I opening this post to request some help to fix a small bug on my H60-L12.
I'm using B310 rom version, but on last week, i have noticed a error on my clock widget. I don't now why, my clock present a +8 hour error. My time zone is +0:00 London, Lisbon, Greenwich, and my location present my home town, but the clock present +8 hours. When i make a search i've noticed that the +8:00 time zone is from Peking/Beijing.

Same thing with me. I am using L02 and the issue started about 2 days ago. I am using the Weather Widget (free) as an alternative. Looks like the issue is directly with the huawei weather app.
I have checked if the gps works fine but it gives the right location.
I have force closed the weather app and cleared the cache
The system clock gives the right time only the weather app shows the incorrect time. I was thinking to do a full wipe or go back to emui 2.3
I have the same issue with 5.2.1 ROM. Its only appears when I set the location. Without location set the clock is correct.

I have managed to fix it. You would need root. Then follow the instruction from here:

Now the weather widget shows the correct time.

Look I tried to help. It is your choice whether you take it or not.
Changing the local prop can cause OTA issues. The device will still download the update but wont install it. I think once the update is available it is fairly easy to change the location and the language back. If you think this is a "messing around" then you should buy an international version next time and wont have any issue .

Haha, nice try. It was only an information for those who are not familiar with those things and follow other instructions and then cry that they can not update or brick their phones
Same problem ,after change /data/cust/prop to my location the widget weather doesnt appear but the clock is OK .Any other sugestion ?

Probably it´s a bug on weather.com.cn server.
I didn´t change anything and now it works like before.
Time is right without doing something in system...

My honor 6+ is an international version. I've noticed at many occasions that the current weather did not seem right according to what could be felt. So I started comparing current weather on two of my devices; Honor 6+ and Xperia Z. It's quite surprising because the default source on both the devices is accuweather.com and Honor 6+ reports thr current temperature to be 6'C and Xperia says its 1'C with London as the current location.
Can anyone think of anything that could be causing this? Although I bought the international version still sometimes it does show my location as Shenzen brrrrrrrrrrr. Its wierd.

Well now that i have WM6 "the real thing" i no longer had the weather from pocket weather that i once had. Is there a good weather program for WM6 because i can no longer find pocket weather where i got it from and would like a weather today item.

Best Place To Go For All Applications, Games And Video Is www.ppcwarez.org if your looking for weather go under search and type that in. Hope that helps. There all kinds of weather apps on that website.

There's WeatherPanel. Its basically free (the developer has stopped working on it and in their forums you can get a patch (or something, don't remember how that worked now) where it will continue to work.

You can go to the sbsh.net site to recover your reg key and then go to their forums to re-download the software. When my computer crashed awhile back, I lost my Word document that had all my reg keys. I sent my registration key request through the sbsh.net site and had an email with it in less than 5 minutes.

Does this program drain the battery a lot. I turned have it to auto update every 6 hours but still huge battery drain.. anybody else have this problem.. just wondering

I think it's a good idea that we DON'T promote the use of that site. I've used it before to get workarounds for programs I've bought, but never to rip anything off. JMHO and not being accusatory.

Ive been using wether panel for lil more than a year now, right now its on xplore 1.1, with a 15 min update interval, (update multiplier) u get fluid radar displays that way. My battery lasts for atleast 1 and half day with regular phone and some wifi use. This is the most functional and completely custoimizable(everything from icons to themes to display proportions) weather program ive used.
umm does neone have a skin for weather panel that only takes up 1 line?

