[END OF SUPPORT] [BOOTANIMATION] Z1C BIOS boot animation - v4.0 [KK]/v5.2 [LP] Final - Xperia Z1 Compact Themes and Apps

So, I created a nice boot animation in Windows BIOS style, using LorDestinY's tutorial.
The FPS equals almost exactly the boot up time of the device, so no big delay.
Images are contained in multiple folders, so no black screen, and have the size of 720x1080 for the Z1C model.
The information used for the lines are as real as it goes, and is based on the D5503 model.
Have fun!

Hav you tried the other version? Maybe you have a different screen resolution, can you check back your original bootanimation.zip? And by saying "Android sign" you mean the last part of this mod?
Has anoyne else this problem?

just tried it (the .157 720x version) and all works just fine. all animation is shown as it should. good work my friend NFS.:good: @mosespl did you rename the downloaded file?because if you don't rename it to "bootanimation.zip" and set right permissions,i think that no animation will be shown.

Guys false alarm. I checked again and I don't know why permission didn't set properly but now I changed it again and everything works fine. Good job

OK, so there isn't any problem hopefully.
Thank you all for the support, I hope no other problem pops up, but if there is any, please say it right away!

This works well on my Z3C Z3 Compact (I used the "Z1Cv3.5 [.157], (720x1280)"). Though it boots a bit too fast to see it all... still neat.
Thanks very much

Hi, tried both resolutions of. 157, doesn't work, only android logo shows up. Is there anything to do with bootloader, locked, unlocked? Permissions I set up as for native bootanimation. rw-r--r--. What could be wrong? Any suggestions? Thanks
Or maybe the way it's been pushed to the device? I just used file explorer.

Please, check mosespl suggestion, there shouldn't be any problem with the .zip. It's not bootloader related, but the kernel should be stock-based, other kernels can change the way they handle bootanimmations.

Sorted!

Thanks,
now it works, problem was copying the whole archive to device, so i droped it to dropbox and afterwards direct downloaded it to device, after that it works.

Tomorrow, I will upload the final version of this boot animation, which is based on a new template, and fixes some bugs. Google Drive links, and flashable zips will be up, too.

It looks very nice

good work (once again) bro..!
But the android logo doesn't appear to my bootanimation..!! :S

Try changing the FPS value to 9 or 10. It just boots too fast. Please let me know if you find a better value.
Πάντως, σ' ευχαριστώ πολύ!
EDIT: Please try this and let me know if you can now see that all. Google Drive

Hi OP, the devhost links are inverted, the android logo version is actually directing to the one without. That might explain the issue mentioned above.
Thanks for your work

Welcome to the unofficial CyanogenMod 10.2 nightlies
The build start time is at 03:01 UTC every sunday night and should be uploaded soon after. If at anytime the builds are not there, then there was a problem building the ROM, and we will have a look at it ASAP.
These builds are compiled from the latest CyanogenMod repos and device repos on device, kernel and vendor files.
Furthermore these builds are multiDPI, i.e. you can run the rom at any dpi between 160 and 240 while maintaining hi-res assets.
Initial install
Make sure you are updated to stock LG ICS update (v20d) prior flashing the first time.
And remember to wipe data/cache
(These steps need only to be done once. Later updates can be just flashed over an existing installation without the need of a wipe)
You need to have a custom recovery installed in order to flash these builds;
e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859662
And as always: I take no responsibility whatsoever for raging, screaming, crying, frustration, failing, confusion, dead kittens, etc.
Download builds
Download Google Apps
Changes
Upstream changes
Devicetree commits
Kernel commits
Tip: If you want to have your density settings persist over updates and don't want to edit build.prop with every update, use local.prop.
create a file named local.prop in your /data root (i.e. /data/local.prop) with the following contents (overrides ro.sf.lcd_density in build.prop):
Code:
qemu.sf.lcd_density=160

@milaq, I'm not really a member of this forum. I only come here to flash updates on my mom's phone. From what I saw I thought you had stopped developing for prada. Well, thanks for the work.

