Sprint - LG G Flex - LS995ZV9
The LG G Flex from sprint does have a Root checker that detects the method below!
Root Support:
Android Version (4.4.2) Cannot be rooted with the tool below!
Android Versions prior to 4.4.2 are able to achieve root and you can root
If you have Android Version (4.4.2) you must downgrade useing the tools and links below...
Downgrade your Device Rom: Downgrade my Device
If you have Android Version less than 4.4.2 you may skip the above step and go straight into rooting your device use the links below to achieve root!
Root your device: Get Root On my Device
!!!Do NOT use SuperSU to try and keep root with OTA (Over The Air) updates you will break the OTA update and your phone will boot-loop.!!!
If this happens you can use the downgrade tool to re-install the Factory Default ROM.
If the files above no longer download you may use this: on my website

Hi everyboby,
I'm new to the world of rooting and beyond. Just bought a LG G2 F320K (Korean version) a few weeks ago. The phone came with Android 4.2.2 Kitkat. Upgraded to 5.0.1 through OTA (the present software version is F320K30j, Android 5.0.1). I tried to root the phone with one-click method (LG_One_Click_Root_v1.3.msi). The phone was reportedly rooted but SuperSU did not show up automatically. I downloaded the SuperSU from the PlayStore only to find out that there was no su binary installed and SuperSU couldn't install it. I've tried to find out how to install the binary and found out that the only way to do it is to flash a zip file which in turn needs a custom recovery, which in turn needs the phone to be rooted (Isn't that funny!) I've tried manually root the phone by using the LG Root tool with no success (the phone refused to carry out the last command) . Is there anyway to solve this problem? Thank you.
I have a MetroPCS Huawei Vitria y301a2. I have downloaded the framaroot 1.9.3 apk file to root my phone. From what I have read, this should be the correct version to root my phone. However, I am getting a parsing error when I try to install. Any suggestions?
Other specs:
dual core 1.2 ghz
1g ram
4g sd card
android version 4.1.2
baseband 172138
system is up to date
Different root software for the Y301A2
Thanks, I will. I am in the process of getting the bootloader code from Huawei. When I do, I'll get the kingroot and proceed with the rooting. To be sure, it's kingroot and not kingo root? I found this info on a blog site:
Kingo Root (works with B137 update)
Cydia Impactor(works with B137 update)
FarmaRoot (not recommend but works)
SuperSU CWM Installed(Requires bootloader unlock and CWM)
Thanks!
is there a root for this version?
i just dont want to brick my phone.
thank you in advance.
no root possible on 20K or any other version, except 20A. only way to get root on the H830 is to all of the following steps:
unlock bootloader
downgrade to vesion 20A
install TWRP
install supersu
I did it 2 weeks ago and took about an hour.
Hi,
New to LG G5. Bought from eBay with a modified ROM H83020i_un. My goal is to get to run Nougat with root. I have read a few threads and it seems the steps would be.
1. Install 20a. This is the last version I can install TWRP and root. Instruction is [STOCK][N][ARB01] H830 20A ROM + Flashable ZIPs + IMGs + KDZ
2. Unlock the bootloader, install TWRP and root. Instructions are now with TWRP!
3. Disable OTA update as it will break my phone. The instruction is in LG G5 ALL-IN-ONE THREAD in the section of "Disable OTAs"
4. Upgrade to the latest Nougat. Instructions for 20k is [STOCK][N][ARB01] H830 20k ZIPs + IMGs + KDZ (2017-07-01 Security Patch), following Install via TWRP Directions -> Stock ROOTED
In the event I would need to stock, it appears flashing via LG tool will just replace TWRP.
Is my understanding correct?
Thanks
Somehow I upgraded to H81021y, but i looking to root this i tried moving back to 5.1 and that was not working.. Is there any way i can root this device ?
there is an twrp recovery for the lg g4 all variants link here

other wise you can try using kingo root but be aware as kingo root is not really trusted but there is a way to remove the kingo root after succesfull root.

I have not done this on my lg g4 AT&T varriant for almost 1 whole year because i hard bricked it by accidently flashing the PR version. Proceed with caution!
No funciona ..algún método diferente o v