Thanks...but doesn't update info on my TP2.
I have weekly reminders for when my check is supposed to be deposited and for bills and when I go to view the item it's fine but if I try to edit the reminder it always says it's on the next day and I can't change it to the correct way on my phone I can't really find anyone else with this issue and I don't really know how long it's been going on also sometimes on the edit page the from: part will be wrong but then the to: part will be right ex: from:Friday 4-23 to:Thursday 4-22 I couldn't get a screen shot of this tho, here are some screen shots to show .

yikes. id say get a new calender. no! lol. assuming your events are backedup? i bet a fresh wipe and flash would fix the issue.
I had the same problem awhile back. Seems like it went away when I rooted and loaded custom ROMs.
This is an issue with your time zone and all-day (24 hour) events. Your phone is starting an hour or so before midnight so your preview shows the event as a day early.
The solution is to update your Gmail time zone (or whatever calendar is at fault) to match your phone. I've had the same issue with Google's US Holidays calendar, and Arizona's lack of daylight savings means Sprint always screws up the network provided time zone.

It's the Android calendar that's messed up my normal online google calendar is fine, I think I might have found what it is, my phone is set to -4GMT which is wrong it's supposed to be -5GMT that's what everything else is set to (except my phone) on the phone -5 is bogota Columbia and I can only select it if I deselect automatic time (use network-provided values) and then it changes the time to an hour off(behind) any ideas to change this so that it's correct or is it the HTC/Android calendar that is screwed up?

You already have them in your phone.it's a simple matter of copying and renaming 5 png's. You can do it in less than 10 min with 7zip
Aside, I wonder if calendar reminders are incompatible with flan lock like the world clock? hmmm

im using some custom window transitions, which changed the taskbar icons a little. can i still as easily change these icons (im vaugly familiar with the 7zip method) without breaking w.t.?

hmm, I dont know much about transitions but I don't know why not. As long as the files are the same size you should be able to name the ones you want the same name as the ones that are currently being used. It should be pretty simple.
I had the plain ol' HTC Clock & Weather widget (you know the one in the pic below) working fine on my myTouch 4G in Chicago up until yesterday. Now, the weather has stopped updating and it says that the weather data cannot be updated. I can use WeatherBug just fine, my GPS is working, and if I use Beautiful Widgets and choose Google to update the weather as opposed to Accuweather, everything is fine. I can go to the accuweather website, I can do anything! But the widget is dead. There are no Hi/Lo numbers on the right and no animated icon.
Now, Beautiful Widgets is great, but I like that HTC widget. I called HTC and they said it might be hardware related? REALLY? I find that very hard to believe....
Anyone have any ideas what's up? I've seen some threads that reference issues like this in the past, but I don't see how they were resolved.

I dug around the myTouch 4G thread, but I'm not finding it. Someone else posted the same issue in Chicago also, but no one else seems to be responding yet....
Is it a carrier issue or and HTC issue? Do you know how it was resolved last time?

Sorry. I guess I'm a lousy searcher. I think I was using the wrong terms maybe? And the first link actually didn't return anything for me, but the rest was good to see. In any event, I really appreciate your help/input. I'm guessing this was another outage, especially since it's suddenly back to working - at least intermittently or right at this moment - in Chicago for the first time since Friday!
I'm just bummed that the HTC rep I spoke with suggested a factory reset (luckily I hadn't gotten around to it) or that it was a hardware issue! Particularly if this has happened before, I feel like they should have been able to provide the same guidance you did.
Who's responsible for the servers for that widget - just curious, I guess...

This might be a lil off topic but it's still pertaining to the weather widget. I went intuit settings and I realize I can't select the option to "update automatically" and set the frequency for how often I want it to update. My only option, which is already selected, is "update when opened"
Is this happening to anyone else??

Hello everyone. As you can see I have a GPS inaccuracy problem. My phone fixes to 7-8 satellites really fast (approx. 10 sec.), but when I use Run Keeper/similar sports tracker or Google Maps my trail is like zig-zag, app shows that I'm moving at crazy speed and so on. I tried AGPS Patch 3.1 by crypted, GPS fix by xenova, flashing some Radios (31_M and 18_M), ROMs and kernels (currently ARHD and Sultan kernel, tried ViperS, CM10.1), but nothing helps... I add some pictures which show my trail when I went across street (Vilniaus g.). Please help. Thanks

If the problem remains also after wiping all, I think it could be an hardware issue.