You get it wrong. He thanks all of contributors and other devs for help, as everyone work together to make roms for our phone.
As of now, it looks like its alpha build or even pre-alpha.
If you want to test the marshmallow on z1c you can install the vanir newest build, but the sim card isn't working.
Maybe someone knows if FXP or Vanir will make new build as of now they aren't update for a while.
Looks good. For me, no WiFi, and mobile network in and out. Still the best yet. Thanks
Seems like recovery doesn't show ext sdcard when on this rom, so can't restore backup on ext card, unless you flash a different rom, then reboot recovery...

Definitively not rom-related. Are you using real recovery (one can boot directly into recovery from powered-off device without system/boot.img installed, that is)?

Yes. I'll check it again, (I'm currently back on 5.1 rom), but it was pretty clear - when I booted recovery from AOKP mm rom, there was no sign of micro SD card, either in 'restore', 'file manager', or 'mount'. Then, I flashed RR 5.1 rom, rebooted recovery, and it was back.

it doesn t matter if you flash it with your TWRP but better use the boot.img in the rom as OP suggests so.
Yeah so camera is not working yet... There is no MM rom other than this for our device, so it would be awesome if you guys could fix these issues. Thanks for your hard work!
Twrp 3.0 dont find my SD card.

RIDICULOUSLY smooth experience!! Tweaked interactive governors! 7/10/16

Root is required here. I take no responsibility for bricking your phone. There are multiple boot scripts attached. GhostPepper, Butterfly, DarkSpice among others. My personal favorite is the legendary GhostPepper!
I followed this guide. Here is the thread specifically designed for Nexus 6P!
There are two ways of doing this
1) Replacing your system post boot script. I STRONGLY recommend this! "init.qcom.post_boot.zip"
Decompress your choice of boot script. Copy the file named "init.qcom.post_boot.sh" to system/etc. Reboot. Then press the thanks button!Booting an overheated phone results in a different combination of settings thanks to core control
You might have to apply max and min scaling frequencies the first time you boot
2) EX Kernel Manager profile. "gov_profiles.zip"
Decompressing the profiles in your main storage>elementalx>gov_profiles (make the folder). You can also input the values with any other free kernel tweaking app such as kernel auditor or trickster mod.
Make sure you disable core control and enable msm_thermal under CPU.
During boot, unlock your phone and wait for the exkm settings toast. Otherwise, "above_hispeed_delay" reverts to default.
Let me know which modification you like best!

Hey, interesting find. Thanks.
I found that property did nothing in my work - the new status bar layout XML from MiGlobe must have something I missed.
For now in OMP I just modified SystemUI to always return false for an isNotch method, which solved my particular problem.
How does it look when rotated to landscape?
Can you give link for ADB? Or will the one I'm using for flashing twrp work?

Does this update include in-band audio for Bluetooth ?
Thanks
FYI: it's a slightly newer version than the official Beta. Beta is 9.0.1.101 and the version in Firmware Finder is 9.0.1.157 so hopefully they have fixed at least a few issues with the beta version and hopefully not just removed logging, updated the Google security patches and relabeled it as final.
Hey guys. I'm trying to use the dload method but it fails at 5% ... Also, all the methods from FF are not working for me except the standard download.
How should I proceed ?
Thanks
Do you have unlock bootloader?
Is another solution, but must have unlocked bootloader.

1.There is no working pie dload archives for now...
'building your own' dload won't work.
2.FF erecovery only works for approved firmware

You must have OEM unlocked and debugging USB in developer options, root and unlocked bootloader.
Must have to HiSuite installed (or another adb drivers).
First download this tool: beta flashy 0.2
Then extract to desktop.
Download firmware via Firmware Finder.
Move update.zip to beta-flashy_0.2 / ZIPS-HERE folder,
Move STF-L09_hw_eu/update_full_STF-L09_hw_eu.zip beta-flashy_0.2 / ZIPS-HERE folder and rename it to update_all_hw.
Now connect your phone in fastboot mode to computer and cllick to FLASH.bat in beta-flashy_0.2 folder.
Then read instructions on screen.
Done

I have this rom on my wifes phone and works good.
Settings menu looks another.
GSM signal and Wi-Fi are to left side.
New icons on launcher.
When try change volume, have vertical bar on the right side.
Several new features(wallet, camera, gallery, digital hygiene in settings menu).
Bugs?
I thinks none.
But is no TWRP recovery.
I can't root device (i tried flash patched boot.img but not work).
Root with Magisk, patched boot.img
