TV dock + controller dock? - Galaxy S 5 Accessories

Hi there!
Has anyone bought a dock that allows them to stream from the dock to the TV(wired), and used a gamepad (bluetooth connected) to android?
Scenario: go to a hotel, plug phone into dock, connect dock to wall for power, and TV to stream. Connect bluetooth gamepad to galaxy s 5. Play game on TV.
Sorry if I'm not explaining this clearly, I can try a different way.
Thanks!
Different solution: Just use HDMI adapter instead of dock. Specifically one with this code: EE-HN910FWESTA. I can only find it on the Samsung website, and it hasn't had any reviews yet. (Not sure if I should buy)

I bought a dock for the s4 with hdmi and 3 usb ports, as soon as I got the s5 I tried the dock with this device but it doesn't work.
I think the problem is that s5 doesn't have a dock mode

New information is known for this problem?

I have something like

i bought it for my s4 and it also works with my g900f the only problem is that the charging current is low, around 800mA, and at s5 because the charging port cover it cannot be pushed well and it doesn't stay only forced.

Does that dock has usb-otg? The problem seems to appear when trying to use mhl-hdmi and usb otg at the same time.

Make phone a Bluetooth Receiver/Dongle?

Hey guys, I have a PS3, and I want to make its controller to work with my PC, thing is, it involves having an Bluetooth USB Dongle, which I don't. An example:

Thing is my Xperia x10 has bluetooth, so why can't I make it receive the controller's signal and transmit it through USB? There must be a way to make it like a Bluetooth receiver. Do you guys know how?
wow, that is a custom software job for sure, one that is almost surely not going to work simply because the MotionJoy drivers are finnicky when it comes to bluetooth controllers.
Let me tell you from experience, you want to purchase a cheap USB dongle, one that is known to work with the MotionJoy ps3 drivers if you want any chance of getting your ps3 controller to work wirelessly with your PC. I got one for like $5-10 bucks. Save yourself the trouble and do the same.
=(
It would be soo interesting lol. But actually on the phone's part it's not that complicated, it just needs a software to make it a bluetooth receiver!
you have to install third party bluetooth apk in order to make it a receiver, you can find in at the market...cheers

I've searched for it, but without success. Which apk is it?
So as to not clutter the board with duplicate requests: I was wondering if this can be done on Windows Mobile as well? Would anyone know some apps/hacks that might enable this?
ds3 controller to non-bluetooth pc
Rooted android device > sixaxis controller app > then the droidmote app and Corresponding pc receiver
Trying to do the same but with just a regular generic phone gamepad. Any update to solutions involving this?

[Q] TS PCB firmware question

So, a friend of mine brought me 2 TF300T's, both with cracked digitizers, and 2 new digitizers he bought off of ebay. Both tabs are
5158n's, both new digis are G01's. Research on this site lead me to the firmware update of the TS PCB Ver. 4820. I've done all my android phones so I'm good so far. My problem is the tabs have no touch and I have no dock to enable debug mode. Someone mentioned a usb adapter connected to a mouse but never gave a description of it.
So can anyone give me a bypass or the part number of the necessary USB adapter? I have the data cable. Would a double female USB attached to the data cable then plugged into a mouse work? Thanks

Charging stand/dock?

I'm looking for a plain charging stand or dock for the Galaxy Tab S, but I can't seem to find one. Does anyone know of such an accessory (could be Samsung or 3rd-party, either specific to the Galaxy Tab S or even generic)?
I've had probably 8 tablets by now and used this stand with all of them.

I just found the following dock (which charges) on Amazon. I assume that since it is "universal", it will work with the Galaxy Tab S. Any reason why it shouldn't?

Sorry, I can't post URLs yet because I'm new here and XDA won't let me. Simple search for the above model number will yield links to it.
False, that was for the old Galaxy Tab with a 30 pin connector, you need one with USB connector, like this:

It should work but this is uncharted territory so...

i recommend a Quirky Converge Universal USB Docking Station
I haven't yet tried it but I think this KIDIGI Dock would be better than Samsung's Universal Dock because the back rest sticks up higher; better for portrait tablets, less wobble when you tap the screen.

-This mob have it as sold out but I bet you can find it elsewhere!
Cheers
I just scored a tab s to replace my dear ancient playbook which replaced my dear ancient Touchpad. Blackberry and HP got so many things right including their just plain perfect docks that let you sleepily/lazily/distractedly/drunkenly slide the tablet into place perfectly every time leaving it always charged. Losing those amazing docks is one of the main things that's kept me from upgrading, any new docks out there that people are loving?
In a perfect world there would be one where the usb nub pops into place when the tablet's lined up... Or a good case with a qi adapter.
Checked & in Stock now.

MHL For Pioneer AppRadio3

Hey guys.
Before my Note Edge I had a Galaxy Note (N7000) and connected it via MHL to my Pioneer AppRadio to fully mirror my phone and it worked perfectly.
The Pioneer Android kit looks like this and comes with MHL...
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So today I tried to connect my Edge to the AppRadio and it does not work :crying:
I have checked the power and when I connect the MHL power cable to my phone my phone charges so that is fine.
I have tried connecting my Sony Bravia TV to my Edge via MHL using a 'fresh HDMI cable' and it doesn't do anything.
Is the Pioneer MHL incompatible with the Edge (is it a 1st generation MHL) and the Edge can only use the current 3.0 generation?
I really appreciate your help.
I don't think AppRadio is compatible with our phones yet...
Really? I thought in terms of compatibility as long as you have MHL support on your device it will work. Its literally just an Android App and MHL connection.
Regardless of the above, my MHL adapter does not work with the AppRadio on my Sony Bravia (2014 model) in the MHL port. So is this a broken MHL adapter or do I need the new MHL 3.0 for the Edge to work via MHL?
Having conducted some more research I have found the following:
The original Samsung MHL adapter for smartphones. Released in 2011 for the Samsung Galaxy S2, this adapter has a 5 pin layout. External power is required.
I believe the Pioneer MHL provided is Generation 1 (5Pin)
Compatibility with 2nd generation phones is possible with 5-11 pin adapter.

The Edge needs an 11pin and the 5pin will not work on its own and so rather than use a rubbish adapter I have ordered the below.

Do you think a usb to vga connection would work?

Let me explain, I have a cathode ray television, a cube one, and I would like to adapt it as a second monitor. So I'm thinking of buying an adapter to convert its signal, the problem? my pc doesn't have another extra connector for a new monitor. After searching, I discover that there are cables that adapt usb to vga, and I more or less trace what you can see in the image. My doubts are, would this set work? regarding the USB to VGA adapter, I have not seen many tests on the internet of this working outside laptops, but it has a usb 3.0 connection, could it work in my computer?
I don't really care about the imput lag, I just want to know if it would work or because of the power load or something like that it wouldn't work.

Nice artwork. It should work.
It depends on your system recongnizing the "USB to VGA", which is an external video card.
You could do it with a internal video card if you have the slots.

I do not understand. The usb to vga adapter I saw was a cable, and to use it you had to install their respective drivers. My pc supports video cards, but because of my budget I can't get one yet. If I had one, I would just look for an hdmi to rca adapter.
Thanks for your answer, by the way.
Well, that little thingy with a plug has a frame buffer and all the things that a video card must have.
It's just that instead of connecting over PCI it connects over USB.

Oh, I get it. Thanks for your help
I'll point out the obvious that you can pick up a used LCD monitor for $10 at any charity shop.
The image will be better and you won't need the VGA to RCA adapter.
