[Completed] [Q] bricked OT-991S - XDA Assist

Hello developers!
My phone is alcatel OT-991s tct mobile. While trying to root the phone, I bricked it. It is not recognized when plugged in usb. Only blue light comes on.
Need help unbricking it please! Here are the steps to brick it
Followed the guide at
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38337401#post38337401
Created scatter file with MtkDroidTools v2.5.3. Backed up the whole ROM with SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1224.01 and tried to write back only recovery image created by MtkDroidTools. Write failed at some point but the phone was still working fine.
I got the later version SP-Flash-Tool-v5.1352.01 and tried to read the ROM again in order to back it up. This failed at some point and the phone got as heavy as a brick.
Looking back I realized that the scatter file might not have been read correctly by SP-Flash-Tool because the end address is all 0x0000000. It looks fine when opened in text editor and compared to other scatter files from the web.
Tried playing with meta mode (by pressing down, up button, menu button etc) unsuccessfully. There are 5 test? points on the back of the phone after removing the cover.
Thanks!

[Completed] [Q] flashed the wrong radio.zip... can i fix it?

I accidently flashed the zv5_radio.zip (which i downloaded from the root all the volts forum thread titled zv5 full update- odexed and deodexed for my own phone, an lg volt ls740) onto my husbands lg tribute ls660p, and now the screen stays blank. It still makes the boot up sounds and notifications as if its booting correctly and the computer still recognizes it, but if i try rebooting it to recovery or download mode, i have no idea if it works, and then the computer doesnt recognize it. I recently rooted his lg tribute and flashed twrp as the recovery.img successfully before flashing the volt radio.zip, the computer recognoze the phone in adb, but any rebooting stops that. I have no way to allow my computers rsa key on the phone either ive yet to find any .tot files or .kdz for the ls660 (stock or otherwise) or any .dll files for the lgflashtool either, cause im hoping that might be the answer. Please help. Or possibly a stock rom? The adb shell on the computer also says the device is not rooted or you do not have permission to do that, please help i read that i may have.overwritten tne aboot.img, but no luck finding any of those either. Thank you

Pro tip, never mess with your significant others phone. I've learned the hard way too

[Completed] I need help immediately.. Motorola Motoluxe XT615

Hi,
I wanted to install a ROM to this "old" phone, so first I did a backup with CWM but I moved it to my PC, to have more free space in the Motoluxe.
When I flashed the new ROM, I did first a format system and wipes... but then there's been an error and it cannot be flashed. Now, there's nothing installed on the phone, no ROM, no firmware I suppose, well, nothing. I've tried to install by RSDLite by pressing power button, volume down and camera button (red screen) but RSDLite does not detect my phone, I suppose that's why it has nothing installed inside...
If anyone can understand what's happened and has any solution to run any ROM again on it please...
Thank you so much everyone

[Completed] Cubot Note S - Stuck into Boot Loop

Hey, guys good afternoon. I have a Cubot Note S which I manage quite stupidly, to brick. The phone was rooted with KingRoot and I accidentally press to update to the latest software version from the Update Center of the phone and before it managed to complete, it showed an "ERROR" message. After that, I stuck into a boot loop. I've been searching the internet for a stock firmware of the phone in a .zip file because the Cubot has something like a stock Recovery mode, which I can boot to, to factory reset my phone, to boot into bootloader or apply an update through an sdcard etc. So far I only found a rom on needrom and it is in .rar and has many other irrelevant files in it. It has instructions below how to perform a clean flash of the ROM, but something goes wrong at the process. Either the SP-DMT (Flash Tool) doesn't work properly or my computer doesn't recognize my phone and I can't find the proper drivers for it. Has anyone ever been in this situation before with a chinese phone? Please help out with this because the cell phone belongs to a dear friend of mine and I can't afford to buy a new one these days. Thank you in advance.
