Hello Sir,
First of alll i am sorry for my bad english...
I have a Karbonn A1 device non rooted....with stock rom and stock recovery..
But Few days ago I got all software such as the rom flashing tool i.e."Common Downloader" and also the stock rom files such as recovery.img, userdata.img, system.img etc. I also downloaded stock rom files of Sony Ericsson W8..... so while installing stock rom on my Karbonn A1... I replaced Karbonn's system.img with Xperia w8's system.img..... while installing at 91% it showed "download fail"..... and my device restarts...
Now my device has started but system force closes after every 2 seconds.... When I think to again install the stock rom back.... My computer does not showing COM Port of my device... also my stock recovery is working..... So Pls pls pls ps Help If any one knows how to solve this problem.....

I have installed the correct drivers of my device and even tried on another computer also.. but still it is not showing the COM ports.

Now I m Eager to Know about Kernel Updating and want Want to Update with ThunderZap.
But i am Worried That it Can Cause any issue with my Phone!
So What would u Suggest??
Plz Give me The Link of Latest Updated Version of ThunderZap and Step By Step Guide For This.
If In Case i Found Any Problem What Should I Do??

flash stock rom v1 then use framaroot
Post a screenshot of what exactly happens when you use Framaroot.
Screenshot can be taken by pressing the power button and the volume button together.
@ abhimanyu how can he flash a ROM when his phone is not rooted? :S
@archz2 ..... he can flash stock ROM by using sp flash tool..... root not necessary...
search on the forums for the steps...

step1- install CWM by sp Flash tool
step2- update subinary.zip file by CWM recovery

I'm creating this thread to gather development informations about Acer Liquid Z530 and 630 series.
I own the Z530, right now it's nearly impossible impossible to install Custom roms on the device.
The bootloader seems to be locked by default, I tried to unlock it but ported roms can't still boot.
the "fastboot oem device-info" always ends with error. It says command not found.
I also tried to compile custom kernel but the process always failed because of erros that I can't fix right now.
I'm trying to port CM12.1 from Blackview Alife P1. The first attempt failed even after patching the boot.img (to use stock zImage with cm12.1 ramdisk). I also tried to compile a cm12.1 compatible kernel using sources provided by Acer and Cyanogenmod toolchain; it ended with erros as said before.
I suspect the bootloader to be the problem. If any of you guys have a solution, tip, suggestion etc. please comment.
To enable unlocking, an option is available in developer options.

If you successfully create this ROM, we can finally have a quick setting of a pure Lollipop device

Um unfortunately I'm not that kind of guy who create ROMs and stuff such as yourself so I don't know anything about fixing bugs or anything .-.

please help me about my acer z530, i rooted my phone using kingroot and downloaded the rom tool i install a boot animation and then after i change the root into Super Su, my phone stuck and i turn it off by removing the battery and when i turn it on im stuck in boot animation then i try to hard reset still the same. please help

Flash it on original stock rom via Sp flash tool it ill done successfully device works normally ... Im already tried....:laugh:
