MHL For Pioneer AppRadio3 - Note Edge Accessories

Hey guys.
Before my Note Edge I had a Galaxy Note (N7000) and connected it via MHL to my Pioneer AppRadio to fully mirror my phone and it worked perfectly.
The Pioneer Android kit looks like this and comes with MHL...

So today I tried to connect my Edge to the AppRadio and it does not work :crying:
I have checked the power and when I connect the MHL power cable to my phone my phone charges so that is fine.
I have tried connecting my Sony Bravia TV to my Edge via MHL using a 'fresh HDMI cable' and it doesn't do anything.
Is the Pioneer MHL incompatible with the Edge (is it a 1st generation MHL) and the Edge can only use the current 3.0 generation?
I really appreciate your help.

I don't think AppRadio is compatible with our phones yet...

Really? I thought in terms of compatibility as long as you have MHL support on your device it will work. Its literally just an Android App and MHL connection.
Regardless of the above, my MHL adapter does not work with the AppRadio on my Sony Bravia (2014 model) in the MHL port. So is this a broken MHL adapter or do I need the new MHL 3.0 for the Edge to work via MHL?

Having conducted some more research I have found the following:
The original Samsung MHL adapter for smartphones. Released in 2011 for the Samsung Galaxy S2, this adapter has a 5 pin layout. External power is required.
I believe the Pioneer MHL provided is Generation 1 (5Pin)
Compatibility with 2nd generation phones is possible with 5-11 pin adapter.

The Edge needs an 11pin and the 5pin will not work on its own and so rather than use a rubbish adapter I have ordered the below.

[Q] Galaxy tablet + Asus Transformer Keyboard dock. What do you think?

I hate the official Keyboard for the Galaxy tablets. It is just a docking craddle with a keyboard, but I would love to have something like the Asus Transformer Keyboard Dock for my Galaxy. It is not only a docking craddle and a keyboard, but also a backup battery, an expansion port (USB and card reader) and it can transform the Asus tablet into a netbook format.
This keyboard is connected to the tablet using a 30 pin port similar to the docking port in the Galaxy tablets but a little different. But since the functionality of this port is equal to the Galaxy port, I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the Asus port and replace it with a Samsung port and a little of pin swapping, of course.
What do you think?
Of course there is the problem of accommodating the Samsung tablet in a place designed to accommodate the Asus tablet but this is not a problem a Dremel can't solve. I'm more interested in the electronic side of the problem.
I have connected succesfully a device with keyboard + mouse to the tablet using an OTG USB cable and I know there are USB hubs that work with the tablet allowing the connection of several USB devices at once and also the charger, so if this docking keyboard is constructed as a usb hub with keyboard + mouse + additional USB + card reader, it should be possible to connect it.
I'm not sure if this keyboard has also audio ports and if they can be put to work too, but this would be an additional bonus since I'm mainly interested in getting the keyboard and mouse working and then the USB, card reader and battery backup and lastly the sound (if it exists)
Any tech info about the Asus Keyboard Dock and Asus docking port will be highly appreciated.
I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, but I think this project should work the same also for all Galaxy tablets with a 30 pin docking port. (Tab 10.1, Tab 2 10.1, Tab 7", Tab7" plus, Tab 2 7", Note 8"... )
Here is an image of the keyboard with some specifications:

[Q] TS PCB firmware question

So, a friend of mine brought me 2 TF300T's, both with cracked digitizers, and 2 new digitizers he bought off of ebay. Both tabs are
5158n's, both new digis are G01's. Research on this site lead me to the firmware update of the TS PCB Ver. 4820. I've done all my android phones so I'm good so far. My problem is the tabs have no touch and I have no dock to enable debug mode. Someone mentioned a usb adapter connected to a mouse but never gave a description of it.
So can anyone give me a bypass or the part number of the necessary USB adapter? I have the data cable. Would a double female USB attached to the data cable then plugged into a mouse work? Thanks

TV dock + controller dock?

Hi there!
Has anyone bought a dock that allows them to stream from the dock to the TV(wired), and used a gamepad (bluetooth connected) to android?
Scenario: go to a hotel, plug phone into dock, connect dock to wall for power, and TV to stream. Connect bluetooth gamepad to galaxy s 5. Play game on TV.
Sorry if I'm not explaining this clearly, I can try a different way.
Thanks!
Different solution: Just use HDMI adapter instead of dock. Specifically one with this code: EE-HN910FWESTA. I can only find it on the Samsung website, and it hasn't had any reviews yet. (Not sure if I should buy)

I bought a dock for the s4 with hdmi and 3 usb ports, as soon as I got the s5 I tried the dock with this device but it doesn't work.
I think the problem is that s5 doesn't have a dock mode
New information is known for this problem?
I have something like

i bought it for my s4 and it also works with my g900f the only problem is that the charging current is low, around 800mA, and at s5 because the charging port cover it cannot be pushed well and it doesn't stay only forced.
Does that dock has usb-otg? The problem seems to appear when trying to use mhl-hdmi and usb otg at the same time.

Looking for a USB-C Hub with Power Delivery

I'm looking for a USB-C Hub with Power Delivery, any good suggestion?
I saw Choetech's official Facebook were given out big discount codes of its USB-C multiport adaptor, so I sent a PM to request a code. Anybody used this one?

Did you find a suitable hub?
Hi everyone,
I'm also trying to find a hub with different connector like HDMI / USB-A 3.0 / Ethernet... but it's very difficult to know if they are compatible with the Pixel C.
Most of them are compatible with Macbook but to few information about compatibility with Android.
Does anybody make a list of compatible hubs for pixel C ?
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B01CJMQZF0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have this one. Of course look on it on amazon.com
It has ethernet,3hubs that i use with usb stick(fat32) to move my docs and has powerdelivery to charge while u work. HDMI is not supported with usb c yet.
A list I don't have but for a little over $11, I bought me this 3-Port USB 3.0 LAN RJ45 Hub (eBay Item # 162126608654) in combination with a USB 3.0 Female to USB C (Item # 152382378772)
, and my G-Pixel C is a happy camper so far
Also, a friend of mine has this one with power throughput to host, works great on my Pixel C too

I have one, it works. The HDMI doesn't work yet: but it's a Pixel C problem: see here
These claim Power Delivery.

Does anyone know of a hub that doesn't briefly disconnect USB devices (mouse, keyboard, Ethernet dongle, hard drive, ETC) if the charger is unplugged?
I have some cheap hubs and they work but if I unplug the charger then everything disconnects for a moment until the tablet can reconnect with its own power. This is not great for thumb drives!
As far as I know, all USB type-C hubs are like this. In fact, I think It's the intended behaviour. Switching from charger to device for power necessitates a brief interruption.
