards

How can i check whether my sim card is 64k pr not??? The reason i m asking this is that I m planning to flash a custom ROM in my Micromax A110 and many users are complaining that there old sim cards are not working whereas 64k sim cards are working. G8142 - dual SIM - 3UK VoLTE/VoWiFi

I am new to all this flashing firmware to Android phones,
and wanted to ask, if it is possible to have as I understand reading this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xz-premium/help/ee-uk-volte-t3625010
amss_fsg_maple_hutch_uk_volte_vowifi_tar.mbn flashed onto the G8142 - dual SIM version to get access to Band 20?
I can see that 3UK still offers the phone "single SIM - G8141"

My Phone Software Version is:
1306-8501_47.1.A.12.119
Current Modem Config:

first you must confirm your phone card slot are dual sim card slot ,you can buy a dual sim version card slot and put it in your single sim version,i have tested ,my xzp is single sim card but i
found it sd card slot is a dual purpose card slot. i recommend you flash oreo dual sim version firmware and unlock your phone, root. modified the system build.prop ,find "persist.radio.apm_sim_not_pwdn=1" change the"1"to"0",restart your phone and dual sim will work with SDcard together

Hi @7evenfone
As this thread suggest,
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-xz/how-to/dual-sim-sd-card-one-t3475651
it does not work .... You can not use 2 SIM cards and SD card together ....
Anyway, my question is about using my dual G8142 with 2 SIM cards (3UK Slot1 and VodafoneCZ Slot2) "no SD Card" on Band 20 = 800Mhz network with my 3UK SIM and therefore being able to make VoLTE calls and possibly Wi-Fi calling instead of their ThreeIn Touch app that sucks ...

[Security Question]Can the SIM card detect the phone's specific firmware

Hello XDA Forum,
Do you know if SIM cards can detect the phone's specific firmware?
SIM cards can access and store general information from your phone like IMEI and other security keys, messages and call numbers... Now let's say I have installed Liniage OS or any other custom or different official firmware from the default. Can the SIM card still have access to those bits of information?