When you use GPS while driving your car, the path has the same issue?
Totally wiped and installed CM10.1, but the problem remains. I bought it used. I don't know how much time it was used, but the digitizer had stock glue and the VOID is not damaged. No rust. So I think the previous user didn't have problems with phone. Never used navigation in car because I live in small country, which doesn't require any navigation to drive across Can RUU affect this? I really need normal lock...
If you try using only google maps? Test it making sure that it is the only app using GPS (kill background open apps).
i have the exact same problem! I've had the phone for a while, so maybe it's something that is worn. I'm thinking about the connections between the antennas and the phone for example. I hope we can find a solution! It's independent of which rom I use and which apps I use.
Have you seen this tip? "New Sensation Install - Gps Problems (Fixed)" @ cyanogenmod forum.
I can't find the option in cm10.1. So maybe they removed it or changed it to something else.
I'm thinking about flashing cm9 just to try it..

Google Maps behaves exactly the same. Arrow, which shows my position, jumping all arround my street pretty much the same as in RunKeeper.

I don't think that this is something software specific. I think that the problem is hiding somewhere deeper but not in software, because all roms and different radios behave the same way. I think this is something hardware related.

Mmm, then I think it's an hardware problem... try to contact HTC support!
Hello again every one. I don't want to create a new thread so I'm writting here. Maybe someone knows what problem this is? HTC support, as always, suggesting me to do things like resetting phone, pulling out the battery, fully charge and so on... I thinking about selling this wonderful phone because of such a big problem... I can't use GPS everywhere...
Gps inaccuracy problem is also facing to me too.
I solved it by flashing the latest firmware and use clocksync before each time i run. Works reasonable, but the clock drifts quite fast. It wasnt enough to only use clocksync or only flash firmware.

It's back.. I've ordered an Omate Truesmart to use for running instead..
My thoughts are that it could be the gps antenna connections to the back. I have no other ideas..
The weather data on my Gear S2 never updates until I actually go into the weather app - not even when I scroll over to the weather widget. I've done some reading on various forums and discovered this is a common problem people have had with Samsung smartwatches over the last few years, and it's usually been solved by making sure the Samsung "weather daemon" app is up to date and keeping a weather widget on the paired phone's homescreen. That, unfortunately, doesn't help since I'm running the S2 with my Sony Xperia Z3. I tried to install the weather daemon and widget from the Galaxy S5 on my phone, and not only did it not work, it stuffed up my phone and I had to factory reset and reinstall my rom. So here's the question: is Samsung likely to make weather updates work properly when running on other phones? And, seeing as the answer to that is probably "no, or at least not for a while", what are the chances we might be able to figure out another way of getting this to work?

An adjustment I had to make. I have been using a 3d party program for weather on my phone because I like the look of the widget on my phone. Well, if I have date, time, temp, and weather on my watch I don't need it on my phone anymore! So I got rid of the 3d party app, downloaded the not as attractive on the phone but just as functional AccuWeather app, and my updates appear to be working on time. Just needed to adjust from checking my phone for a forecast to checking my watch.
Sounds like you have a Samsung phone then, where the Samsung-specific AccuWeather app is hooked into the OS and by extension the watch connection. Those of us with non-Samsung phones don't have the same solution. What we need is a way of replicating the functionality of Samsung's "weatherdaemon" apk on a non-TouchWiz rom.
Gear S2 Weather Sync
I am also facing the same issue with my Sony Z3. I hope somebody can help me to solve this annoying problem. I have noticed that if I factory reset my gear S2 and install all the apps again on my phone my watch will work perfectly and weather information will sync without any problem in my watch until the moment that I turn my phone off. When I turn it on again the weather stops sync and only updates on the phone manually.

I've the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, STOCK-ROM...
No way to know if it'll be fixed on other phones yet then. I'm guessing not.
not fixed for me, no wayt o make it auto sync, got a samsung phone
(Sigh) I just deleted all my non-Samsung Note 4 weather programs and used the one that came with the phone. And, lo and behold, the weather now updates hourly. That must be the trick, use the stock Accuweather app.
